This paper designs a bi-directional hydraulic lock used in a large flow hydraulic system for controllable pitch propeller. The lock is used to resist the hydraulic cylinder shifting when the pitch reaches the presetting situation. The structure parameters of the lock are obtained by static design, and the dynamic performance of it is analyzed by modeling and simulation with the system on rated load. The dynamic simulating discovers the faults of the lock designing by static calculating and the results provide sufficient supports for its parameters optimization.

Abstract The DCTs have increased in prevalence for achieving power uninterrupted shifting and pre-shift process significantly influences the DCTs shift quality. Research on the multistage and nonlinear characteristics of the gear preselect process is not comprehensive so that there are shortcomings such as high impact, long synchronization time and poor economy. In view of above detrimental phenomenon, control parameters optimization is conducted in order to realize fast, smooth and economic pre-shifting on the basis of analyzing the sensitivity of the factors affecting pre-shift process. Considering the engagement of sleeve, synchro ring and dog gear, the multi-body dynamics theory is applied to establish an accurate synchronizer dynamics model. Based on the model, simulations are conducted to confirm factors like sleeve mass, cone angle fluctuating the pre-shift quickness and smoothness, sorting structure parameters according to factors sensitivity. Furthermore, the formula of energy loss characteristics relating to two control parameters which are pre-shift force and pre-shift trigger time is obtained, deriving from exploring the hydraulic loss caused by pre-shift force and the drag torque energy loss created by pre-shift trigger time. The optimal synchronizer structure parameters are obtained by adopting multi-objective optimization method. Simulation results indicate the optimal control parameters improve pre-shift comprehensive performance including quickness, smoothness and economy compared with conventional scheme.

set of shell is an important process on lithium battery production line. Research is applicable to automatic set of lithium battery shell of an organization, the installed baffle set into the very core of battery shell, do not harm the very core, set into the very core of the exposed aluminum shell of the same length. This article put forward from the aspects of kinematics and dynamics of multiple optimization objectives, work in a given space and a variety of constraint conditions, with the aid of the NSGA - II algorithm to complete set of shell machine structure parameters optimization, experiments show that the casing precision of the equipment, set of shell and the percent of pass is up to 99 above, has a certain practical significance.

The black soil of Northeast China has a strong adhesion ability because of its unique physical properties, and the soil often adheres to the surface of the grouser shoes of tracked vehicles during the operation. The adhesion performance depends largely on structure parameters of the grouser shoes. The grouser height, the grouser thickness, and the grouser splayed angle were selected as structure parameters. The adhesion force and adhesive soil mass were selected as indicators of adhesion performance. Therefore, the mathematical model between structure parameters and response indicators was established by the response surface method (RSM). The optimal parameters combination was that the grouser height was 20 mm, grouser thickness was 6.34 mm, and grouser splayed angle was 40.45°. The average data of verification experiments occurred when the adhesion force reached 1.11 kPa and adhesive soil mass reached 22.68 g. Compared with the average value of un-optimized experiment results, the adhesion force and adhesive soil mass reduced by 12.84% and 4.63%, respectively. The relative error of the predicted values and measured values was less than 5%, proving the reliability of the regression models. This study could provide a reference method for parameters optimization, and a new structure of the grouser shoes of tracked vehicles will be designed to reduce adhesion.

This paper introduces working principle of screw oscillating hydraulic cylinder. Structure parameters and process parameters influence on mechanical efficiency is analyzed, simultaneously, structure parameters and process parameters influence on volumetric efficiency is also analyzed. the maximum mechanical efficiency and optimal spiral angle are acquired. Total transmission efficiency model is established. Transmission efficiency experimental test is carried out, experiment test efficiency is basically in accordance with calculated efficiency.

For calibrating the X-band equipment in the TT&C ship based on wireless communication, we design a high gain rectangular horn antenna. Through analysing the theory of structure, the antenna’s preliminary size parameter is estimated and it is simulated based on HFSS. The antenna structure parameters are obtained after parameters optimization. The results of simulation indicate that the design of antenna indexes meet the needs completely. The structure of antenna is compact and it easy to process. The simulation method in the paper may also be referred to other related design.
