Because resistance of two-dimensional position sensitive detector's (PSD) photo surface is not absolute uniformity that its output is nonlinear. It is this feature enables the PSD difficult to measure small displacement. In order to solve this problem, BP neural network is proposed to solve the problem of PSD nonlinear correction after the study of traditional nonlinear correction method; BP neural network would have a strong ability of nonlinear mapping after training, and it can approach arbitrarily contact function by arbitrary precision, and MATLAB neural networking boxes can simulate BP neural network easily. Simulation and verification indicate that the method has a remarkable effect in solving nonlinear problems, and it can meet system requirements.

An online resistance grain moisture detector is designed, based on the model of the relationship between measurement frequency and grain moisture and the nonlinear correction method of temperature. The detector consists of lower computer, the core function of which is the sensing of grain resistance values which is based on V/F conversion, and upper computer, the core function of which is the conversion of moisture and frequency and the nonlinear correction of temperature. The performance of the online moisture detector is tested in a self-designed experimental system; the test and analysis results indicate that the precision and stability of the detector can reach the level of the similar products, which can be still improved.

We described two clinical cases of ortho-k lenses fitting in patients with “non-typical” corneal curvature/diameter ratio. The main goal was to acknowledge effective and safe use of this myopia correction method in patients with corneal diameter greater than 11 mm. Individual approach to each patient is the key to a successful and safe ortho-k lenses fitting.
