This research was conducted at Special Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit with the title Effect of Work-Family Conflict and Work Stress on Investigator Performance through Motivation as an Intervening Variable. The formulations of the problems are: (1) how do work-family conflict and work stress affect the motivation of investigators; (2) how do work-family conflict and work stress affect the performance of investigators; (3) how do work motivation affect the performance of investigators; and (4) how do work-family conflict and work stress affect the performance of investigators. This research is a quantitative research, carried out in a cross-sectional manner, using the method of causality by conducting hypothesis testing. The data used are primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to 139 respondents. Data analysis uses a structural equation model or Structural Equation Model (SEM) with data processing using Partial Least Square (PLS) version 3. This analysis is used to determine how much influence the independent variables are Work Family-Conflict and Job Stress on the dependent variable are Investigator Performance and Work Motivation. The results showed that: (1) work-family conflict and work stress have a negative and significant effect on the motivation of investigators; (2) work-family conflict and work stress have a negative and significant effect on the performance of investigators; (3) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the investigators; and (4) work-family conflict and work stress have a negative and significant effect on the performance of investigators through work motivation.

Keywords: Work-Family Conflict, Job Stress, Motivation, Investigator Performance.

The shortage and aging of drivers are not problems limited to the truck industry, but are common in the broader commercial motor vehicle (CMV) industry of Korea. This study investigates the relationships between work situation, work–family conflict, depression, and work engagement of taxi, bus, and truck drivers. We extracted 512 CMV drivers from the 5th Korea Working Conditions Survey. A structural equation model (SEM) was used to investigate the impact of a work situation or work–family conflict on depression and work engagement. Results showed that 38.9% of all respondents had symptoms of depression. In the SEM, a poor work situation (standardized path coefficient = 0.250) and work–family conflict (0.117) significantly affected depression. ‘Enough time’ and ‘feeling well’ were influential variables of work situation. ‘Responsibility’ and ‘concentration’ were influential variables of work–family conflict. Additionally, depression affected work engagement (0.524). ‘Vigor’ and ‘dedication’ were influential variables of work engagement. These results show that the relationships between work situation, work–family conflict, depression, and work engagement of CMV drivers are intricately linked.

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of role conflict on employee job satisfaction with job stress as a mediation variable at PT. Jombang Intermedia Press (Jawa Pos Radar Jombang). The research used explanatory research with a quantitative approach to explain relationship variables through hypothesis testing. This study uses questionnaires which is distributed to 30 respondents of PT. Jombang Intermedia Pers (Radar Jombang) with saturated sampling method. The analysis method uses SEM (Structural Equation Model) with PLS (Partial Least Square) 3 . The result of data analysis known has significant positive influence between role conflict on work stress. But, role conflict has a positive effect on job satisfaction, work stress positively influence to job satisfaction, while work stress is not able to mediate between role conflict to job satisfaction.

This research has purpose to analyze those reaction over work family conflict to organizational commitment with work stress and work discipline as mediating variable. Respondents in this research were all female who works as permanent employees at YPK Mandiri Menteng Hospital as many as 103 employees. The analytical method based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The findings statement were work stress and work discipline has capable to mediate those partial reaction which occurs on work-family conflict to organizational commitment. Work-family conflict has beneficial and significant reaction over work stress, work stress has negative and significant over organizational commitment, work-family conflict has negative and significant reaction against organizational commitment, work-family conflict has negative and significant impact to work discipline, and work discipline has an positive affects and remarkable against organizational commitment.

High company performance can be achieved if all elements in the company are well integrated, and are able to carry out their roles according to the needs of employees. The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine (1) competence, (2) work motivation, (3) employee performance, and (4) the effect of competence and work motivation on employee performance. This type of research is descriptive and verification using explanatory survey research methods, and to test the hypotheses of this research will be analyzed using a structural equation model (Structural Equation Model, SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) alternative method using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of testing the first hypothesis show that there is a significant correlation between competence and work motivation at the Ariyanti Education Foundation. The results of the second hypothesis show that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Ariyanti Education Foundation. The third hypothesis shows that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Ariyanti Education Foundation. The fourth hypothesis shows that competence and work motivation together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Ariyanti Education Foundation. So it is clear that competence, work motivation and employee performance are interrelated. This must be considered because there is a mutually influencing relationship between the three. So that the development of competence and good work motivation will be able to improve the performance of these employees.

In this modern era, the phenomenon of husband and wife who both work to meet the needs of households are common. But not infrequently, this condition actually causes problems in the household. On the other hand, SPG is also faced with Job Demands. In carrying out its duties, an SPG is also required to achieve sales targets that have been determined by the company. Research conducted at PT. Arina Multikarya Denpasar which is one of human resourceservice company in Denpasar. AMK currently has 630 employees and research respondents focused on employees who are married status, as many as 100 people SPG because they tend to experience work family conflict and work stress that impact on job satisfaction. Based on the results of research on SPG PT. AMK Denpasar, we found that work family conflict has a significant positive effect on job stress, job stress has a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, work family conflict has no effect on job satisfaction, and work stress can mediate the influence of work family conflicton job satisfaction.
