To evaluate the ecological niche of photovoltaic agriculture in China, an evaluation index system was constructed. Based on the presentation form of interval numbers, we used the interval entropy weight method and interval cloud model to measure the niche state value and niche role value of photovoltaic agriculture. In this way, we determined the development trend of the ecological niche of photovoltaic agriculture. The results show that Chinese photovoltaic agriculture is in a good state and plays a good, but weak, role. The ecological niche of China’s photovoltaic agriculture will undergo a four-stage evolution process: positioning, integration, leap, and symbiosis. China has completed the positioning stage and entered the integration stage. Hence, it is important to constantly improve the level of industrial integration technology and to form a new photovoltaic agriculture recycling economic ecosystem.

In accordance with the requirements of the circular economy in Guangxi (of PRC) and the characteristics of the drivers of low-carbon competitiveness in the regional construction industry, a causal flowchart of influencing factors of the low-carbon competitiveness in the Guangxi construction industry is constructed, and a model based on system dynamics is established. After the entropy weight method is used to determine the variable weight, VENSIM PLE software is used to simulate the development trend of the low-carbon competitiveness of the Guangxi construction industry. The simulation results of the promotion effect of various factors on the development of the low-carbon competitiveness of the regional construction industry from 2010 to 2020 are obtained, and countermeasures and suggestions are proposed from the perspective of a circular economy.

Due to the complex evaluation of the current military aircrafts’ overhaul performance with many influencing factors, an evaluation index system of military aircrafts’ overhaul performance was constructed. It was proposed that the entropy weight method (EWM) was used to calculate the performance results, and then the performance of the reliability and validity of the results was verified based on the cloud model. By collecting the performance index data of a certain type of military aircraft overhaul from 2015 to 2018, the value of the overhaul performance of this type of military aircraft was calculated, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the method were verified.

The debris flow is one of the geological hazards; its occurrence is complex, fuzzy, and random. And it is affected by many indices; a new multi-index assessment method is proposed to analyze the risk level of debris flow based on the entropy weight-normal cloud model in Banshanmen gully. The index weight is calculated by using the entropy weight method. Then, the certainty degree of each index belonging to the corresponding cloud is obtained by using the cloud model. The final risk level of debris flow is determined according to the synthetic certainty degree. The conclusions are drawn that the method is feasible and accurate rate of risk estimation for debris flow is very high, so a new method and thoughts for the risk assessment of debris flow can be provided in the future.

Based on research into the theory of household assets and the welfare of farmers, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)-entropy weight method and cloud model were used to study the welfare level of land-lost farmers’ households under the different livelihood assets of Taohuayi Village, Taohuasan Village and Taohuawu Village in Taohua Town, Nanchang City. The results show that (1) The comprehensive welfare level of asset-deficient farmers’ households is between the “bad” and “medium” levels and is closer to the “bad” level. The comprehensive welfare level of asset-balanced farmers’ households is between “general” and “good” and is closer to the “good” level. (2) Judging from the various functional activity indicators that affect the welfare of the land-lost farmers, after the asset-deficient farmers’ households lose their land, the welfare level of the family’s financial situation, social security, living environment, mental status, development opportunities, and political participation are generally at low to medium-low levels, and only living conditions are at medium-to-high levels. (3) The welfare level of the living environment of the asset-balanced farmers’ households is at a moderately low level, and the welfare of the remaining functional activities is at a medium to a medium-high level. We then propose corresponding policy recommendations. After losing land, it is necessary to implement a differentiated circulation guarantee and support policies to achieve targeted compensation and support for the land-lost farmers’ households to improve the welfare level of land-lost farmers’ households under different living asset allocation.

A bogie system is the key equipment of railway vehicles. Rigorous practical evaluation of bogies is still a challenge. Presently, there is overreliance on part-specific experiments in practice. In the present work, a risk evaluation index system of a bogie system has been established based on the inspection data and experts’ evaluation. Then, considering quantitative and qualitative aspects, the risk state of a bogie system has been evaluated using an extension theory and an entropy weight method. Finally, the method has been used to assess the bogie system of four different samples. Results show that this method can assess the risk state of a bogie system exactly.

There are 11 provinces along the coastal regions in the Chinese Mainland and the scientific division of marine management boundaries among different provinces within the extents of the territorial sea is of important significance in promoting the sustainable development of the marine economy in China. A fuzzy evaluation index system that includes 14 indices of three subsets was established based on a case study of maritime boundary delimitation between Jiangsu and Shandong Provinces to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of maritime boundary delimitation and determine the optimal scheme and offset shortages in the current evaluation index system and evaluation methods. Combined weights of indices were calculated through the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy weight method. The comprehensive evaluation indices were used to evaluate three maritime boundary delimitation schemes, namely, historical boundary delimitation scheme, angle bisector delimitation scheme, and equidistance delimitation scheme. Results show that the equidistance delimitation scheme is relatively superior to the two other schemes. The evaluation index is 0.504761 and the evaluation grade is “good”. The angle bisector delimitation scheme is the second optimal. The evaluation index is 0.361641 and the grade is “moderate”. The historical boundary delimitation scheme is the poorest. The evaluation index is 0.135345 and the grade is “poor”. In the late optimization of maritime boundary delimitation schemes, more consideration should be given to people’s livelihood and protection of national maritime rights and interests. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on AHP-entropy weight can not only provide a quantitative top-down sequence of schemes in terms of quality and solve estimation problems in maritime boundary delimitation scheme, but also assist decision-makers to select the best scheme. Therefore, it possesses great application values.

Traffic state evaluation is a basic and critical work in the research on road traffic congestion. It can provide basic data support for the improvement measures and information release in traffic management and service. The aim of this research is to obtain a comprehensive value to describe traffic state accurately based on the evaluation index system. In this paper, it is carried out using fuzzy c-means (FCM) algorithm and fuzzy entropy weight method. In the framework, traffic flow was classified into six different states to determine the fuzzy range of indices using the improved FCM clustering analysis. Besides, fuzzy entropy weight method is proposed to compute the evaluation result of traffic state for section, road and road network, respectively. The experiments based on the traffic information in a subset of Beijing’s road network prove that the findings of traffic evaluation are in accordance with the actual situation and people’s sense of traffic state.
