With the increasingly serious aging problem, getting around in communities has become an important means of socializing for older adults. This study proposes a new community aging-friendly transportation service system from the perspective of service design, so as to help realize the sustainable development of community services. To achieve this objective, the pain points and demands of older adults while traveling in communities were collected through a questionnaire survey, focus group interview, and user journey map. In addition, the grounded theory was applied to encode the qualitative data obtained in the focus group interview, so as to explore the path composition and dimension connotation of designing community transportation services. Based on the research results, we found that service strategy, service foundation, service support, and service effect are the key factors influencing customized transportation services. The established model covers the design framework of the service system, customized traffic service process, design strategy of community stakeholders, and traffic service system diagram. These research results provide references for community managers, community service providers, and designers.

Abstract BackgroundEven though transition care can affect functional status and quality of life after acute hospitalization for older adults, less is known on problems associated with discharge planning in Korean acute hospitals. We aimed to investigate barriers and possible solutions on transfer planning of complex older patients in this study.MethodsWe used focus group interview with application of framework analysis. Twelve physicians providing inpatient care from 6 different institutions in Korea participated for the interview. Facilitating questions were extracted from 2 roundtable meetings prior to the main interview. From transcribed verbatim, themes were constructed from corresponding remarks by participants. ResultsWe revealed two main domains of the barrier which included multiple subdomains for each of them. First domain was a patient factor barrier, a composite of misperception of medical provider’s intentions, incomprehension of the healthcare system, and communication failure between the caregivers or decision makers. Second domain, institutional factors included different fee structures across the different levels of care, high barrier to accessing health service in tertiary hospitals or to be referred to, hardship of communication between institutions, and insufficient subacute rehabilitation service across the country. ConclusionsThrough the interview, physicians in the field recognized barriers of smooth transition care process from tertiary level hospitals to community care especially for older adults. Participants emphasized both the patients and hospital sides of adjustment on behaviors, communication, and greater attention for what really matters for the individuals during the transition period.

The purpose of this study was to investigate consumer lifestyles and preferences for sofa leather through Literature Review, Focus Group Interview and Experts Interview. The lifestyle questionnaire was created to research into the subjects’ preferences in accordance with 4 kinds of leather types, 5 kinds of grains, and 5 kinds of colors. After the authors’ statistical analysis of 206 copies of the effective questionnaires, the research results among every group showed that the favorites were Aniline Leather of leather types, smaller particles of grains, and high contrast colors, such as white and black. Further, the consumer groups against sofa leather could be divided into 5 difference ones. The taste of the elder subjects in "Appreciate Life" was similar to the overall preferences ; however, the taste of the junior subjects in "Single Learing" and "Youthful & Carefree" was unique and different from the overall preferences.
