AbstractThe Precise Point Positioning (PPP) service of BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System (BDS-3) is implemented on its Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellites. However, its signal design is limited by the actual power of satellite and other conditions. Furthermore, the design needs to fully consider the compatibility of different service phases. Starting from the actual state of the BDS-3 GEO satellite, this paper studies the multiplexing modulation of the BDS PPP service signal that is based on the Asymmetric Constant Envelope Binary Offset Carrier (ACE-BOC) technique and proposes several feasible schemes for this signal. Comparison and optimization of these techniques are made from the aspects of transmission efficiency, multiplexing efficiency, and service forward compatibility. Based on the Type-III ACE-BOC multiplexing modulation technique, phase rotation and intermodulation reconstruction techniques are proposed to suppress the intermodulation interference issue. Finally, a signal based on improved ACE-BOC multiplexing is designed. The quality of the proposed signal was continuously monitored and tested using large-diameter antennas. The evaluation results show that the power spectrum deviation of the signal is 0.228 dB, the correlation loss is 0.110 dB, the S-curve slope deviation is 1.558% on average, the average length difference between the positive/negative chip and the ideal chip is only 0.0006 ns, and the coherence between the carrier and the pseudo code is 0.082°. All quality indicators are satisfactory, indicating that the proposed signal multiplexing modulation technique is an ideal solution that meets all the requirements of the design constraints, and can achieve efficient information broadcasting and forward compatibility of the BDS PPP service.

The analysis of social networks has attracted a lot of attention during the last two decades. These networks are dynamic: new links appear and disappear. Link prediction is the problem of inferring links that will appear in the future from the actual state of the network. We use information from nodes and edges and calculate the similarity between users. The more users are similar, the higher the probability of their connection in the future will be. The similarity metrics play an important role in the link prediction field. Due to their simplicity and flexibility, many authors have proposed several metrics such as Jaccard, AA, and Katz and evaluated them using the area under the curve (AUC). In this paper, we propose a new parameterized method to enhance the AUC value of the link prediction metrics by combining them with the mean received resources (MRRs). Experiments show that the proposed method improves the performance of the state-of-the-art metrics. Moreover, we used machine learning algorithms to classify links and confirm the efficiency of the proposed combination.

Social media plays an important role during the Covid-19 pandemic, where physical activity and community mobility are limited. Especially for women who work as domestic workers who live with their employers. Social media is the only means for them to connect with the outside world.Previous studies have shown that a person's identity can be shown through the front stage and the back stage. Theoretically, this study analyzing how women domestic workers identify themselves through the online realm using social media. This study uses a constructivist paradigm and a qualitative approach.  The research participants were three women domestic worker who were obtained purposively using the snowball sampling technique. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and observation to participants. The results of the study show that social media allows participants to construct a reality in the online realm that is different from their situation in real life. Therefore, social media has a very important meaning for participants, because with social media, participants feel their position is equal to other users. They also have access to create a front stage and a back stage, where they can create their ideal self-identity. The aspect of self that are presented by the participants on the front stage is individuals who are successful and happy with their lives. For participants, this is an aspect of their ideal self, even though it does not represent their actual state.

Continuous and rapid developments in science and technology have raised a challenge for compliance between the learning content provided by study programs and (1) the actual state of art in the domains the programs are addressing and (2) the actual needs of companies that will employ the graduates of these programs. To achieve such compliance continuously, the digitalization of learning content (curriculum) engineering could provide supporting tools that facilitate awareness of incompliance, which is the first step in introducing changes in the learning content. In this article we discuss how such awareness, regarding the needs of companies, can be supported by a service system that monitors the gap between educational demand and offer. The proposed service system provides possibilities for automatic, semi-automatic and manual analysis of texts representing the educational demand, versus the texts representing the educational offer. The implementation of the service system has been demonstrated, having been applied at university. The experiments showed that the system can provide valuable information for educational content development, but its maintenance and incorporation in study process management and curriculum engineering still require additional research.

The paper deals with the issue of eccentricity in the technological node of the piercing press, under selected conditions, which result from the possibilities of production in the conditions of ŽP a.s. These conditions were verified and adapted to the rolling process. This process consisting of individual technological nodes on the rolling mill, in which eccentricity is created on the piercing press and the following steps eliminate it in other technological nodes. For quality analysis of manufacturing tubes using numerical simulation, it is necessary to know the actual state of eccentricity creation on the rolling mill. A numerical simulation of piercing under different input conditions was used (software DEFORM-3D) and was performed for several different charge states before entering onto the piercing press. The eccentricity itself has a significant effect on the resulting geometric quality of the tubes.

In this article, an important part of Simondon’s philosophy of technology (mainly as it is elaborated in On the Mode of Existence of Technical Objects) is presented and situated within a broader context of philosophy of technology and contemporary trends of technological development. The hypothesis suggests that one of the main motives behind such Simondon’s ideas as a reconciliation between culture and technics, the need for mechanology, etc. is to dispel the metaphysical view of autonomous position of technology as uncontrollable destiny in contemporary societies. However, Simondon’s position remains inherently ambivalent here: even though it is culture that should incorporate and govern technology, culture still must accomodate itself to the actual state of technology developed by technicians. A mystifying element in Simondon’s philosophy of technology remains, as the philosopher privileges a technician as being grounded in and having access to the pre-individual state of nature. It is argued that the development of technology should be more democratized and put under rational control of society.

The purpose of the article is to investigate the narratives of contemporary Ukrainian composers in the context of their assessment of their own work and the actual existing musicological components of each work: its purpose, the whole conglomeration of musical means of expression, and their multidimensional and multifunctional context. Attention is focused on the problem of inconsistency of the author's linguistic content in expressing his own ideas about his work, with the actual state of affairs, in terms of musicological logic, psychology, etc. The research methodology is based on the analysis of the sphere of expression of human thinking by R. Bart, K. Bremon, F. Jameson, T. Tytarenko, Ts. Todorov, E. Tshebinski and others. Also, studies by G. Gadamer, M. Heidegger, P. Reeker, R. Harre, which consider the narrative as a discursive structure, formed on the basis of their own experience. In the field of musical art, the problem of narratology is paid attention to in the works of N. Gerasimova-Persidskaya, O. Zinkevych, Y. Chekan, and some other musicologists. Scientific novelty. For the first time in the work a comparative analysis of the subjective-authorial understanding of composers of the narratives of their own work with the musicological, culturological, and socio-political context of the existence of the individual, to establish the artistic conceptuality of some of their works. Conclusions. It is established that the assimilation and awareness of meaning are possible only through certain messages that can have many meanings, and decoding them together can take any form. Thus, at the junction of the meanings of the narrator and the listener, his interpretive understanding appears, which becomes the basis of the final conclusion. Keywords: language content, creative narratives, artistic conceptuality, decoding.

Assessment of the current residual capacity is a fundamentally important task, the solution of which is demonstrated on a landfill located in the Republic of Tatarstan. To solve the task, the modern methods of high-precision three-dimensional reconstruction were used based on the survey from an unmanned aircraft DJI Phantom 4, equipped with a global satellite navigation system (GNSS) receiver. As a result of combining the project data and data from field surveys into one coordinate system and elevations and reconstruction of designed underground and ground parts of landfill calculation, the difference of models and the residual capacity of the landfill becomes possible. Based on the materials considered as of July 2020, the residual capacity of the studied landfill is 41.2 % of the project capacity, which allows us to continue to operate this landfill. The proposed approach allows for rapid and high-quality active monitoring of the engineered facility. Photogrammetric processing of the results of low-altitude aerial photography makes it possible to obtain objective data on the current actual state of the landfills, to carry out competent and valid management of the landfill functioning. Significant, this will extend the landfill's lifetime, minimize the adverse effects on the environment and predict the yield to the project capacity much more accurately.

The article presents methodological approaches to the formation of a criteria of assessing the level of consumer services sphere development on the territory of an urban agglomeration, taking into account the determination of the indicative supply rate of companies providing services. The semantic basis of the category "complectarity" is formulated and the significance of this category in the approach of assessing the actual state of the development level of the consumer services sphere is shown, taking into account the actual set of services provided by enterprises in relation to the set of services, which serve as a measure of their number. The application of this methodology allows us to reveal the unevenness of the supply of consumer services relative to real demand of this services and to explain the formation of pricing policy of companies, providing services in conditions of deviation from the equilibrium of supply and demand, which fully meets the principles of the theory of pricing formation by formulating a coherent strategy of the consumer services sphere development. Research carried out on the basis of using methodology of complectarity makes it possible to more accurately determine the species and quantitative disparities in supply in any territory of an urban agglomeration, taking into account the size of the population living in it. Evaluation of the supply of consumer services relative to their real demand based on the application of the bundling methodology allows us to determine the specific and quantitative disproportions of the supply of consumer services in any territory of an urban agglomeration relative to the number of people living there, which corresponds to the theory of pricing, explains the possibility of forming an equilibrium price, subject to the presence or absence of a package offer of consumer services, including specific and quantitative indicators. Thus, a program or strategy for the development of consumer services should be aimed at bringing the indicator of integral completeness to one. It is with this meaning that economic equilibrium and the absolute achievement of the goals of strategic development of the consumer services sector take place. This condition corresponds to the concepts of "set", "ideal completeness" and serves as a criterion for assessing the level of development of consumer services in the territory under consideration.
