Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh model pembelajaran Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) terhadap kompetensi literasi sains siswa, 2) pengaruh kemampuan akademik (tinggi, sedang dan rendah)  terhadap kompetensi literasi sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest-only group design dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 3. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA N 2 Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian tertulis, lembar observasi dan dokumen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Analisi Variansi Dua Jalan sedangkan uji lanjut menggunakan Uji Scheffe. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) model pembelajaran Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) berpengaruh nyata terhadap kompetensi literasi sains, 2) kemampuan akademik tidak berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi literasi sains. The influence of peer-led guided inquiry toward  competency of scientific literacy viewed from academic ability AbstractThe purposes of this research are to ascertain: 1) the influence of Peer Led Guided Inquiry model towards competency of scientific literacy, 2) the influence of academic ability toward competency of scientific literacy. The research was quasi experiment research. The research was designed using posttest-only group design with factorial design 2 x 3. The population of this research were all of 11th degree student at SMA N 2 Sukoharjo in academic year 2018/2019. The sample of this research were student of XI MIPA 3 as experiment group and XI MIPA 4 as control group. The sample of this research was established by cluster random sampling. The data was collected essay test, observation form, and document. The hypotheses analyzed by Anova Two Ways. The research concluded that 1) Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) model had significant effect toward competency of scientific literacy, 2) the academic ability didn’t has significant effect toward competency of scientific literacy.

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran TGT (Teams Games Tournament) menggunakan sandi semaphore pramuka terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh tipe kepribadian siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. (3) Untuk mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan tipe kepribadian siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasy experiment research. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan angket tipe kepribadian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan analisis variansi dua jalan sel tak sama. Menurut hasil penelitian dan perhitungan uji analisis variansi dua jalan sel tak sama didapatkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran TGT (Teams Games Tournament) menggunakan sandi semaphore pramuka terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. (2) Tidak terdapat pengaruh tipe kepribadian siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan tipe kepribadian siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

The overarching purpose of this study was to measure how the sub-constructs of EFL reading motivation were influenced at both of their belief and action levels when the teacher gave more opportunity for the students to read and complete the tasks on their own purposes. Participants in this study were 70 students in 2 General English classes in a university in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The research was conducted using the pretest-posttest design in quasi-experiment research. To collect data, a questionnaire and focus group interview topics was created based on the Motivation for Reading Questionnaire (MRQ). Employing SPSS 25 software, the researcher ran Paired-sample T-test and One Way ANOVA to check the significant of the results from both of the control and experimental classes. It can be concluded that an increase in reading motivation and a more positive attitude toward reading have been confirmed. Noticeably, changes were observed to be developed at different degrees in all of the 8 constructs of the MRQ.

Latar Belakang: Cookies merupakan salah satu jenis kudapan atau kue kering yang ringan yang renyah, tipis, datar (gepeng) yang populer di masyarakat. Penambahan tepung ikan lokal pada cookies dilakukan sebagai alternatif peningkatan konsumsi ikan yang berkontribusi meningkatkan asupan khususnya protein, dan kalsium. Tujuan: Mengetahui perubahan protein, lemak, kalsium dan air pada cookies pelangi ikan gaguk dengan penyimpanan selama 0 minggu, 6 minggu dan 12 minggu. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan experiment research yang meliputi tiga tahap yaitu: pembuatan tepung ikan gaguk dan tempe, serta pembuatan cookies dan penyimpanan cookies. Cookies dilakukan penyimpanan hingga batas waktu 0, 6, dan 12 minggu dan dilakukan uji protein, lemak, kalsium dan air. Pengujian kadar protein cookies menggunakan uji Kjeldahl, kadar lemak menggunakan uji Soxhlet, dan kadar kalsium menggunakan spektrofotometer. Perubahan zat gizi yang didapatkan diuji menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa protein, lemak, kalsium dan air cookies ikan gaguk mengalami perubahan pada masa simpan 6 minggu. Kadar protein mengalami penurunan dari 9,67% menjadi 8,12%. Kadar lemak mengalami penurunan dari 32% menjadi 31,8%. Kadar kalsium juga mengalami penurunan dari 34% menjadi 32,4%. Kadar air mengalami peningkatan dari 6,35% menjadi 11,4%. Kesimpulan: Kandungan protein, lemak, kalsium dan air pada durasi penyimpanan berbeda memiliki kandungan yang berbeda pula. Terjadi penurunan kadar protein, lemak dan kalsium cookies ikan gaguk selama disimpan dan peningkatan kadar air cookies ikan gaguk selama disimpan.

Quantifying the effect of rail transit on vehicular traffic helps policy makers understand its transportation benefits. Previous studies seldom consider the effect over time and the influence of confounding factors. We apply a quasi-experiment research design to explore the evolving impact of the Green Line light rail transit on vehicular traffic in the Twin Cities, controlling for road classification, land use, and transit supply. The results show that rail transit is a substitute for automobile traffic, but induced and diverted trips gradually reduce the substitution effect. The reduced effect suggests that rail transit improves transportation system performance.

Pycnonotus jocosus is known as red-whiskered bulbul or known by local Malaysian as songbird or burung candik. Burung candik is one of the favourite pet birds’. Generally, it comes from Bangladesh, southern China, India, Nepal, north Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam (Animal Pest Alert: Red-whiskered Bulbul). Burung candik is favoured because of their ability in singing in east-coast region of Malaysia specifically. In this research, the caring practices are observed. All the result were recorded and documented through interview and experiment research. The caring practices concerned are housing and cage, bathing and grooming, singing feature and diet and feeding. The results showed that one cage equipped with one bird for comfort and to avoid fighting. The birds were needed to be bathed once in a week at least according to the bird’s willingness. General singing functions are to attract the mate and territorial defense. Feed given were insects, fruits and pellet.

This study aimed to find out the effect of using indirect corrective feedback to eliminate grammatical errors in students' writing. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Padang Panjang because most of students still encounter problems in mastering writing text especially grammatical aspect. Most of the students' writing was founded many of grammatical error. Then, the students still did not get the appropriate feedback of the teacher toward their errors. And, the teacher also did not give the spesific feedback or treatment to help the students in reducing the error. This research used pre-experiment research. The researcher used one-group pretest posttest design. To determine sample, the researcher used purposive sampling technique. The data got from the pre-test and post-test in experiment class. To analyze the data, the resercher used the normality test and homogeneity test by using SPSS Statistics20 and to test the hypothesis the researcher used t-test formula and consulted the result into t-table with level of significant a=0.05. From the result and accounting the post-test of experiment class,it was founded that using indirect corrective feedback in eliminate grammatical error had better result than without indirect coreective feedback. It can be seen by comparing the t-obtained (2) that higher than the t-table (1.706).
