This paper estimates the fatigue residual life of bridge crane with probability distribution model of stress spectrum, which influences the main parameters of the stress characteristics of the fatigue accounting point.Random sample of load spectrum parameters are produced by Latin hypercube. We can use the dynamic simulation model to calculate the stress-time history during the entire simulation at the accounting point of fatigue, and then with rainflow counting to obtain the double parameters stress spectrum. The result is that the bridge crane has 22630 lifting cycles and 37566 stress cycles in two years of an inspection cycle, and stress spectrum includes 10 stress amplitude and mean stress.

This paper describes the results of measurements and analysis of the parameters, characterizing technical state of offshore platforms in Vietnam Sea. Based on decreasing in time material characteristics because of corrosion and local destruction assessment on residual life time of platforms is given and variants for its repair are recommended. The results allowed to confirm advantage of proposed technical diagnostic method in comparison with others and have been used for oil and gas platform of Joint Venture "Vietsovpetro" in South Vietnam.

The article presents new models and methods for estimating the residual service life of an autonomous energy system, using the functional operational risk criterion (FOR). The purpose of the article is to demonstrate a new method of durability evaluation using the fuzzy logic and soft computing framework. Durability in the article is understood as a complex property directly adjacent to the complex property of system resilience, as understood in the Western practice of assessing and ensuring the reliability of technical systems. Due to the lack of reliable homogeneous statistics on system equipment failures and recoveries, triangular fuzzy estimates of failure and recovery intensities are used as fuzzy functions of time based on incomplete data and expert estimates. The FOR in the model is the possibility for the system availability ratio to be below the standard level. An example of the evaluation of the FOR and the residual service life of a redundant cold supply system of a special facility is considered. The transition from the paradigm of structural reliability to the paradigm of functional reliability based on the continuous degradation of the technological parameters of an autonomous energy system is considered. In this case, the FOR can no longer be evaluated by the criterion of a sudden failure, nor is it possible to build a Markov’s chain on discrete states of the technical system. Assuming this, it is appropriate to predict the defi ning functional parameters of a technical system as fuzzy functions of a general form and to estimate the residual service life of the technical system as a fuzzy random variable. Then the FOR is estimated as the possibility for the residual life of the technical system to be below its warranty period, as determined by the supplier of the equipment.

The effectiveness of manufacturing equipment use taking into account its productivity and reliability for faulty parts of transmission units in municipal buses is estimated. The on-line mode is the most effective method of control allowing the tracking of the processes of technical state changes in municipal buses. As a result of monitoring there were obtained selected data on PAZ-3205 municipal bus operated under winter conditions in the city of Ohrenburg. During the trip there was recorded 39.1 l/100km petrol consumption. The residual life of the PAZ-3205 municipal bus was 1800km.

Approaches and algorithms for processing experimental data and data obtained as a result of using modern means of measuring equipment, selecting diagnostic parameters, pattern recognition, which constitute the methodological basis for developing methods and designing tools for creating a service system for complex industrial facilities based on predicting their performance and residual life are described in submitted article. Along with classical methods, methods based on using the full potential of the modern elemental base of microprocessor technology and the use of artificial neural networks, machine learning, and "big data" are discovered. The given examples can serve as the basis for constructing a methodology for the application of the considered approaches for organizing predictive maintenance of complex industrial equipment. An analytical review of a number of scientific publications showed that the creation of new automated diagnostic systems that can increase fault tolerance and extend the life of sophisticated modern power equipment is extremely relevant. For this, various approaches are applied, based on mathematical models, expert systems, artificial neural networks and other algorithms. Summarizing the results of scientific publications, it can be argued that the implementation of a systematic approach to the organization of repair service at the enterprise requires a comprehensive solution to the following urgent problems: • monitoring is formulated as the task of interrogating sensors and collecting information necessary for further analysis; • diagnostics, it is solved as tasks of identifying informative signs with further detection and classification of failures and anomalies in data sets; • improving the accuracy of algorithms aimed at pattern recognition; • condition forecasting is the task of assessing the current and accumulated readings of monitoring systems for making decisions regarding either a specific element of the complex or the facilities. Thus, modern technology make it possible to arrange arbitrarily complex algorithms. However, to use the full potential that artificial neural networks, expert systems, and classical methods for identifying and diagnosing equipment it is necessary to have a conceptual development of the foundations of building systems for organizing maintenance and repair of complex energy equipment
