Functional nanomaterials with simulated properties have become promising candidates for the detection of hydrogen peroxide. However, there are few studies on the colorimetric detection of metal ions and amino acids based on the peroxidase-simulation activity of amino acid functionalized AuNCs. In this study, a method for preparing fluorescent probe using histidine (His) and ascorbic acid (AA) as reductant and stabilizer was proposed. TMB was used as chromogenic substrate to indicate the catalytic process. The ultraviolet absorbance of oxTMB was determined at the characteristic absorption peak 625nm, and the standard curve was drawn to determine the concentration of H2O2 accurately. We found that Fe3+ can greatly improve the response signal of His-AA-AuNCs and has high selectivity. The linear range of H2O2 concentration detection is 10-9.97×106 μM. The concentration range of probe response to Fe3+ is 0.28-280 nM. The His-AA-AuNCs fluorescent probe was applied to intracellular fluorescence imaging after adriamycin injury, and the fluorescence intensity increased with the increase of probe concentration. This study was based on the double-stranded nature of amino acids and the properties of hydrogen peroxide mimic enzymes to detect other substances, which has a promising application prospect, and may potentially be applied to metal ions, amino acids and peptides in the biological and environmental fields in the future.

Isolated Flammulina velutipes fruit bodies were cultured under sterile conditions with the cut base immersed in water or solutions. Stipe elongation on water was only 6% of normal for fruit bodies isolated at 1.1–2.0 cm length, 19% at 5.1–6.0 cm, and the same as for fruit bodies attached to mycelium at 9.1–10.0 cm. Fruit bodies not immersed in water grew less in a saturated atmosphere than those in water. The mycelium must supply other substances than water for normal elongation during about two-thirds of the growth period, and only water thereafter. Isolated fruit bodies fed with filtered glucose, trehalose, sucrose, or mannitol grew better than on water. Maltose and fructose increased elongation only slightly, and sorbose had no effect. Potato extract, yeast extract, and casein hydrolysate gave no or very little growth promotion, but addition of glucose strongly increased growth on the natural extracts compared to glucose alone. Of 21 amino acids added separately to glucose, only asparagine, hydroxyproline, arginine, and to a lesser extent glutamine, stimulated growth of isolated fruit bodies. Growth was not promoted by pure asparagine, glutamine, and serine, or by thiamin or indoleacetic acid. Growth was inhibited by urea, ammonium nitrate, and ammonium tartrate with or without glucose.Growth promoting substances were most effective in young fruit bodies and except for glucose the promotion disappeared in fruit bodies isolated at 6.1–7.0 cm length, which corresponds to the end of the period of rapid elongation. Apical portions of fruit bodies with caps grew better on glucose than whole fruit bodies. Growth of decapitated isolated stipes was not promoted by nutrients.

A type of cross-linking starch microsphere (CSMs) has been synthesized via reversed phase suspension method. Crosslinked starch microsphere has good adsorption performance to metal ions in water. The adsorption kinetics of Co (II) on the CSMs, selectivity of adsorption CSMs towards Co (II),Cu (II),Pb (II),Cd (II) and adsorption effects of media towards Co (II) were investigated. The CSMs and its adsorption product were comparatively characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results showed that The adsorption rate is mainly controlled by liquid film diffusion, and the constant of adsorption rate is 0.0686min-1 at 308K. The crystal structure of the CSMs decreased greatly after the incorporation of Co (II). Co (II) has better adsorption selectivity on CSMs. Ions coexist and other substances in the solution have certain impact on adsorption. Those data are helpful for treatment of the wastewater containing heavy ions.
