The economy of any country depends on its ability to conserve and regenerate energy. Therefore, it is a key element for the development of any country. Every second its supply is rapidly becoming exhausted in this fast and busy moving world. The continuous and dynamic rise in the world’s population has a great impact on energy crisis. Due to this, an optimal method of utilising energy needs to be developed. For instance, eco-friendly solutions for vehicles. An effective generation of power can be obtained with three steps, one as linear motion to rotary and again rotary motion to produce electricity. Owing to this concept, energy can be preserved, and its implementation is essential for current situation considering a high rate of world’s population.

The sugarcane industry for a long time has focused only on the cane juice, its extraction and conversion to sugar. Bagasse was considered a residue and burnt inefficiently to generate steam and power. In the last decades, bagasse gradually started to be converted into energy in a more efficient way, supplying all the sugar industry energy needs (power, and steam) and, in some cases, significant excess electricity has been exported to the grid, becoming another important source of revenue. This motivated several studies of more advanced energy generation systems to boost energy exports. In more recent years, technologies called 2nd and 3rd generation have taken over the scene with many options, promising to convert biomass into more valuable products such as biofuels, chemicals, fertilisers, pellets, etc. Unfilled expectations and opportunities are rising. On the other hand, these technologies are competing for the same biomass, and this has to be considered. The industry has started to question ‘which way to go’, strategy and investment wise. The present study provides a broad scenario for the biomass availability, and its employment, with a close view to the main processes and products that might have an important role in the future of the biomass in the sugarcane industry.

ABSTRACT After brewing roasted coffee, spent coffee grounds (SCGs) are generated being one of the daily wastes emerging in dominant countries with high rate and big quantity. Escherichia coli BW25113 wild-type strain, mutants with defects in hydrogen (H2)-producing/oxidizing four hydrogenases (Hyd) (ΔhyaB ΔhybC, ΔhycE, ΔhyfG) and septuple mutant (ΔhyaB ΔhybC ΔhycA ΔfdoG ΔldhA ΔfrdC ΔaceE) were investigated by measuring change of external pH, bacterial growth and H2 production during the utilization of SCG hydrolysate. In wild type, H2 was produced with rate of 1.28 mL H2 (g sugar)−1 h−1 yielding 30.7 mL H2 (g sugar)−1 or 2.75 L (kg SCG)−1 during 24 h. In septuple mutant, H2 production yield was 72 mL H2 (g sugar)−1 with rate of 3 mL H2 (g sugar)−1 h−1. H2 generation was absent in hycE single mutant showing the main role of Hyd-3 in H2 production. During utilization of SCG wild type, specific growth rate was 0.72 ± 0.01 h−1 with biomass yield of 0.3 g L−1. Genetic modifications and control of external parameters during growth could lead to prolonged and enhanced microbiological H2 production by organic wastes, which will aid more efficiently global sustainable energy needs resulting in diversification of mobile and fixed energy sources.

Energy is an important aspect in our day to day life. It is important to save energy wherever possible that to electric energy. We are suffering from electric energy crisis now-a-days. In order to save electric energy alternate system is chosen and it is implemented which would save electric energy. Wasting energy for supplementary or supporting works like machine door opening and closing considered as uneconomical. Energy consuming system consumes lot of energy for supporting works. In this energy saving concept two different types of system can be coupled to work as a single system which would save much energy than before. Our concept discusses about the same. Energy wastage for operating CNC machine door is taken for consideration in our work and analysis has been done on it. A new hydraulic operating system is proposed to overcome the difficulties.

The special section tube was machined by special NC reconstruction according to constituents of rolling motion. The rotation of driving and driven roller was controlled directly by servo motors and the rolling machining was controlled by converting linear motion into rotary motion. The principle, control and implementation and the analysis of the bending deformation regularity and influencing factors affecting the uniformly accelerated motion and measures were elaborated. The structural reconstruction and the parameters conversion and the reason why the machining accuracy improved were analysizedanalyzed. The NC reconstruction in rolling machining of the special section tube had good effects on the practical application and the function and application scope of NC technology were expanded

Abstract Electricity consumption in Padang Lawas Regency has increased every year, namely 59,962,000 kWh in 2018, and reached 74,060320,5 kWh in 2020. This increase is in line with the population growth rate so that it also has an impact on land availability. Forecasting electricity consumption absolutely must be done because it greatly affects the distribution and availability of electrical energy. There are three problems related to electrical energy resources. First, the availability of electricity will decrease as demand increases. The second is the increase in population which has an impact on improving the quality of life of the community and the availability of electricity. Third, the increase in land conversion is increasingly massive, causing population density and energy needs in the region to increase. For this reason, it is necessary to project the need for electrical energy for the population and land conversion in Padang Lawas Regency in 2021-2050. The objectives of this study can be used as a basis and choice for policy and strategy making in regional development planning by the Padang Lawas Regional Government. This is done so that the problem of electricity availability can be resolved. This research was conducted using the PowerSim Studio 10 application by simulating a dynamic system model involving several variables that influence each other. The results showed that population variables affect land requirements and total energy consumption. Analysis of electricity availability in Padang Lawas Regency until 2050 will experience an increase in electricity consumption accompanied by an increase in population and land conversion. Based on the results of the simulation scenario, the availability of electricity in Padang Lawas Regency can meet the total electricity consumption needs until 2050, either with or without intervention.

The article describes a device for transferring manipulation objects using a vacuum suction cup. The suction cup is carried by the arm of the swing mechanism. The swing mechanism is realized by transforming the linear motion from a pneumatic pistonless drive to a rotary motion. The rack and pinion transformation block was used for this. The article describes the retrofit procedure of the originally designed structure, which had unsatisfactory parameters. In addition, the issue of saving the compressed air needed to generate the vacuum in the suction cup was addressed. Modification of the circuit can be performed by the manipulation cycle without the need for permanent activation of the ejector. The solution in its current form is used for the educational purposes of the department in the training of skills in the deployment of pneumatic mechanisms and in their programming.
