The development of sheet-stamping production within the framework of meeting the needs of modern mechanical engineering involves the use of advanced technologies, materials and blanks, which makes certain requirements for the level of blank production technologies in general. In modern conditions, sheet-stamping production involves the manufacture of stamped parts in limited quantities due to their constantly changing design, which, in turn, requires optimization of the volume of investments and reduction of the time required for the implementation of technological preparation of production, flexibility of technological and design solutions, as well as the maximum approximation of all parameters of stamped parts to parameters of the finished product in order to reduce subsequent processing. Box-shaped sheet metal stamped parts obtained during the implementation of the drawing operation are actively used in the medical, light, watchmaking, food machine-building, electrical, instrument-making, and automotive industries. One of the main tasks for obtaining high-quality box-shaped sheet-stamped parts is the creation of a stamping technology that meets modern production requirements based on progressive methods for calculating shaping operations, as well as designing the contour of the original blank taking into account the peculiarities of the shaping process and the required geometric parameters of parts. Depending on the purpose of the box-shaped sheet-stamped part, the main geometric parameters are determined, the correspondence of the actual values of which to the required ones allows to make a conclusion regarding the quality of the obtained stamped product. As a rule, such a parameter is the height of the box-shaped part, the error of which ultimately should not exceed the tolerance assigned by the designer. For example, in the automotive industry, one of the promising directions for reducing the weight of a car while maintaining the strength parameters of its units and elements, as well as reducing their cost, is the introduction of sheet welded blanks of different thickness. This article is devoted to an experimental study of the error in the height of the contour of tall boxes with relatively large radii of corner curvatures, obtained by drawing from these blanks made of high-strength steel. Проведен анализ технологических возможностей двухкамерных устройств для листовой штамповки с одной и двумя камерами сгорания. В устройствах с одной камерой сгорания штамповка детали происходит в холодном состоянии заготовки под действием на нее гибкой среды за счет кинетической энергии поршня, ускоряемого продуктами сгорания газообразной топливной смеси. В устройствах с двумя камерами сгорания процесс штамповки совершается с нагревом заготовки воздействием на нее горячего газа, образованного при сгорании в верхней камере предварительно сжатой топливной смеси. При этом сжатие смеси осуществляется за счет энергии продуктов сгорания, образованных в нижней камере сгорания. Доказано, что устройства с одной камерой сгорания целесообразно использовать для штамповки из пластичных сортов сталей деталей разнообразной формы толщиной до 4 мм и из пластичных цветных сплавов толщиной до 8 мм. Устройства с двумя камерами сгорания целесообразно использовать для штамповки деталей из малопластичных сортов алюминиевых, титановых сплавов и других труднодеформируемых сплавов. Двухкамерные устройства для листовой штамповки обладают широкими технологическими возможностями и могут быть эффективно использованы в мелкосерийных производствах для штамповки деталей различной формы We carried out the analysis of technological capabilities of two-chamber devices for sheet stamping with one and two combustion chambers. In devices with one combustion chamber, the stamping process is carried out in the cold state of the workpiece by the action of an elastic medium on it, using the kinetic energy of the piston accelerated by the combustion products of the gaseous fuel mixture. In devices with two combustion chambers, the stamping process is carried out with the heating of the workpiece by the action of the hot gas formed during combustion in the upper chamber of the pre-compressed fuel mixture. In this case, the mixture is compressed due to the energy of the combustion products formed in the lower chamber. We established that devices with one combustion chamber are expedient to be used for stamping parts of various shapes with a thickness of up to 4 mm and from plastic non-ferrous alloys with a thickness of up to 8 mm from ductile steels. Devices with two combustion chambers are advisable to be used for stamping parts from low-plastic grades of aluminum, titanium alloys and other hard-to-deform alloys. Two-chamber devices for sheet stamping have wide technological capabilities and can be effectively used in small-scale production for stamping parts of various shapes

The present study demonstrates the ultrastructure of the gingival epithelium of the pig tail monkey (Macaca nemestrina). Specimens were taken from lingual and facial gingival surfaces and fixed in Dalton's chrome osmium solution (pH 7.6) for 1 hr, dehydrated, and then embedded in Epon 812.Tonofibrils are variable in number and structure according to the different region or location of the gingival epithelial cells, the main orientation of which is parallel to the long axis of the cells. The cytoplasm of the basal epithelial cells contains a great number of tonofilaments and numerous mitochondria. The basement membrane is 300 to 400 A thick. In the cells of stratum spinosum, the tonofibrils are densely packed and increased in number (fig. 1 and 3). They seem to take on a somewhat concentric arrangement around the nucleus. The filaments may occur scattered as thin fibrils in the cytoplasm or they may be arranged in bundles of different thickness. The filaments have a diameter about 50 A. In the stratum granulosum, the cells gradually become flatted, the tonofibrils are usually thin, and the individual tonofilaments are clearly distinguishable (fig. 2). The mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum are seldom seen in these superficial cell layers.

The article describes the possibilities of increasing the durability of crank presses. The influence of the main parameters of the press on the value of the recoil force was studied. Based on the analysis of this topic, the types of expansion of technological capabilities of crank presses and their strength and durability were summarized.

Recent literature on Mexican industry has emphasized its uneven sectorial development: some sectors have been successful, while the rest remain well behind. Given these circumstances, the present paper proposes a particular division for Mexican industry in High-Tech and Low-Tech sectors. This division is based on technological capabilities for a particular sample of industries during the nineties and verified for statistical robustness using the discriminant analysis technique. Finally, the division is used for an empirical application in terms of profitability and market structure. The empirical results reveal a diverse behaviour of the High-Tech and Low-Tech groups.

The procedure of automated process reliability evaluation is developed in order to prevent recurrent defects in parts manufactured by die stamping. The procedure is based on the analysis of such factors as part design, material, its mechanical and physical properties; equipment parameters, tool performance, etc. The list of reliability factors may vary according to type of operation as deformation process is different for each group of operations. The adjustment of stamping process reliability performance prevents any defects emerging during production of critical parts as early as the work preparation stage.
