The article deals with the legal significance of medical records management in the form of electronic document flow. Proper medical records management, which is necessary for the registration of the diagnostic and treatment process at all stages and for control of the quality of medical care delivery, is basis for evaluating of the organization of medical care and quality of its delivery.

Improving the quality of medical care is a priority in countries with developed and developing health care system. There are various approaches to improve the quality and safety of patient’s care, as well as various strategies to encourage hospitals to achieve this goal. The purpose of the presented literature review was to analyze existing experience of the implementation of technology of supportive supervision in health care facilities to improve the quality of hospital care delivery. The data sources for publication were obtained from the following medical databases: PubMed, Cochrane Library, Medscape, e-library, and books on the topic of the review written by experts. The article discusses the results of the research studies demonstrating the successes and failures of supportive supervision technology application. Implementation of supportive supervision in medical facilities based on generalized experience of different countries is a promising direction in improving the quality of medical care delivery. This technology opens up opportunities to improve skills and work quality of the staff at pediatric hospitals in the Russian Federation.

Correct registration of primary medical documentation is very important for storage of diagnostic information, the treatment plan, information about the carrying out of medical manipulations for the elimination of dentofacial anomalies, for examination of quality of medical care in conflict situations. Medical card of the orthodontic patient (form 043- 1/у), approved by order of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation On approval of unified forms of medical records used in medical organizations providing medical care in outpatient conditions and procedures for their filling from 15.12.2014, №834 is the main document of the orthodontist. At the moment, two years after the release of the order, you need to find out whether approved new medical report form in hospitals with orthodontic care, to determine the property of filling as the main instrument used for examination of quality of medical care provided. The article presents the results of the retrospective analysis of medical cards of the patients receiving orthodontic treatment in the dental clinic at Ryazan State Medical University. Found that detailed and properly designed, only 16,0% of medical cards. Orthodontists don't pay enough attention to the medical history, examination of patients, the conduct of clinical trials and the use of special additional methods of examination of patients, such as cephalometry and functional diagnostics.

Maternal mortality remains unacceptably high despite both local and international programs carried at reducing the incidence. Nigeria suffers from 800 maternal death per 100,000 births. This study examines the extent to which cultural practices and quality of medical care determines maternal mortality in Calabar, Cross River State. Using the survey research design, data were collected from 400 women aged between 15 and 49 from Calabar using a self-developed structured questionnaire. The participants were selected using cluster and purposive sampling technique. Data collected from the field was analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression analyses at 0.05 confidence level. Result from the analysis revealed that uncivilized cultural practices lead to high maternal mortality. 75.64 per cent of the participant reported cases of complications during birth in the hands of traditional birth attendants. cultural practices account for 49 per cent of the variation in maternal mortality. Also, result revealed that poor care delivery or quality of medical care leads to high maternal mortality. 54.14 per cent of the participants reported that the cost of medical care for a pregnant woman in the hospital is too expensive. 69.43 per cent reported there have been deaths as a result of lack of care in hospitals. Based on these findings There is need for the government and its health ministry to increase the number of primary health centres in the nation as well as strengthen this health centres to collect high-quality data to respond to the needs and priority of women and girls amongst others.

The most common errors in the collection of information, the diagnosis and the treatment, identified during the expertise of the quality of care by the assessment of patient medical records, as well as comments on the often-occurring defects in the preparation of medical records are listed.

Maintaining medical records is one of the most important responsibilities in the medical activity of medical and preventive institutions, regardless of their departmental affiliation and form of ownership. Constant improvement of the technology of medical care requires a more effective system of medical record keeping. Computing equipment currently used in medical practice makes it possible to introduce new forms of documents that are convenient and easy to process statistically.

The most important part of the modern health care system is nursing. Nurses are a huge human resource with real potential opportunities in the context of modernizing the domestic healthcare. This article presents the results of a survey of nurses of the regional narcological dispensary. Analysis of a time-based study of the main types of functional responsibilities of outpatient nurses in the dispensary Department. This study may affect organizational activities of a specialized drug treatment nurse. The purpose of this study is to improve the organization of the nursing activities in a medical organization that provides specialized medical care. Proper organization of the nurses’ work contributes to high involvement in the treatment process, improving the quality of medical care, and motivation for active professional development. Effective professional activity of the nursing staff is aimed to meeting the needs of patients in affordable and acceptable medical care.
