The article is a review of the book Humanistyka między narodami. Interdyscyplinarne studia polsko-ukraińskie [The humanities across nations. Interdisciplinary Polish-Ukrainian studies] under the scientific editorship of Jarosław Ławski and Lucjan Suchanek, published by Temida 2 publishing house in Białystok in 2020. It is a multi-authored monograph. The researcher notes that the works included in it concern various aspects of the humanities, scientific dialogue and intercultural exchange of experiences, and their common ground is the idea of a higher good, the search for truth and showing the continuous development of the humanities. A great advantage of the volume lies in the diversity resulting from the undertaken problems and the presence of representatives of not only Polish, but also Ukrainian sciences.

Coworking is defined as people work and share the same facilities; creating social interaction to form a community. Through literature publication in Asia, most of the studies are focusing on market value and revenue; lack study on social interaction topic. This study aims to analyse spaces for user social interaction in coworking space in Common Ground Damansara Heights. To achieve the aim, it identifies types of social interaction in coworking space. Site observation and data are analysed to determine the availability of spaces for social interaction. This conclusion informs suggestion to designers and academics on consideration in coworking spaces for user to socialise. Keywords: Coworking; social interactioneISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020. The Authors. The article considers the editorial aspects of preparation for the publication of works by the classic of Ukrainian literature, public and political figure V. Vynnychenko. It is emphasized that in the 20-30s of the twentieth century. It was at the Rukh Kharkiv Cooperative Publishing House that the first attempt was made to publish a complete collection of the writer’s works. A historical parallel was drawn between the two fates of the editor I. Lyzanivsky and the writer V. Vynnychenko, which helped to find a common ground and to draw conclusions. Particular attention is paid to V. Vynnychenko’s correspondence with the Publishing Board. Various aspects of preparing a complete collection of works are illustrated with examples, supported by considerations and explanations. The historical section of the facts made it possible to determine the violation of the use of V. Vynnychenko’s works without the consent of the author, which shows the inconsistency of the actual state of the economy of that time and the law declared in the laws.

Abstract In this paper, we explore cultural values and expectations that might vary among different groups. Using the collectivist-individualist framework, we discuss differences in beliefs about the caregiver role in teaching and interacting with young children. Differences in these beliefs can lead to dissatisfaction with services on the part of caregivers and with frustration in service delivery on the part of service providers. We propose that variation in caregiver and service provider perspectives arise from cultural values, some of which are instilled through our own training as speech-language pathologists. Understanding where these differences in cultural orientation originate can help to bridge these differences. These can lead to positive adaptations in the ways that speech-language pathology services are provided within an early intervention setting that will contribute to effective intervention.

Spatial selection of relevant information has been proposed to reflect an emergent feature of stimulus processing within an integrated network of perceptual areas. Stimulus-based and intention-based sources of information might converge in a common stage when spatial maps are generated. This approach appears to be inconsistent with the assumption of distinct mechanisms for stimulus-driven and top-down controlled attention. In two experiments, the common ground of stimulus-driven and intention-based attention was tested by means of event-related potentials (ERPs) in the human EEG. In both experiments, the processing of a single transient was compared to the selection of a physically comparable stimulus among distractors. While single transients evoked a spatially sensitive N1, the extraction of relevant information out of a more complex display was reflected in an N2pc. The high similarity of the spatial portion of these two components (Experiment 1), and the replication of this finding for the vertical axis (Experiment 2) indicate that these two ERP components might both reflect the spatial representation of relevant information as derived from the organization of perceptual maps, just at different points in time.
