This paper gives the results of experimental researches for producing physical processes of acoustic vibration beats, which are spread in a free and in a diffused field of enclosed air volumes in technical rooms of different types. There are defined general regularities and distinct features of forming the physical processes of acoustic vibration beats. A limited frequency range of beats production which includes two different frequency ranges of dynamic frequency interactions with close values of sound frequencies are found out. Sufficiency of frequency detuning of two independent sources of acoustic radiation which exclude physical process creation of sound frequency beats is defined.

During the design of operations of centerless intermittent grinding of surfaces there is a need to identify the natural frequencies of oscillations of the elements of the technological system of grinding. The method of calculation of rigidity, vibration resistance and forced oscillations of the elements of the circular grinding machine is offered in the article. Carrying out of experimental researches of rigidity of elastic system of the SASL 5AD grinding machine. We conducted preliminary experimental studies to measure the oscillations of various elements of the elastic system of the SASL 5AD grinding machine in the horizontal plane by piezoelectric sensors during grinding with continuous and discontinuous circles with different geometric parameters.

Violation of industrial safety rules during the operation of offshore facilities for the production, storage and transportation of the hydrocarbon raw materials leads in the most cases to pollution of the marine environment with oil and its components. The works on localization and elimination of such pollution are carried out with the help of vessels of the technical support fleet and booms. When developing oil spill response plans at such facilities, a calculated determination of the technical characteristics of vessels and booms is required that are sufficient to carry out the planned activities. The basic design principles for determining the towing capacity of the technical fleet vessels involved in the localization and elimination of oil and oil product spills by trawling methods are given in the article. The calculation is based on theoretical studies performed by the authors of the physical processes occurring during the movement of objects of a mobile trawling order in the sea area. The results obtained during the course of theoretical studies were confirmed by the experimental studies carried out by the authors personally using the real pieces of equipment in the actual development of tasks for training spill containment by trawling. As a result, the empirical dependencies were obtained and experimentally confirmed, which can be used to calculate technical characteristics of the ships as part of the mobile orders and anchor systems as part of stationary orders intended for the localization and elimination of oil pollution. These results can be used, among other things, for the calculated substantiation of the technical characteristics of the technical fleet vessels designed to ensure safety of the offshore facilities for production, storage, and transportation of the hydrocarbon raw materials.

It is given the description of the design and specifications developed in Saratov State Agrarian University plow-blade grader of general purpose PBS-3M aggregated with tractors of traction class 1.4. In the result of experimental researches of the arable unit consisting of the MTZ-82 tractor and the plow PBS-3M on a stubble background of the field with soil of low humidity and high hardness operational and technological indicators of the unit on the main dump processing of the soil are defined.  Studies were conducted in three ways: plough PBS-3M fitted with three frames, fitted with two frames, with removed front frame; fitted with two frames, removed the rear frame. The graphical dependences of the plow traction resistance and the unit performance on the speed of MTZ-82+PBS-3M are presented.

An analysis based on the first kind of Lagranges equations was presented for investigating the vibration and acoustic radiation of underwater finite cylindrical shell with interior plate under multiple excitations. The strain energy and kinetic energy of cylinder and plate were gained by the theory of plates and shells, and the potential energy of excitation and fluid loading was found based on acoustic-vibration coupling, and the connection conditions of plate and cylinder were expressed by Lagrange multipliers, then the vibro-acoustic equations of finite cylinder with interior plate under shafting excitation were established. The influences of excitations and plates position to the vibro-acoustic characteristics were studied by the equations. The results show that the frequency components of plate-shell structure are more complex. For the double excitations on plate, the distance between excitations is larger, the average velocity and sound radiation power are lower, while the radiation efficiency is larger. The modeling and analytical methods adopted in this paper are also available for more complex composite structure.

A theory is developed from first principles which includes all the important physical processes which affect the frequency of the free oscillations of a gas bubble. The components of the damping: viscosity, thermal conduction in the gas, and acoustic radiation are all determined. Numerical results for the damping are given for air bubbles in water. Since there is physical interest in the polytropic exponent, κ, (in pVκ = const.), the value of κ which gives the correct natural frequency is also determined. Numerical results for this κ for air bubbles in water are presented.

AbstractGround-based and short-duration low gravity experiments have been carried out with the use of ultrasonic levitators to study the dynamics of freely suspended liquid drops under the influence of predominantly capillary and acoustic radiation forces. Some of the effects of the levitating field on the shape as well as the fluid flow fields within the drop have been determined. The development and refinement of measurement techniques using levitated drops with size on the order of 2mm in diameter have yielded methods having direct application to experiments in microgravity. In addition, containerless melting, undercooling, and freezing of organic materials as well as low melting metals have provided experimental data and observation on the application of acoustic positioning techniques to materials studies.

The analysis of literature sources on this topic is carried out. It was found that the influence of age on the main strength and deformation parameters has not been studied. The method of experimental researches of coniferous and deciduous species of solid wood of different age at one-time short-term loading along fibers is resulted. To solve the problems, a series of samples of 1 sort of solid wood in the form of prisms with a cross section of 30x30x120 mm were made. The following species of wood were tested: coniferous species - larch, pine, spruce; deciduous - birch, alder, ash. The age of wood was 20, 40, 60 years. At the time of testing, the moisture was 12%. The humidity of the wood was controlled using a moisture meter MD-814. Experimental studies were performed on a servo-hydraulic test machine STM-100 under a rigid load regime (by increasing the displacements of the press plate of the test machine). Based on the obtained results, complete diagrams of deformation of deciduous (birch, alder, ash) and coniferous (larch, pine, spruce) species of solid wood at different ages (60, 40, 20 years) were constructed. The number of twin samples that were tested was 126 pieces. The main strength and deformation parameters were determined experimentally, in particular the average critical deformations of all studied wood species and the corresponding average maximum stresses. It is established that in the case of a rigid test regime, the deformation diagram of solid wood necessarily has two branches - ascending and descending. That is, the samples work in the so-called supercritical stage of work. It was found that the age of wood directly affects the strength and deformability of solid wood. In particular, with increasing age from 20 to 60 years, the strength and deformability of deciduous and coniferous species of solid wood increases significantly. Based on the test results, conclusions were drawn. Further research on this topic is highlighted.
