Tazkiyah al-nafs is a method of purification of the human soul in the form of internal purification and external formation in order to suppress desires and bad habits that lead to mental health and behavioral disorders. Sufism figures have introduced the method of purification of the soul, including Sheikh Sa'id Hawwa, which further explains Imam al-Ghazali's method of purification of the soul. This article aims to highlight the contribution of this figure in this field and analyse the approach presented by Sheikh Sa'id Hawwa in the method of tazkiyah al-nafs. This study is a qualitative study with content analysis design. The results show that Sheikh Said Hawwa has highlighted the method of tazkiyah al-nafs that is able to educate the human soul to avoid mental health and behavioral disorders. This study can provide early guidance and highlights on the method of purification of the soul based on the Quran and al-sunnah

Abstract Objectives The objective of the study was to investigate how mental health professionals describe and reflect upon different forms of informal coercion. Results In a deductive qualitative content analysis of focus group interviews, several examples of persuasion, interpersonal leverage, inducements, and threats were found. Persuasion was sometimes described as being more like a negotiation. Some participants worried about that the use of interpersonal leverage and inducements risked to pass into blackmail in some situations. In a following inductive analysis, three more categories of informal coercion was found: cheating, using a disciplinary style and referring to rules and routines. Participants also described situations of coercion from other stakeholders: relatives and other authorities than psychiatry. The results indicate that informal coercion includes forms that are not obviously arranged in a hierarchy, and that its use is complex with a variety of pathways between different forms before treatment is accepted by the patient or compulsion is imposed.

Grammatical Metaphor (GM) has become an interesting linguistic issue nowadays especially in the texts of science of technology. Even, the discussion of Grammatical Metaphors has touched other fields’ texts; politics, economics, and even religion. The study aims at: 1) describing deployment of experiential GMs in doctrinal verses of the Bible in Indonesian version, 2) describing deployment of logical GMs in doctrinal verses of the Bible in Indonesian version. To reach up the objectives of the research, the writer employs a qualitative study with content analysis design. The source of data is 50 doctrinal verses Alkitab Terjemahan Baru 1974 in 2014 edition. The theory underlying this research is Systemic Functional Linguistics. To identify and categorize grammatical metaphors from the data source, the researcher employs the Stratal Model proposed by Halliday and Martin (2015), while the data were analyzed by Content Analysis with Conceptual design proposed by Carley and Dale (2012). The findings show that 1) 69 experiential GMs from 8 types are well deployed in doctrinal verses while 5 types are not identified in Indonesian language. 2) 51 logical GMs from 3 types are well deployed in biblical doctrinal verses in Indonesian language. Due to the high frequency of ideational GMs the texts have the features of objectivity, impersonality, technicality and practicality.

Misrepresentation is one of the causes of the defect of the contractor's willingness to enter into a contract. Misrepresentation is a common law principle that has been applied in commonwealth countries including Malaysia. Therefore, this study was made to analyze the misrepresentation legislation that applies in Malaysia. This study is a qualitative study using content analysis design that will analyze the legal provisions found in the legislation in Malaysia. The results of the study found that there are several statutes governing misrepresentation in contracts in Malaysia, however, most statutes are specific to certain contracts. Therefore, misrepresentation is still governed by the Contracts Act 1950 if it is not bound by any other statute. However, the misrepresentation provisions in the Contracts Act 1950 still need to be improved to ensure that misrepresentation legislation can be properly controlled.

Many studies have shown that the COVID-19 pandemic can have a great influence on mental health. However, there is still not enough research to fully understand how people suffering from schizophrenia experience crisis situations such as a pandemic. This qualitative study aims to explore this subject. Ten outpatients suffering from schizophrenia were interviewed in a semi-structured format using an interview designed by the authors for the purpose of this study. The interviews were transcribed, and a conventional qualitative content analysis was conducted. The general themes identified in the content analysis were organized into four categories: first reactions to information about the pandemic; subjective assessment of the pandemic’s impact on patients’ mental health; patients’ attitudes towards the temporary limitations and lockdowns; psychiatric treatment and psychotherapy during the pandemic. A variety of different experiences were observed, but the general conclusion arising from the study suggests that the majority of the interviewed patients coped quite well with the pandemic and that the observed reactions were similar to the reactions of other groups described in the literature. The study also confirmed the importance of the continuity of psychiatric care for patients with schizophrenia.
