Under the background of rapid urbanization, the study explored the adaptive relationship between urban spatial development and water landscape in different stages in Caidian District, Wuhan in order to reveal the characteristics and influencing factors of water landscape adaptability of urban spatial development and improve urban sustainability aiming at optimizing spatial development and improving water landscape function. Caidian District was seen as a complex adaptive system formed by the interaction between the base layer and the occupation layer. The assessment system of urban spatial development is constructed based on land use data and landscape pattern indices, and the coupling coordination degree model and correlation analysis were used to describe the characteristics of water landscape adaptability of urban spatial development. The results showed that: (1) the adaptation relationship between urban space and water landscape in Caidian District was becoming tense; (2) different spatial systems have unique adaptation cycles to water landscape; (3) the 1000 m buffer is the main area affected by water landscape adaptability of urban spatial development. This study provides a new perspective for the urban adaptability. Finally, improvement suggestions were put forward by three aspects of water landscape structure control, urban development control, and ecological space demarcation.

In order to avoid enterprise information system (EIS) risk, the self-organization mechanism of EIS based on complex adaptive system (CAS) is studied. Firstly, self-organization properties of EIS are analyzed, which include open system, nonlinear characteristics, far from equilibrium and fluctuations. Secondly, the complex properties and complex adaptive properties of EIS self-organization are studied. The complex properties include multi-agent, active adaptation of agents, multi-level nature, technology complexity, organizational complexity, process complexity and environment complexity. The complex adaptive properties include aggregation mechanism, identification mechanism, non-linear characteristics flow characteristics, diversity characteristics, internal model mechanism and block characteristics. Finally, architecture model of EIS self-organization is proposed as well as its macro and micro models, which provides a new perspective for EIS and helps understand the rules of EIS implementation.

Mathematical methods are only one moment in a layered process of theory generation in political economy, which starts from Schumpeterian vision, progresses to the identification of relevant abstractions, the development of mathematical and quantitative models, and the confrontation of theories with empirical data through statistical methods. But today the relevant abstract problems of political economy are modified to fit available mathematical tools. The role of empirical research in disciplining theoretical speculation, on which the scientific traditions integrity rests, was undermined by specific limitations of nascent econometric methods, and usurped by ex cathedra methodological fiats of theorists. These developmentssystematically favored certain ideological predispositions of economicsas a discipline. There is abundant room for New Thinking in political economy starting from the vision of the capitalist economy as a complex, adaptive system far from equilibrium, including the development of the theory of statistical fluctuations for economic interactions, redirection of macroeconomics and financial economics from path prediction toward an understanding of the qualitative properties of the system, introduction of constructive and computable methods into economic modeling, and the critical reconstruction of econometric statistical methods.

AbstractThis paper deals with constellations in which, as consequences of linguistic interculturality, elements of two or more languages encounter each other and result in something partially or completely new, an – occasionally temporary – “third quality”, namely hybridity. The paper contributes to the meta-discourse and theory formation by questioning the concept, term and content of “linguistic hybridity”. It also submits a proposal for a typology of linguistic-communicative hybridity that consists of the following prototypical main groups, each with several subtypes: (1) language-cultural, (2) semiotic, (3) medial, (4) communicative, (5) systematic, (6) paraverbal and (7) nonverbal hybridity. At last, the paper examines hybridity as an explanatory variable for language change. In conclusion, hybridity is generally a place of cultural production, with special regard to communication and language it is potentially considered as an incubator of linguistic innovation. Hybridity can be seen as the engine and as the result of language change, or language development. It represents an essential factor by which language functions and develops as a complex adaptive system. Hybridity operates as a continuous cycle. By generating innovation, it triggers language change, which in turn, leads to further and new hybridizations. The processuality of hybridity creates diversity, while at the same time it can cause the vanishing of diversity.

Based on complex adaptive system theory, the characteristics of water resources allocation system of river basin are analyzed. Evolutionary mechanisms and process of complex adaptive water resources allocation system in Dianchi basin are researched, and also characteristics of "learning". A complex adaptive system model of water-resource allocation is established during analyzing the influence factors and the reaction rules of water consumer agents and water provider agents. And based on this model, water resources in Dianchi basin is allocated only under Dianchi water provider and Zhangjiu river Yunlong reservoir water provider by using the platform of matlab. Finally, corresponding calculation results and conclusions are concluded.
