In order to meet the needs of modern intelligent agricultural detection, this paper designs and develops a novel energy-saving intelligent wireless agricultural detecting system combined with technologies green power supply, wireless transmission and digital control. This system can be powered by green energy resources such as solar energy or wind power and combined with digital control and wireless communication technologies it can achieve collection of a large amount of parameters in terms of modern agricultural cultivation, which will meet the needs of different application scenarios. Results of repeated experiments have shown that it has such advantages as being green and environment-friendly, flexible and reliable.

Energy is an effective economic power which can provide people with their basic necessities such as health, education, accommodation and protection. Increasing energy efficiency depends on development of the ability of energy sources with the combination of minimum posible cost, minimum risk and environment friendly facilities. Small and Medium Sized Entrerprises (SME) those can reflect this productivity of environment friendly energy to their production can be the cornerstone of social and economic development which is the determining economic factor in the countries’ social and economic development process. It is obvious that one of the main inputs of economic and social development is energy and providing it by using alternative sources is one of the most important parameters of sustainable development. Intense usage of fossil fuels causes a dependent condition in which SME’s cannot afford their energy demands totally by their own resources. As a result of an awareness research about alternative energy sources that will increase SME’s competitive capacity and sectoral tendency towards green energy sources, it is seen that consciousness of alternative energy and trends towards renewable energy resources are not strong enough. It is also identified that their level of awareness about how much their efficiency might be affected as a result of using new energy resources is rather low. Shortly in the frame of Vision 2023, recognising the main alternative energy resources of Turkey, it aims to identify the effects of tendency of SME’s towards alternative energy resources on their productivity.

The paper considers the problems of designing autonomous power supply systems using the renewable energy resources. The efficiency of using energy resources in conditions of growing prices for electricity brings significant saving of both energy and financial factors. The analyses show that the main losses of energy resources are the result of inefficient use, distribution and consumption of electrical energy. There has been stated one of the most important problems of energy saving: many existing consumers are located at a significant distance from centralized power supply systems. Today connecting such consumers to large power grids is economically inexpedient. These facilities are supplied from the stand-alone power plants. According to the program of energy saving and energy efficiency improvement of FGC UES, PJSC, reducing electricity consumption for auxiliary needs of transformer substations is one of the main mechanisms for the program implementation.

Small embedded systems operating in unattended conditions do need to be perpetually powered if a truly pervasive paradigm is envisaged. Harvesting energy from the surrounding environment seems to be the best option. For that, a set of systems has been proposed featuring interesting solutions but not yet capable of overcoming some issues like performance and flexibility. The authors propose a novel design for an environmental energy harvesting power supply that not only can work with multiple energy sources but also can extract the maximum possible energy from them. Additionally, it can provide important information concerning the energy resources of the system. Focusing particularly on the system’s design, the authors present results from a reference implementation that highlight the low wasted power and high efficiency characteristics of the system.

The adjustable high-power distributed DC power supply controlled by DSP presented in this article is a new type of electronic power supply. Considering the features of modern power system, this article discusses and compares the principles of technical design and application of the adjustable high-power distributed DC power supply controlled by DSP with those of traditional DC power supply. The result suggests that the adjustable high-power distributed DC power supply controlled by DSP is easy to install, energy-saving and environment-friendly. It also has the characteristics of lower cost and higher performance.
