PT. XYZ is a company that focuses on construction with ready mix concrete product (cast). The problem faced by the company is that the schedule is not suitable for machine maintenance activities so that it still results in high maintenance costs incurred by the company. By using the markov chain method can plan maintenance time in order to reduce downtime so as to minimize maintenance costs. The results obtained by the proposal for the company are for proposal I it takes 49.78 hours = 50 hours at a cost of Rp. 16,984,605, the cost savings of Rp. 73,545,395 (81.24%). Schedule for each machine such as wheel loaders every 14,009 hours, batching plant machines every 16,604 hours, truck mixer machines every 19,168 hours. Scheduling the second proposal will take 26.62 hours = 27 hours at a cost of Rp. 9,080,664, the cost savings of Rp. 81,449,336 (89.97%). Schedule for every machine such as wheel loaders every 7,490 hours, batching plant machines every 8,877 hours, mixer truck machines every 10,248 hours. Judging from the results obtained, the recommendation given is

Supply is one of the most important factors for the company, but there are still so many companies who don’t understand about how to monitoring their supplies so there will be not too much or too little supplies for them to manage. Some of the important things are to know how many supplies that a company should prepare to fulfill the needs of supply for the next period. This essay is aimed to investigate whether there was a shift/moving towards the supplies and the factor, which trigger the moving, how many supplies that the company should have and the cost that they have to pay to fulfill the supplies. The result shows that there was a moving of supplies, which has been cause by some factors. The kind of research that being used is a descriptive research, with a quantitative data. And the methods that being used is the case study, The point of this research is because of the moving of supplies that has been caused by the age of the supplies, the company have to calculate how many supplies that they should have to fulfill the needs of the next period.

The complication of inventory is a crucial problem for the company because inventory is one of the valuable assets for the company. The existence of inventory control is needed so the inventory levels that exist within the company is not in very large (optimal) therefore the costs incurred by the company can be suppressed as minimum as possible. PT NM is a company engaged in spare parts, especially branded cars in West Jakarta. The level of inventories of goods owned by  these  companies is high because The company did not want to experience stock out of stock but on one side the stock is large enough so the costs incurred  by  companies  such as storage costs of goods becomes even greater. In order to control inventory levels, this study uses a Markov Chain method that can identify optimal inventory level and the expectation of profits earned per month by making estimates of the future demand a previous demand. From the research results shows expectation of profit of each state starting from state 2 to state 10 is Rp 13.146,98921; Rp 12.246,94064; Rp 11.346,61466; Rp 10.444,64569; Rp 9.534,074035; Rp 8.584,408534; Rp 7.484,413248; Rp 5.913,288143; Rp 3.211,609986,-. While the profit expectations that earned by the company per month is Rp 694.233,333, and the optimal inventory level is 50.

and eliminate waste. CV. Hidup Baru is a company that manufactures Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) systems make to stock. The company set a number of production based on rough estimates of consumer demand in the previous periods. This causes the total production exceeds the amount of consumer demand for 6 periods within the range of the last 12 periods derived from historical data of the company. According to these data, too, can be seen an average of the final product inventory in the warehouse at 280% of the final product in each period. Stacking sizable inventory of this course will cause the cost of carrying cost is high. Therefore, this study aimed to optimize the amount of inventory in the warehouse by using the concept of lean manufacturing, in which the system uses the reorder point (amount of safety stock) as the minimum inventory that should be there in the shed, so companies can plan production quantities which should be generated in the next period. The results showed that with the proposed inventory system obtained total cost savings reached 716.100 cardboard carrying cost and inventory turnover value of 2 times is also larger than the current inventory system. Keywords: Lean Manufacturing, Safety Stock, Carrying Costs, Inventory Turnover

This Reseachis aimed to determinethe calculation of immature plant cost based on International Accounting Standard (IAS) 41 and PSAK 16 in PT. Perkebunan Mitra Ogan (RNI GROUP) in Palembang. This research uses descriptive method with the data obtained is primary and secondary data. The biological asset consist if two immature plants (TBM) and yielding plant (TM). Immature plants is plant that has not yielded results, still young, has never flowered or not enought age to produce, while the plant produces a plant that is ready to be harvested. Cost of immature palntation costs such as land preparation, maintenance, fertilization, grras cutting and maintenance costs. The cost of the plant has not, the yield will be reclassified into the yield crop (TM) it aims to add value from the biological asset it self. In a company the measurement of biological assets based on cost (historical value), while in International Accounting Standard (IAS) 41 using fair value. The results show that fair value of the plant has not been produced by International Accounting Standard (IAS) 41 is smaller than the value the cost of immature crops according to PSAK 16 it is quoted in PT. Perkebunan Mitra Ogan (RNI GROUP) no aktive market for biological assets.

For this time, machine and tools are much wear in some factory to support human in produce something. And so machine and tools it self are an object which be able to damaged, then be needed to take care of those thing in a continue manner. In a logic manner could be arithmeticed that with continued machine treatment will more decrease the cost of factory every periode than the consequence cost of machine damage. Especially in order to get a good productivity, good quality and low cost level, so one of method to prevent this thing is using Markov Chain method. Base on result analyst, then known that the treatment of Root Washer machine are Korective Treatment Planning on weight status and Prohibition treatment on light in weight and average status. Then the treatment cost motion on Root Whasher machine have a cost judgment result Rp. 492.977,-

The present study examines the effect of agency-level implementation variation on the cost-effectiveness of an evidence-based parent training program (Positive Parenting Program: “Triple P”). Staff from six community-based agencies participated in a five-day training to prepare them to deliver a 12-week Triple P parent training group to caregivers. Prior to the training, administrators and staff from four of the agencies completed a site readiness process intended to prepare them for the implementation demands of successfully delivering the group, while the other two agencies did not complete the process. Following the delivery of each agency’s first Triple P group, the graduation rate and average cost per class graduate were calculated. The average cost-per-graduate was over seven times higher for the two agencies that had not completed the readiness process than for the four completing agencies ($7,811 vs. $1,052). The contrast in costs was due to high participant attrition in the Triple P groups delivered by the two agencies that did not complete the readiness process. The odds of Triple P participants graduating were 12.2 times greater for those in groups run by sites that had completed the readiness process. This differential attrition was not accounted for by between-group differences in participant characteristics at pretest. While the natural design of this study limits the ability to empirically test all alternative explanations, these findings indicate a striking cost savings for sites completing the readiness process and support the thoughtful application of readiness procedures in the early stages of an implementation initiative.

In the realities of modern economy even the best-managed company is not able to avoid threats and bad decisions, that can cause a crisis. Each crisis situation, that a company experiences, generates not only measurable economic costs, but also more difficult to assess and measure costs of a deteriorated reputation. These costs are the result of infringement of interests or failing to satisfy different stakeholders expectations. The aim of this article is an attempt to identify the cost of reputation deterioration in the context of the various interests of stakeholders groups. In the first part, the paper presents the effects of good and bad reputation, the reputation "contamination" path in a crisis situation and a cost analysis caused by it. The second part is empirical, where the identification of crisis situations measurable costs and reputation deterioration based on the examples of three selected companies was performed.

Facility layout is integrated planning of the flow of a product in an operating system to obtain the most effective and efficient interrelation between workers, materials, machinery, and equipment as well as handling and transferring materials. A company engaged in furniture manufacturing has a problem in its production process, namely, the distance between machines is too far so that it affects the cost of handling materials. Distant workstations are found on profile machines, milling machines, measuring machines, cutting machines. Therefore, improvements must be made to the layout of facilities on the production floor so that facility layout is efficient and material handling costs are reduced. The problem-solving approach used is the Graph Method and CRAFT Algorithm. The results of the research show that material handling costs are reduced by 7.58% or Rp. 17,765 using the CRAFT algorithm.
