In this paper, we investigate some properties and identities for fully degenerate Bernoulli polynomials in connection with degenerate Bernstein polynomials by means of bosonic p-adic integrals on Z p and generating functions. Furthermore, we study two variable degenerate Bernstein polynomials and the degenerate Bernstein operators.

In recent years, intensive studies on degenerate versions of various special numbers and polynomials have been done by means of generating functions, combinatorial methods, umbral calculus, p-adic analysis and differential equations. The degenerate Bernstein polynomials and operators were recently introduced as degenerate versions of the classical Bernstein polynomials and operators. Herein, we firstly derive some of their basic properties. Secondly, we explore some properties of the degenerate Euler numbers and polynomials and also their relations with the degenerate Bernstein polynomials.

In this article, the Legendre-Gould-Hopper polynomials are combined with Appell sequences to introduce certain mixed type special polynomials by using operational method. The generating functions, determinant definitions and certain other properties of Legendre-Gould-Hopper based Appell polynomials are derived. Operational rules providing connections between these formulae and known special polynomials are established. The 2-variable Hermite Kamp? de F?riet based Bernoulli polynomials are considered as an member of Legendre-Gould-Hopper based Appell family and certain results for this member are also obtained.

AbstractThis paper aims to show new algebraic properties from the q-generalized Bernoulli polynomials B_n^{[m - 1]}(x;q) of level m, as well as some others identities which connect this polynomial class with the q-generalized Bernoulli polynomials of level m, as well as the q-gamma function, and the q-Stirling numbers of the second kind and the q-Bernstein polynomials.

The q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials can be given by Witt’s type formulas as p-adic invariant integrals on Z p . We investigate some properties for them. In addition, we consider two variable q-Bernstein polynomials and operators and derive several properties for these polynomials and operators. Next, we study the evaluation problem for the double integrals on Z p of two variable q-Bernstein polynomials and show that they can be expressed in terms of the q-Bernoulli numbers and some special values of q-Bernoulli polynomials. This is generalized to the problem of evaluating any finite product of two variable q-Bernstein polynomials. Furthermore, some identities for q-Bernoulli numbers are found.

In this paper, a new class of q-Hermite based Frobenius type Eulerian polynomials is introduced by means of generating function and series representation. Several fundamental formulas and recurrence relations for these polynomials are derived via different generating methods. Furthermore, diverse correlations including the q-Apostol-Bernoulli polynomials, the q-Apostol-Euler poynoomials, the q-Apostol-Genocchi polynomials and the q-Stirling numbers of the second kind are also established by means of the their generating functions.

The formula for the sums of powers of positive integers, given by Faulhaber in 1631, is proven by using trigonometric identities and some properties of the Bernoulli polynomials. Using trigonometric functions identities and generating functions for some well-known special numbers and polynomials, many novel formulas and relations including alternating sums of powers of positive integers, the Bernoulli polynomials and numbers, the Euler polynomials and numbers, the Fubini numbers, the Stirling numbers, the tangent numbers are also given. Moreover, by applying the Riemann integral and p-adic integrals involving the fermionic p-adic integral and the Volkenborn integral, some new identities and combinatorial sums related to the aforementioned numbers and polynomials are derived. Furthermore, we serve up some revealing and historical remarks and observations on the results of this paper.

AbstractDirect and converse theorems are established for the q-Bernstein polynomials introduced by G. M. Phillips. The direct approximation theorems are given for the second-order Ditzian–Totik modulus of smoothness. The converse results are theorems of Berens–Lorentz type.
