The inuence of annealing temperature on the structural, morphological, and optical properties of SnO thin lms 2 prepared by spin-coating method has been studied. The samples were thermally annealed at 673 K and 773 K for 2 hrs. Powder XRD analysis of the thin lms annealed at 673 and 773 K shows less intense and broad diffraction peaks. The size of the grains found to increase with annealing temperature. The grain size of the synthesized lm is enhanced due to increasing annealing temperature upto 773 K. The grains are well agglomerated for lms annealed at the higher temperature of 773 K. The transmission spectra of SnO thin lms annealed at the 2 temperatures of 673 and 773 K was analyzed. The percentage of transmittance found to increase from 56 to 91% with an increase in the annealing temperature from room temperature to 773 K. The bandgap energy value (Eg) was calculated and it increases from 3.25 to 3.35 eV with the increase in annealing temperatures.

This research was conducted to analyze the Mg doping concentration effect on the structure, morphology, and optical properties of ZnO thin film prepared using the sol gel spin coating method. The Mg concentration was varied in the mole fraction of 1%, 3%, and 5%. Firstly, ZnO: Mg solution was dropped on a substrate and grown with a rotating speed of 3000 rpm and then annealed at 500 °C for 2 hours. The characterization of thin films' structure, morphology, and optical properties was done using XRD, FESEM, EDX, and UV-VIS spectrophotometer. XRD result showed a polycrystalline structure with three dominant peaks of (100), (002), and (101) plane, hexagonal wurtzite structures. Furthermore, the crystallite size was increased with the increase of Mg doping. FESEM results showed that the 5% ZnO: Mg thin film was the densest and least void from other films. In addition, the results of UV-Vis-NIR analysis showed the highest absorption value at a wavelength of 360-370 nm. The bandgap energy increased at 1% and 3% Mg doping samples but decreased by 5% Mg doping comes from the excess of oxygen in thin film with 5% Mg doping.

Polytriarylamine (PTAA) is a promising yet trending organic semiconductor material in which has unique characteristics that are low-cost fabrication, flexible and stable in room condition. The unique characteristic of PTAA thin films have attracted researchers to explore more on its ability as future green technology solutions. In this works, the effect of annealing temperature towards PTAA thin films are focused. PTAA thin films is fabricated by solution processed technique and sintered onto the glass substrate by spin coating method. The spin coating speed are 1000 RPM to 5000 RPM. The PTAA thin films are further annealed for an hour with temperatures of 80 oC, 120 oC and 150 oC. It is shown that grain size of thin films are increasing as the temperature increased based on XRD analysis. As for 1000 to 5000 RPM, the highest grain size obtain are 26.46 nm, 31.34 nm, 37.19 nm, 39.96 nm and 42.72 nm, respectively. Optical characteristic also reveals that band gap energy value is perpendicular to the increasing in temperature obtain from the UV-Vis spectrum. The results strongly show that annealing temperature had significantly affected both structural and optical properties of PTAA thin films.
