The paper presents a novel system for monitoring of the work of industrial belt conveyor. It is based on the strain gauges placed directly on the roller surface that measure pressing force of the belt on the roller. Automatical operation of the measurement system minimizes impact of an operator on the measurement results. Experimental researches included the stability of indications during 5 days, Type A uncertainty estimation and equipment variation EV calculations. Expanded uncertainty calculated for the level of confidence 95% was below 0.1% of the actually measured value, and percentage repeatability %EV = 9.5% was obtained. It can be considered satisfactory, since usually it is required %EV < 10% for new measurement systems.

The scientific article highlights the synthesis of the research results to assess the effect of explosive pressure on the detonation of various quantities of explosives in order to ensure a predictable level of societal security. The results of the experimental researches highlighted in the scientific papers were obtained following the tests with explosive materials performed on different specially configured experimental assemblies in order to analyze the propagation of the pressure wave on a mobile platform with specially configured pressure and gas sensors as well as on the explosion pressure measuring sensors within two modern Kistler systems. The visualization of air pressure waves for the experiments performed with these working montages was done by using a high-speed camera based on the BOS effect applied on fast video filming with adequate quality characteristics on the number of frames per second and the resolution obtained.

Abstract The paper presents experimental researches able to demonstrate that the aeration installations with mobile fine bubble generators are more efficient than the classic ones with fixed, fine bubble generators. The paper develops water aeration researches by introducing two types of fine air bubble generators: I. Fixed fine air bubble generators, which generate Ø <1 mm bubbles; II. Mobile fine air bubble generators that move in the volume of water subject to aeration. The theoretical and experimental results are presented for the two versions. According to experimental data, aeration with mobile FBG is more efficient in terms of oxygen transfer from atmospheric air to a stationary water mass.

Objective. To collect and summarize relevant literatures on the experimental researches of sciatic nerve injury (SNI) with acupuncture during the last decade providing a guideline for effectively treating SNI with acupuncture in the future. Methods. The Chinese and English databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform (WanFang Data), VIP Information Chinese Journal Service Platform (VIP Date), and PubMed were searched from 2009 to 2020 with keywords of “acupuncture and moxibustion OR acupuncture OR electroacupuncture OR scalp acupuncture OR wrist-ankle acupuncture OR acupoint injection OR ear acupuncture” AND “sciatic nerve OR sciatic nerve injury OR sciatic injury OR SNI.” The collected data were mainly evaluated in the items of animal model of SNI, type of interventions, selection of acupuncture points (acupoints), course of treatment and its frequency, and approaches of assessment. Results. A total of 89 studies were included in this analysis. Among them, the most commonly used animal models of SNI were produced by the clamp or transverse injury in the rats; the most frequently used intervention was electroacupuncture with dilatational wave of 2/100 Hz; the frequency of acupuncture was mainly performed once per day lasting for more than 2 weeks; the mainly selected acupoints were Huantiao (GB30), Zusanli (ST36), and Yanglingquan (GB34); and the approaches of assessment were contained with behavioral, functional, morphological, histological, cellular, and molecular measurements. Conclusion. The results indicated that the experimental researches of SNI with acupuncture has made marked progress in recent years, which may provide important clues for further investigating the underlying mechanisms of acupuncture for the treatment of SNI in the future.

This paper aims to take stock of the acquisitions achieved by evidence-based research on teaching to read, to compare them with the teaching practices, as they emerge from the school textbooks proposed by the publishing houses in Italy. Moving from the importance recently assumed by scientific research on effective teaching and the need to avoid risks and misunderstandings that can be generated for its use in practice, the evidence acquired about the teaching of reading and writing is presented, recalling the need to focus on the grapheme-phoneme correspondence to be acquired by children in a progressive, systematic and explicit way. It is then pointed out that the textbooks in use propose approaches in clear contrast with this finding. The second part focuses on the experimental researches conducted in Italy in recent years, congruent with the framework previously indicated, which achieve better effectiveness and high motivation in all pupils. Particular attention is paid to the national research conducted recently by the Association S.Ap.I.E.

The results of experimental researches of parameters of movement of the model of the gantry crane under the influence of wind loadings are resulted. The assessment of the accuracy and reliability of the obtained results is performed and further directions of research are outlined. The adopted test program included the definition of similarity criteria and scale of the model, where the main parameter was the speed of the crane when exposed to wind. The influence of various factors and assessment of the impact of their interaction was achieved by conducting PFE type 24.

Abstract An assessment of the influence of electrotechnology of ultraviolet irradiation of seeds and pre-sowing soil treatment and the creation, on their technological basis, of management and control of salt and nutritional regimes of irrigated soils has been carried out. Relative yield of field crops versus the concentration of toxic salts in the soil solution at full moisture capacity are shown. By results of experimental researches acting of UV irradiation on the amount of ammonifying bacteria in the soil under cotton for increasing the accumulation of the most mobile nitrate forms of nitrogen are defined.

Abstract The paper is devoted to the study of part surface position and its influence on metal removal and steady-state rougness during vibro-abrasive processing. The article raises the differences between vibro-abrasive processing of external and internal part surfaces. Theoretical dependencies analysis for determination on part material removal and surface steady-state roughness is carried out. It is known that available theoretical dependencies do not take into account part surface position for material removal and the steady-state roughness calculation. Experimental researches to determine internal surface material removal with external surface isolation were carried out. The influence of part surface position on the steady-state roughness is investigated. Based on obtained experimental results, the dependence graphs of material removal and roughness on the processing time are constructed. The comparative analysis of the part surface position influence on material removal and the steady-state roughness during vibro-abrasive processing is carried out. The results showed that material removal volume from the internal surface more than from the external for short part length, however material removal volume from the external surfaces grows significantly in case of part length increasing, while from the internal surfaces is not significant. It is established that the internal surface steady-state roughness is ∼1.55 times higher than external surface steady-state roughness after processing in triangular prism 15×15, grit 16.
