Fernando Casás: a note about the artist.www.fernandocasas.es  Fernando Casás [Vigo, Spain, 1946], lives between Brazil – where he spent most part of his life – and Spain, where he is professor of Sculpture at the University of Vigo. He is also professor in Doctorate courses at ESAD Escola Superior Artística do Porto, Portugal. He began working and investigating with Art and Nature [Land Art, Eco Art, Earth Works] at the end of the sixties, influenced by the tropical environment. Since then he works in different, paralell and recurrent streams: a de-materialized side [like the Idiotic Projects, the capture of a fleeting moment];  the ephemeral works [like the Wanderer Project  or the Earth 100 / Latex, where he makes small and intimate incursions at random in the natural environment] ;  and finally what we could call the formal works, where evidenciation of the passing of time and investigation of new ways are the major concerns, and where he works with different techniques, procedures and materials, ranging from worn out raw material to new technologies, which result in works that can be seen in exhibitions, collections or public places [The Termite Cycle, Trees as Archaeology or Act / Impact]. Nowadays he is considered by art critics as a pioneer in the Art and Nature field.  Among public works: Lamed Vav / The 36 Justs together with R.Morris, R.Long, Hamilton Finlay. Este texto originou-se a partir de uma pesquisa de doutorado realizada em uma escola pública de ensino médio do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. O principal objetivo do trabalho era discutir - com professores e alunos - alguns temas relacionados às suas concepções e práticas de leitura, utilizando como recuroso metodológico imagens produzidas pelos sujeitos da pesquisa. Diferentes concepções sobre a leitura, a relação entre a leitura literária e outros tipos de leitura e dessas com as "novas tecnologias", o papel da escola, motivando ou não o acesso aos diferentes suportes e textos, foram alguns dos tópicos discutidos naquele estudo. Durante a realização da pesquisa abordei a leitura como prática cultural, nos termos propostos pela história cultural. Este texto privilegia um recorte desta discussão, abordando a relação entre a imagem, a leitura e a escola. Palavras-chave: Leitura; Jovens; Imagem; Escola; Televisão. ABSTRACTThis paper is a result of a doctoral research, in a public high school in Rio de Janeiro. The main objective of this work was to discuss - with teachers and students - some topics related to their conceptions and practices about reading, throughout pictures that were taken by them during the research. The different ideas about reading, the link between literary reading and other kinds of reading with "new technologies", the function of school, motivating - or not - the access to different places of reading, were some of the topics discussed throughout the research. During the research I analyzed reading as a cultural practice, as proposed by cultural history. The present text emphasizes a part of this discussion focusing on the relationship between image, reading and the school.Keywords: Lecture; Youth; Image; School; Television.RESUMENEste trabajo es el resultado de una investigación doctoral , en una escuela secundaria pública en Río de Janeiro. El principal objetivo de este trabajo fue discutir - con maestros y estudiantes - algunos temas relacionados con sus concepciones y prácticas acerca de la lectura , a lo largo de las imágenes que fueron tomadas por ellos durante la investigación. <p>O transporte rodoviário de passageiros no Brasil cumpre importante função social enquanto serviço público ao propiciar um conjunto amplo de deslocamentos de pessoas, cargas e informações por grande parte dos estados e regiões brasileiras. Trata-se de uma atividade econômica importante para o território nacional, pois revela uma variedade de interações espaciais que abrangem a complexa rede urbana do país. A flexibilidade do ônibus rodoviário e a capilaridade do serviço são centrais para o atendimento a cidades de portes variados, pois permite a conexão entre centros urbanos com menos de cinco mil habitantes até a conexão entre metrópoles como Brasília/DF, Rio de Janeiro/RJ e São Paulo/SP. Este artigo debaterá tais deslocamentos de pessoas pelo modal rodoviário a partir da análise que contemplará as cidades pequenas na região Sul do Brasil, tendo a formação socioespacial como base para o entendimento das dinâmicas atinentes ao recorte e de suas articulações com a divisão territorial do trabalho. Neste contexto, se destaca a importância das ligações rodoviárias de longa distância que contemplam dezenas de cidades em seus percursos.</p><p><span>Abstract</span></p><p>THE INTERSTATE ROAD TRANSPORT OF PASSENGERS IN THE URBAN NETWORK OF SOUTHERN REGION: AN ANALYSIS ABOUT THE SMALL CITIES</p><p>The road passenger transport in Brazil plays an important social function as a public service by providing a broad set of displacements of people, cargo and information across displacements through most Brazilian states and regions. This is an important economic activity for the national territory because it reveals a variety of spatial interactions covering the country’s complex urban network. The flexibility of the road bus and the capillarity of the service are central for the service to cities of varying sizes, because it allows the connection between urban centers with less than five thousand inhabitants until the connection between metropolises like Brasília/ DF, Rio de Janeiro/RJ and São Paulo/SP. This article will discuss such displacements of people by the road modal from the analysis that will contemplate the small towns in the Southern region of Brazil, with socio-spatial formation as the basis for understanding the dynamics related to the of the dynamics related to the snippet and understanding of its articulations with the territorial division of labor. In this context, the importance of long-distance road connections that include dozens of cities on their routes stands out.</p>

With the passing of the years, behavioural changes took place in society, caused by the great place in society, caused by the great technological advances reflected in the educational field. Having questions like: - Ho to make the student’s cell phone partner in the classroom? – Does the use of the cell phone in the classroom hinder the teaching- learning process, or does it generate opportunities for the construction of new knowledge? The research was developed relating theory/practice, as recommended by Paulo Freire. Instruments used, questionnaire/interview were validated by Brazilian educational doctors. The research was developed in a qualitative way, proceeding in a case study by exploratory segment. Complete with a practical-pedagogical work, making use of interdisciplinary. As novas demandas da atenção à saúde: estamos preparados para mudanças na formação profissional?

Introdução: Em função de uma trajetória profissional curativa e reabilitadora, os fisioterapeutas encontram-se frente ao desafio da adaptação de sua formação curricular para atender às novas demandas da saúde pública brasileira. Objetivo: Verificar a necessidade de adequação das grades curriculares dos cursos de fisioterapia aos propósitos das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais (DCN) na formação de profissionais fisioterapeutas com perfil humanista e generalista. Material e métodos: Foram analisadas 33 grades curriculares de cursos de fisioterapia, reconhecidos pelo MEC, nas cidades do Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo e Belo Horizonte, para verificar se os conteúdos programáticos atendem às mudanças preconizadas. Resultados: Em treze cursos o modelo de ensino ainda é o tradicional, tendo como referência o “saber técnico”. Nove cursos buscam se adaptar às propostas das Diretrizes. Onze integram disciplinas e estágios supervisionados que atendem às mudanças. Conclusão: Os projetos pedagógicos revelam a necessidade de mudanças na educação, de modo que o processo de formação se paute por uma atuação com foco na prevenção e promoção da saúde.Palavras-chave: atenção primária à saude, educação em saúde, prática profissional, classificação internacional de funcionalidade, incapacidade e saúde.

Resumo: O presente texto objetiva uma abordagem, no interior do pensamento de Ernst Bloch (1885/1977), acerca da relação entre marxismo e utopia: um vínculo incomum no interior do marxismo, comumente tido numa oposição inconciliável. Daí a apropriação do termo “herético” em referência ao marxismo do autor alemão: a expressão é usada não em sentido pejorativo, mas apenas para situar seu distanciamento do marxismo vulgar, bem como sua intenção de crítica radical dessa tradição. Aqui entendemos que é, em particular, por meio da relação entre marxismo e utopia que o pensamento de Ernst Bloch aparece como um projeto inelutavelmente político com vistas a uma filosofia da práxis concreta na principal obra do autor: O Princípio esperança (Das Prinzip Hoffnung) [1954/1959]. Neste livro encontramos, com efeito, a tentativa de pensar a atualidade do marxismo para o contexto do século XX, a era das catástrofes, conforme definição do historiador Eric Hobsbawm. Palavras-chave: Marxismo. Cultura.  Abstract: This paper presents an approach within the thinking of Ernst Bloch (1885/1977) about the relation between Marxism and Utopia: an unusual link within Marxism, commonly held in an irreconcilable opposition. Hence the appropriation of the term "heretical" in reference to the German author's Marxism: the expression is used not in a pejorative sense, but only to situate its distancing from vulgar Marxism, as well as its intention of a radical critique of this tradition. Here we understand that it is particularly through the relationship between Marxism and Utopia that Ernst Bloch's thought appears as an ineluctably political project with a view to a philosophy of concrete praxis in the principal work of the author: The Principle Hope (Das Prinzip Hoffnung) [1954/1959]. In this book we find, in effect, the attempt to think the actuality of Marxism in the context of the age of catastrophe - as defined by Eric Hobsbawm - that is, the long twentieth century that experienced the extreme barbarism of the concentration camp, of which the thinker in question, Jewish and Communist, managed to escape.  Keywords: Marxism. Resumo: Como entender o desenvolvimento teórico e as mudanças históricosociais que impulsionaram a recuperação e alteração da teoria marxiana no século XX e como esta ainda se encontra atuante sobre nosso horizonte social contemporâneo? Fazendo uso da reconstrução crítica de Habermas, a recuperação se inicia com Weber, a passagem por Lukács e na recepção horkheimeriana-adorniana, que tanto influenciou a crítica social do século XX, o presente artigo busca apresentar uma possibilidade de leitura.  Palavras-chave: Teoria crítica. Modernidade.  Abstract: How can we understand the theoretical development and all the socialhistorical changes which drove the incoming recovery and the further alteration of the Marxian theory in the twentieth century and how is it still possible to assumes it on our contemporary societies? Recovering Habermas’s critical reconstruction, which starts with Weber, the next step over Lukács, and the Horkheimerian-Adornian theoretical reception, which has largely influenced twentieth social critic, the aim paper intents to show up a possible reading.  Keywords: Critical theory.
