In today’s business environment, the maximization of shareholders wealth is not the only objective of a company. By engaging in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, companies are also responsible for the interest of stakeholders and society at large. CSR disclosure is believed to improve financial performance. In State Owned Enterprises (SOE), however, the validity of this relationship has been called into question. In this paper, the main objective is to investigate the influence of CSR disclosure on financial performance in SOE. In relation to the measurement of financial performance, this study takes into account three indicators: Return on Equity (ROE), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Net Profit Margin (NPM). In this study, data from state owned enterprises, which were listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from the period of 2011 to 2015, were analyzed using simple regression method. The data used in this study took the form of financial and sustainability report issued by state owned enterprises. The results show that the disclosure of CSR has a significant positive effect on ROE. The CSR disclosure also has a significant positive effect on EPS. In contrast, the disclosure of CSR has no effect on NPM. In the context of State Owned Enterprises, the research demonstrates that there is positive relationship between CSR disclosure and financial performance. This paper contributes to our understanding of state owned enterprises in Indonesia; a research area which has to date been neglected by scholars.

The problem in this research is the low level of CSR disclosure or social responsibility in mining companies, even though in reality it is stated in the law that every company is required to disclose social responsibility. This research is an empirical study on mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ROA, NPM and DER on CSR. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data used are secondary data with direct collection through the company's annual report. This sampling technique uses a separate sample criteria taken from mining companies that disclose CSR using the GRI index. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 24 software. The results of this study indicate that partially the ROA variable has no significant positive effect on CSR, while the NPM and DER variables have a significant positive effect on CSR. However, all variables simultaneously influence CSR.

This study aims to determine the effect of capital intensity, company characteristics, and disclosure of corporate social responsibility on tax avoidance with leverage as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling method in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. The number of samples used was 82 companies. The method of analysis of this study is multiple linear regression using eviews 9. The results showed that the intensity of capital had a positive and significant effect on tax avoidance, the company's characteristics  had a negative and significant effect on tax avoidance, the disclosure of corporate social responsibility had a positive effect and not significant impact on tax avoidance. Leverage is able to moderate the influence of capital intensity on tax avoidance, leverage is able to moderate the effect of corporate characteristics on tax avoidance while leverage is not a variable that is able to moderate the disclosure effect of corporate social responsibility on tax avoidance. Finally, the authors suggest that tax avoidance considerations can be used other than those used by researchers. For the calculation of capital intensity, company characteristics, and disclosure of CSR can use other proxy proxies other than those used by researchers. And for the next researcher, it is expected to be able to add variables related to the variables affected, and extend the research period.
