The prime objective of the current study is to examine the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and FP of manufacturing firms listed in PSX. In addition to that, the mediating role of alliance formation orientation and total quality management in the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and FP of manufacturing firms listed in PSX is also examined. Using random sampling, the final sample appeared as 347. To answer the research questions, we have used PLS-SEM statistical technique. The reason behind using this technique primarily that the aim of current study is to check the weather there is any mediating effect on relations. The second foremost reason of using this technique is that there is no issue if the data is normally distributed or not. Mostly reaches of social science indicates the normality issue in data. So, for such studies PLS is the more appropriate technique, because it can easily handle the abnormal data. The response rate of present study is 63.2% which is significantly high. The survey results have supported the hypothesized results. This study is among the pioneer studies on the issue and will be beneficial for researchers and policy makers. The relationship between the TQM system, organisation learning and organisation performance was examined using Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis was conducted to test the hypotheses. Data was collected from 240 respondents (i.e., 118 from the ISO certified and 122 from non-ISO certified organisations). The findings of this study suggested that total quality management system had a significant positive effect on organisation performance and organisation learning mediated the relationship between total quality management system and organisation performance. This research conducted using sample of food and beverage companies in Makassar. The population in this study is Manager or Director, Assistent Manager, Supervisor and Leader. This research indicates when Quality Service variable mediating the relationship between soft TQM, hard TQM to the firm performance, obtained results that soft TQM, hard TQM didn't have an indirect effect toward the firm performance or in the other words, quality service variable failed to function as intervening variable that mediate the influence of soft TQM, hard TQM to the firm performance, so it's a type of no mediation. For soft TQM, hard TQM variables that mediate relationship between role talent with quality service, it's a type of full mediation. So it can be concluded that role talent variable have an indirect efect toward the firm performance.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between innovation and total quality management (TQM), and also to identify the effects of innovation on organizational performance. This research proposes a conceptual model that intends to study several research hypotheses. Design/methodology/approach The data were obtained through an online questionnaire, sent to small- and medium-sized Portuguese companies, having being conducted the study based on responses received from 287 valid questionnaires, and using a multivariate statistical analysis for statistical development. Findings The findings indicate that companies that adopt strategies of process innovation get improvements in their performance, both operationally and financially, while product innovation only provides improvements in the financial performance of organizations. It was also found that TQM practices encourage the definition of innovation strategies of products and processes. On the other hand, it was found that only companies that adopt innovation strategies of their processes promote the adoption of TQM practices, and there is a statistically significant relationship between product innovation and the implementation of TQM practices. Originality/value This research analyzed the dimensions studied in different aspects. It considered product innovation and process innovation, and with respect to performance, this dimension was analyzed through two different perspectives, namely, financial performance and operational performance. This research also provides a particular contribution to the literature with the analysis of the interdependencies between innovation and TQM in small- and medium-sized Portuguese companies.
