ASSESSMENT OF DEFORMABILITY BY EXPERIMENTAL METHODS

The paper presents a theoretical and experimental study of experimental methods for the determination of deformability. Thus we determined the degree of deformation of copper wire by testing to traction, the fragility by means of fragility testing and the elongation of the spire sample. The experimental attempts have highlighted the fact that the properties of materials are determined with the help of the experimental methods. These The indicated test methods show the deformability of the material in the process ofplastic deformation and they are representative of physical simulation attempts.

Возможность ошибок в определении свойств фильтрующих зернистых материалов заложена в самом ГОСТ Р 51641-2000 «Материалы фильтрующие зернистые. Общие технические условия» из-за неточностей в методиках испытаний. На основании опыта НИИ ВОДГЕО в выполнении испытаний различных фильтрующих материалов даются предложения по уточнению и корректировке этих методик, позволяющие получить достоверные и воиспроизводимые результаты для оценки физико-химических свойств материалов. Для получения реальных воспроизводимых результатов по основным методикам ГОСТ Р 51641-2000 их необходимо корректировать в части пробоподготовки, определения показателей химической стойкости и механической прочности фильтрующего материала в соответствии с предложенными рекомендациями. Данные предложения, основанные на практическом опыте испытаний различных фильтрующих материалов (песков, цеолитов, активных углей и др.), позволяют получить достоверные воспроизводимые результаты, которые не противоречат методикам ГОСТ Р 51641-2000. Possible errors while determining the properties of filtering granular materials are laid down in GOST R 51641-2000 «Granular filtering materials. General specifications» because of theinaccuracies in the test methods. Based on the experience of NII VODGEO in performing tests of various filtering materials, suggestions on improving and adjusting these methods are presented that provide for obtaining reliable and reproducible results for the estimation of the physical and chemical properties of materials. To obtain actual reproducible results according to the main methods defined in GOST R 51641-2000, correcting the processes of sample preparation, determination of chemical resistance indicators and mechanical strength of the filter material is needed in accordance with the proposed recommendations. These proposals, based on the work experience in testing various filter materials (sand, zeolite, activated carbon, etc.), provide for obtaining reliable reproducible results that do not contradict the methods of GOST R 51641-2000.

The need for reliable data on thermophysical properties of materials has increased continuously in the last period. The existing data, except for some pure elements or alloys and compounds, often unreliable, and in many cases the need for accurate and acceptable data, can only be achieved by measuring a given property. This paper focuses on elements of the used test methods associated with the description of the newly introduced parameter (effectiveness of dental coating). The selected method was the “pulse method” for determining thermal diffusivity (the method allows simultaneous determination of thermal diffusivity, specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity) directly applicable in the study of the thermal compatibility of metal-ceramic systems in dental applications.
