The work is devoted to the development of integrated thermostating subsystem of a high-precision system for measuring the thickness of hot metal rolling. The developed thermostatting subsystem includes active and passive modules, which ensured thermostability of the measuring modules at the level of 0.5 degrees in a hot metallurgical workshop. Thermal stabilization made it possible to ensure high accuracy in measuring the thickness of hot metal rolling in a hot metallurgical production workshop.

This paper introduces an automatic ultrasonic wall thickness measurement system, which adopts the way that the tube billet is partially immersed in the water during the measurement, applied in wall abrasive grinding of nuclear fuel encrust tube billet. Meanwhile, the main components of the measurement system, as well as their characters and functions, are addressed. What’s more, the analysis of the factors, which influencing the system stability and measuring reliability, are also conducted, coupling with the system stability and measuring reliability demonstration.

This thesis introduces a low cost and high precision temperature cycle measurement system with adoption of PT100 as temperature sensor, with single chip computer as the core. The method of sub-three-wire connection is proposed for engineering practice, then, can eliminate the effects of lead wire resistance and simplify the external cable connection. We discuss and research circuit component selection, circuit design, improving system reliability, and a software method of piecewise linearization process is adopted, thus we ensure exact and reliable measure and the system characteristic of low cost and high precision.

This paper introduces ultrasonic ranging system which can be applied to avoid obstacle and navigate for mobile robot .This system is composed of AT89S51 single chip microcomputer ,ultrasonic transmitting circuit, ultrasonic receiving circuit, amplifying and filtering circuit , peak value time detecting circuit, environment temperature compensation circuit. The method of echo peak time detection point is used to eliminate the error. It is proved that The maximum range of the system is 10 meter and maximum measurement error can be controlled to± 2 cm or so. This system has such merits as rapid corresponding, high precision, high performance price rate.
