This research designed a monitoring system on dam by using fuzzy tahani method based on Microcontroller. This tool is designed to be used as monitoring on the Katulampa Dam. This tool consists of Raspberry module Pi 3 model B, ultrasonic sensors, resistors and android. The monitoring system on the dam is used to inform the user/citizen when the water in the dam has exceeded the specified height limit and notify the user of the appliance if there is a possibility of flooding, so that residents around the dam can be alert and avoid danger caused by flood . So that with the tool is expected to provide solutions to residents around the dam and residents whose homes are near the dam river flow in case of sudden danger or flood within 24 hours in real time and can minimize casualties due to flooding. By using application module on android that can give notification sms to appliance user and citizen, hence citizen around the dam will be more secure and protected from danger caused by flood and can minimize victim or other loss caused by flood.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) is the latest pandemic that hit human health in 2019. Wear a face mask in public areas to decrease the spread of the coronavirus. This work presents real-time face mask detection with facial temperature measures for the COVID-19 indoor monitoring system. Detecting people using ultrasonic sensors, face mask detection, and facial temperature measure using Grid-Eye Sensor are three modules applied in the proposed system. We also evaluated the proposed monitoring system in the real environment and confirmed the accuracy of 98.8% of mask detection.

Road infrastructure is expected to face extreme pressure due to ageing and climatic extremes [1] as evident by recent cases of flash floods followed by drought periods. Among the most vulnerable elements of civil infrastructure are considered to be the road embankments that are not expected to withstand the prospective flood extremes. Seepage and internal erosion patterns inside the body of embankments are difficult to be assessed with conventional methods (e.g. visual inspections) and therefore go undetected leading to irreversible effects with major disruption and costs to road asset owners and maintainers. Flood-induced hazards can cause sudden collapse of bridge infrastructure without prior warning, and with significant socio-economic impacts [2]. Various sensor applications have focused on the development of monitoring systems to assess in real-time hydro and geo-hazards [2, 3, 4, 5]

This study focuses on the development and application of a real-time geo-monitoring system at a pilot road embankment in Scotland (UK) to remotely assess the evolving characteristics of hydro-hazards. The system will also provide early warning of such hazards and timely information to asset owner for proactive actions and early maintenance to avoid irreversible and costly major rehabilitation activities.

[1] Michalis, P., Konstantinidis, F. and Valyrakis, M. Along with the times, recently there have been found tool to facilitate human’s work. Electronics is one of technology to facilitate human’s work. One of human desire is being safe, so that people think to make a tool which can monitor the surrounding condition without being monitored with people’s own eyes. Public awareness of the underground water channels currently felt still very little so frequent floods. To avoid the flood disaster monitoring needs to be done to underground water channels. This tool is controlled via a web browser. for the components used in this monitoring system is the Raspberry Pi technology where the system can take pictures in real time with the help of Logitech C170 webcam camera. web browser and Raspberry Pi make everyone can control the devices around with using smartphone, laptop, computer and ipad. This research is expected to be able to help the users in knowing the blockage on water flow and monitored around in realtime.

Cardiovascular disease is one of the major diseases that threaten the human health. But the existing electrocardiograph (ECG) monitoring system has many limitations in practical application. In order to monitor ECG in real time, a portable ECG monitoring system based on the Android platform is developed to meet the needs of the public. The system uses BMD101 ECG chip to collect and process ECG signals in the Android system, where data storage and waveform display of ECG data can be realized. The Bluetooth HC-07 module is used for ECG data transmission. The abnormal ECG can be judged by P wave, QRS bandwidth, and RR interval. If abnormal ECG is found, an early warning mechanism will be activated to locate the user’s location in real time and send preset short messages, so that the user can get timely treatment, avoiding dangerous occurrence. The monitoring system is convenient and portable, which brings great convenie to the life of ordinary cardiovascular users.
