It is given the description of the design and specifications developed in Saratov State Agrarian University plow-blade grader of general purpose PBS-3M aggregated with tractors of traction class 1.4. In the result of experimental researches of the arable unit consisting of the MTZ-82 tractor and the plow PBS-3M on a stubble background of the field with soil of low humidity and high hardness operational and technological indicators of the unit on the main dump processing of the soil are defined.  Studies were conducted in three ways: plough PBS-3M fitted with three frames, fitted with two frames, with removed front frame; fitted with two frames, removed the rear frame. The graphical dependences of the plow traction resistance and the unit performance on the speed of MTZ-82+PBS-3M are presented.

During the design of operations of centerless intermittent grinding of surfaces there is a need to identify the natural frequencies of oscillations of the elements of the technological system of grinding. The method of calculation of rigidity, vibration resistance and forced oscillations of the elements of the circular grinding machine is offered in the article. Carrying out of experimental researches of rigidity of elastic system of the SASL 5AD grinding machine. We conducted preliminary experimental studies to measure the oscillations of various elements of the elastic system of the SASL 5AD grinding machine in the horizontal plane by piezoelectric sensors during grinding with continuous and discontinuous circles with different geometric parameters.

The analysis of literature sources on this topic is carried out. It was found that the influence of age on the main strength and deformation parameters has not been studied. The method of experimental researches of coniferous and deciduous species of solid wood of different age at one-time short-term loading along fibers is resulted. To solve the problems, a series of samples of 1 sort of solid wood in the form of prisms with a cross section of 30x30x120 mm were made. The following species of wood were tested: coniferous species - larch, pine, spruce; deciduous - birch, alder, ash. The age of wood was 20, 40, 60 years. At the time of testing, the moisture was 12%. The humidity of the wood was controlled using a moisture meter MD-814. Experimental studies were performed on a servo-hydraulic test machine STM-100 under a rigid load regime (by increasing the displacements of the press plate of the test machine). Based on the obtained results, complete diagrams of deformation of deciduous (birch, alder, ash) and coniferous (larch, pine, spruce) species of solid wood at different ages (60, 40, 20 years) were constructed. The number of twin samples that were tested was 126 pieces. The main strength and deformation parameters were determined experimentally, in particular the average critical deformations of all studied wood species and the corresponding average maximum stresses. It is established that in the case of a rigid test regime, the deformation diagram of solid wood necessarily has two branches - ascending and descending. That is, the samples work in the so-called supercritical stage of work. It was found that the age of wood directly affects the strength and deformability of solid wood. In particular, with increasing age from 20 to 60 years, the strength and deformability of deciduous and coniferous species of solid wood increases significantly. Based on the test results, conclusions were drawn. Further research on this topic is highlighted.

Experimental researches were carried out in the experimental field of the laboratory of agrobiological resources of spring cereal and leguminous crops of the Erastivka experimental station of the SI The Institute of Grain Crops of the NAAS of Ukraine (SI IGC NAAN) of the Piatyhatky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region during 2016–2018 in grain-fallow-row-crop rotation after spring barley as a predecessor. Agricultural technology in experiments was common for the zone. The trial establishment, carrying out an experimental studies, records and observations, and sampling were carried out in accordance with the methodology of field experiment and the generally accepted methodical recommendations of the SI IGC NAAN. Weather conditions during the 2016–2018 for humidity and air temperature were moderately favorable for the germination of the seeds, growth and development of sunflower plants. It was established that, depending on the variant of preparation use, compared to the control, the height of sunflower plants increased by 5.0–12.9 cm, the diameter of the capitulum – by 2.8–4.1 cm, the weight of seeds from the capitulum – by 2.3–4 , 1 g, weight of 1000 seeds – 6.3–8.7 g. The best results of indicators of growth intensity, development and formation the elements of yield structure of sunflower hybrid Jason are received in a variant with foliar feeding of crops in a phase of 3–4 pairs of leaves by preparation Humivit Profi, 0.3 l/ha, which provided an increase in sunflower seed yield relative to the control of 0.39 t/ha. Twice foliar fertilization of sunflower crops: in the phase of 3–4 pairs of leaves – Humivit Extra and in the bud stage – Humivit Amino with application rate 0.2 l/ha of each increased the yield of sunflower seeds relative to the control by 0.23 t/ha. At pre-sowing treatment of sunflower seeds with Humivit Profi, 0.3 l/ha, sunflower yield was 2.23 t/ha, which exceeded the control by 0.16 t/ha. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to establish analytical patterns for predicting changes in stress and energy density spent on the destruction of rocks according to experimental studies. To solve this purpose in the article were set the following scientific problems: 1) analytical description of the dependence of the stress σij on the main deformation εij; 2) establishment of calculation parameters that are included in the analytical patterns; 3) analytical description and study of fracture energy density curves. Methodology. In the course of analytical and experimental researches of full diagrams of deformation of rocks the mathematical model of dependence of the stress on the deformation is developed. Physico-mechanical processes of all characteristic sections of the complete deformation diagram were also analyzed and described. Analysis of the resulting curve showed that the rock mass and elements of the lithosphere are not perfectly elastic or plastic objects. Along with the elastic ones, plastic ones are always present to one degree or another. The integration of the obtained analytical expression σ11 = f(ε11) allowed to establish the volumetric energy density spent on the destruction of the rock sample under the action of external load. The maximum activation energy for the considered rock is 0.67 MJ/m3. A comparison of the experimental and calculated values of the energy dependence u(ε1) shows a coincidence over almost the entire range of deformation changes (ε11 = 0..0.04). Findings. The study of rock samples at hard stress allowed to obtain a complete deformation characteristics of the rock. The curve that surrounds the deformation cycles (1) combines pre-boundary, boundary, extremal modes of deformation and destruction of rocks. Equation (4) allows us to establish that the destruction can occur at different values of energy density U(ε). Originality. An analytical description of the energy diagram of deformation and a complete diagram of stress change in the form of a single dependence, which takes into account the boundary and extremal areas, was developed in the work. In contrast to the method of piecewise linear approximation, this approach corresponds to the physics of the process and reduces errors in calculations. Practical implications. Theoretical and experimental analysis of the obtained energy fracture diagrams and complete stress change diagrams in rocks allows to estimate the bearing capacity of a rock mass or other solid body. This allows you to predict critical values of stresses and external loads to prevent failure in a timely manner.

Assessment of the providing level of hotel facilities by quality terry towels based on a comprehensive study of the operational properties of terry textile fabrics. Methodology. Theoretical and experimental researches are based on the basic principles of textile materials science. During experimental studies, modern methods were used to determine the physical and mechanical properties of textile materials, as well as methods of mathematical planning and statistical processing of the experimental results. Results. The state and norms for the provision of hotel facilities in Ukraine with terry towels are given. The assortment of hotel terry towels has been analyzed. The main factors of the formation of a modern assortment of textile materials for hotel terry towels are considered. The focus is on the classic range of double nap terry fabrics for hotel towels. The analyses of the physical and mechanical properties of modern fabrics for hotel towels are present. Indicators characterizing the interaction of textile with liquid moisture have been experimentally determined. The paper presents the results of determining the wear resistance of fabrics after 1, 5 and 10 cycles "wash-ironing". Scientifi c novelty. The data of the physical and mechanical properties of the classic assortment of textile materials for hotel terry towels are systematized. It has been experimentally proven that the assortment of cotton terry textile materials, which is currently available on the Ukrainian market and is used for the manufacture of hotel terry towels, provides a high level of comfort and durability of towels. Practical value. The modern assortment of textile materials for hotel terry towels is analyzed, taking into account the peculiarities of the operational situation of consumption.

This study numerically investigates precipitation enhancement from cumuliform clouds in three different climate regions: (1) Arid climate of the United Arab Emirates (UAE); (2) maritime climate of Thailand; and (3) continental climate of Serbia. Recently developed core/shell sodium chloride (NaCl)/titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanostructure (CSNT) aerosol was tested as a precipitation enhancer in all three climate regions. Previous experimental studies in cloud chambers and idealized numerical simulations demonstrated that CSNT is a significantly more effective precipitation enhancer than the traditional NaCl. Here, CSNT and NaCl seeding agents are incorporated into the WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model microphysics with explicate treatment of aerosol. Our results show that CSNT is a profoundly more effective precipitation enhancer in the case of arid climate characterized with low humidity. The accumulated surface precipitation in the arid test was 1.4 times larger if CSNT seeding agent was used instead of NaCl. The smallest difference in the effectiveness between CSNT and NaCl was observed in the maritime case due to their similar activation properties at high values of relative humidity.
