scholarly journals Real-Time Hindrance Detection Prototype in Internal Atmosphere Expending Ultrasonic Sensors

Currently, ultrasonic sensors are extensively used in voluminous applications, for instance: robotics solicitations, unmanned vehicles, medical presentations, etc. In which remoteness measurement of an object is one of the most important issues. This can be achieved using a variety of sensors: Optical, Radar, IR, Ultrasonic, etc. Measuring distance using ultrasonic sensors might be the cheapest and its reliability is probably acceptable. In this paper we talk about the employments of these sensors to plan a convenient gadget helping the outwardly debilitated stay away from obstructions on their ways by sounds.

The obstacle avoidance system is an important part of the intelligent inspection robot. According to the special environmental requirements for substation inspection robot, the inspection robot obstacle avoidance detection system was designed. The system takes MCU as the controller core, selects many sets of ultrasonic sensors to detect the obstacle information around the robot, designs the transmitting and receiving circuit of the ultrasonic signal, and completes the system software program. In consideration of the substations effect of EMI to the electronic equipments, when designing circuit, using a large of filter circuit, improve systems anti-interference performance, realize real-time and veracity of measurement. Using on substation shows that the system run steadily, have high measurement precision, its important for improving the robot using on substation.

The methods for autonomous navigation of a robot in a real world environment is an area of interest for current researchers. Although there have been a variety of models developed, there are problems with regards to the integration of sensors for navigation in an outdoor environment like moving obstacles, sensor and component accuracy. This paper details an attempt to develop an autonomous robot prototype using only ultrasonic sensors for sensing the environment and GPS/ GSM and a digital compass for position and localization. An algorithm for the navigation based on reactive behaviour is presented. Once the robot has navigated to its final location based on remote access by the owner, it surveys the geographical region and uploads the real time images to the owner using an API that is developed for the Raspberry PI’s kernel.

This research designed a monitoring system on dam by using fuzzy tahani method based on Microcontroller. This tool is designed to be used as monitoring on the Katulampa Dam. This tool consists of Raspberry module Pi 3 model B, ultrasonic sensors, resistors and android. The monitoring system on the dam is used to inform the user/citizen when the water in the dam has exceeded the specified height limit and notify the user of the appliance if there is a possibility of flooding, so that residents around the dam can be alert and avoid danger caused by flood . So that with the tool is expected to provide solutions to residents around the dam and residents whose homes are near the dam river flow in case of sudden danger or flood within 24 hours in real time and can minimize casualties due to flooding. By using application module on android that can give notification sms to appliance user and citizen, hence citizen around the dam will be more secure and protected from danger caused by flood and can minimize victim or other loss caused by flood.
