The existing security systems are secure but are not smart enough to handle arbitrary scenarios leading to many false triggers of the alert system. Furthermore, these systems require constant human intervention which isdifficult to achieve.They are also vulnerable as they contain many loopholesand the sensors used are easily manipulatable. The proposed system tries to solve this problem in an efficient and a smart way by the use of sensors, AI and IoT which makes the system robust and resistant againstattacks. The system implements advanced face detection via Single Shot Detection and face recognition via Inception Neural Network for recognition of object in a fast and accurate way. This helps the system act according to the situation, thus preventing any damage to theregion which implements this system. In this work the proposed system is implemented and tested as a Home Security System. The system can also be extended to work in other areas like banks, data hubs, museums etc.The overall accuracy of the system was recorded to be 97.95%.

Face recognition is a method of personal identification using the personal characteristics of an individual to decide the identification of a person. The method of human face recognition consists basically of two levels, namely face detection and face recognition. There are three types of methods that are currently popular in the developed face recognition pattern, those are Eigen faces algorithm, Fisher faces algorithm and CNN neural network for face recognition

Home security system plays a predominant role in the modern era. The purpose of the security systems is to protect the members of the family from intruders. The main idea behind this system is to provide security for residential areas. In today’s world securing our home takes a major role in the society. Surveillance from home to huge industries, plays a significant role in the fulfilment of our security. There are many machine learning algorithms for home security system but Haar-cascade classifier algorithm gives a better result when compared with other machine learning algorithm This system implements a face recognition and face detection using Haar-cascade classifier algorithm, OpenCV libraries are used for training and testing of the face detection process. In future, face recognition will be everywhere in the world. Face recognition is creating a magic in every field with its advanced technology. Visitor/Intruder monitoring system using Machine Learning is used to monitor the person and find whether the person is a known or unknown person from the captured picture. Here LBPH (Local Binary Pattern Histogram) Face Recognizer is used. After capturing the image, it is compared with the available dataset then their respective name and picture is sent to the specified email to alert the owner.

In the present world the security of the home, banks, shops, etc., are the prime concerns. The traditional security such as Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras are very easy to break and lead to theft. And moreover, the installation cost of the security systems is costlier. To overcome these problems, we are presenting Internet of Things (IoT) based solution where we can setup a smart security system. In this paper, we are proposing the system with the help of face detection and face recognition algorithms to secure our home which gives us the facility of entire surveillance of our buildings remotely and take appropriate action if anything goes wrong. The Camera Serial Interface (CSI) is attached to the Raspberry PI which detects presence of person using Face detection and recognition algorithms. The multiple Raspberry PIs attached in different areas of our buildings are connected to the main Raspberry PI which acts as hub module. If the person is identified as unknown, the information is sent to Hub module which in turn sends the alert message and live video streaming to the user using an app which we developed.

Smart Homes and their development are sky-rocketing in reference to controlling daily objects using voice/gesture/apps, paths which are a free flow of development which researchers tend to be inclined to. But intricate care is also given towards using this technology for developing security and safety systems. Safety and security systems are very important in daily life as they tend to be very helpful in stopping crime. Safety and Security will be achieved by a three-layer security system includes a RFID based detection system and Face Detection. This work deals with lock and home security systems. First, Motion sensors detect movement indoors and outdoors to guard against intruders, protect valuables and more. Thus, if any movement, RFID reader will be activated and database will be scanned to identify the persons who have the access to the home. This enhances the effectiveness of the security system and provides the user with the complete, whole-house protection he needs. An RFID badge can be used to unlock the door and access to the home. Alerts also are received on the smart phone if motion is sensed in a protected area inside or outside; giving the user the information it needs to act quickly. The door can also be remotely locked/unlocked. A microcontroller (ATmega2560) is used to control the entire system, and GSM is used to send alerts to the Smartphone. An Ethernet shield that connects the microcontroller to the database (DB) is also added.

In this paper, we worked on how to control home apparatuses, safety, and security systems utilizing GSM innovation by utilizing a cell phone. We will likewise show that we can control the apparatuses even without a phone by sending an ordinary call. The favorable position of utilizing GSM innovation is that we can handle home appliances from any place in the world. This system permits the proprietor to control the appliances and to get a feedback status of the home apparatuses by sending calls just as through a portable application. For the home security system, we are utilizing an antitheft announcing system that will report the proprietor by sending a message and ringing a call. Likewise, for the security system, when fire or gas spillage is expected to occur, it will also report the proprietor by sending a call. Subsequently, by utilizing GSM innovation, it gives remote access to the gadgets to be controlled.
