During the process of health behavior change, individuals pass different phases characterized by different demands and challenges that have to be mastered. To overcome these demands successfully, phase-specific self-efficacy beliefs are important. The present study distinguishes between task self-efficacy, maintenance self-efficacy, and recovery self-efficacy. These phase-specific beliefs were studied in a sample of 484 cardiac patients during rehabilitation treatment and at follow-up 2 and 4 months after discharge to predict physical exercise at 4 and 12 months follow-up. The three phase-specific self-efficacies showed sufficient discriminant validity and allowed for differential predictions of intentions and behavior. Persons in the maintenance phase benefited more from maintenance self-efficacy in terms of physical exercise than persons not in the maintenance phase. Those who had to resume their physical exercise after a health related break profited more from recovery self-efficacy in terms of physical exercise than persons who were continuously active. Implications for possible interventions are discussed.

Objectives: Facing the rapid spread of NCP in the world, it is particularly important to improve students' immunity and resistance through physical exercise. Methods: This paper investigates the physical exercise behavior of college students by means of literature investigation, expert interview, questionnaire survey and behavior analysis. Results: Under the NCP, there are individual differences in the enthusiasm of college students to participate in physical exercise; the self-efficacy of male and female students participating in physical exercise is low, and girls are lower than boys; boys' expectation of results is higher than girls'; the self-adjustment ability of boys is higher than that of girls. There is a negative correlation between students' participation perception barrier and participation enthusiasm. Conclusions:Home exercise is training for the public during the NCP and special weather conditions. By creating a strong atmosphere of physical exercise and sports culture, vigorously publicizing and popularizing sports knowledge and exercise effects, carrying out personalized physical education, reducing perceptual barriers and adjusting physical exercise plans, students' enthusiasm for participating in physical exercise is mobilized to improve students' physical health.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the association between physical exercise and creative thinking. A systematic review approach was employed by searching PubMed, Google Scholar and PsychInfo databases. Among the evaluated 13 studies, 92% indicated a beneficial relationship. However, 77% were vulnerable to moderate-high risk for methodological bias, suggesting adherence to standardized and controlled research initiatives should be promoted. There appears to be weak to modest support for acute, moderate-intensity exercise to benefit creativity. Exercise timing relative to creativity assessment protocols should be addressed and further detailed. Creativity scoring procedures must be refined, and an increased focus on the motivational components of exercise may help guide researchers in measuring creative thoughts and behavior. Broader concluding claims that creativity, in general, is improved or impaired by exercise, is as problematic as sweeping statements that exercise improves or impairs a measure as dynamic as intelligence. Scientific inquiries must specify precisely which outcome characteristics are changing in line with research interventions. This review identifies several fallible linkages between physical activity and creativity. Too few studies were conducted on strong methodological foundations, perpetuating the risk for undermining or inaccurately inflating the potential association between exercise and creative thinking behavior.

With the rapid development of urbanization and industrialization, there are a series of ecological environment problems. Ecological environment is one of the basic environmental elements for human survival, and physical exercise also needs to be carried out in a certain appropriate environment. In particular, outdoor physical exercise, more need to have a good ecological environment as a guarantee. This paper discusses the feasibility of outdoor sports as a means of education from the perspectives of ecosystem and behavior. In terms of theoretical analysis, on the basis of fully understanding the research status of outdoor sports at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the concepts and theories related to outdoor sports, and makes an in-depth discussion on the content of outdoor sports. This paper makes a theoretical analysis on the development of outdoor sports in Colleges and universities. At the same time, this paper discusses that carrying out outdoor sports among college students is in line with the needs of cultivating all-round development people in higher physical education. This paper holds that outdoor sports are closely related to environmental factors. Improving the ecological environment is conducive to the cultivation of a good and positive way of life for college students of physical education.
