Educational organizations have to face logistic hurdle when introducing remote learning using mobile devices. Unlike the introduction of a new textbook, the introduction of e-learning into educational environment requires adaptation, on the physical as well as the human infrastructure levels. The case study below describe such a move in a regional high school in Israel and presents the major logistic question the move presented to the school and other interested parties. The answers may differ from country to country but the questions seem to be more generalize, and therefore should at least be considered when preparing for the move. The paper ends with some of the lessons learnt, and recommendations for the future.

The development of information technology that continues to grow in all aspects of life which makes human work more efficient and effective. The current COVID-19 pandemic is one of the conditions in which people's activities are hindered and limited in their daily activities. The application of Information Technology is a solution that can be applied for the sustainability of community activities in the midst of this pandemic, one of which is the education sector. Edmodo's E-Learning system is one of the most widely used e-learning systems for the teaching and learning process. The application of e-learning certainly changes the way students learn from offline to online. EUCS (end-user computing satisfaction) is one of the methods used to analyze user satisfaction of an information system, where this method has 5 variables, namely content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. The case study of Senior High School 1 Sampang will be the object of this research, where the EUCS method is used to measure the satisfaction of end users of the Edmodo E-Learning system. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to active students at Senior High School 1 Sampang by obtaining a sample of 80 respondents. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the EUCS method can be applied to the Edmodo E-Learning system at Senior High School 1 Sampang because the data obtained from the respondents was declared valid and reliable so that it can be relied upon in measuring end user satisfaction with the Edmodo E-learning system, while the factors - the factors of the EUCS method that affect the satisfaction of the end user of the Edmodo E-Learning system at Srnior High School 1 Sampang are the content and accuracy factors.

E-learning has been adopted for several years in Greece and abroad, and it is considered an integral part of blended learning. E-learning systems accumulate a vast amount of data which may be very valuable. The educational organizations may exploit the power provided by e-learning, if they analyze the usage and the content of the courses. An early assessment of the of e-courses use may provide useful information to the educators, in order to make educational interventions in their teaching material. This study suggests that the evaluation of e-learning usage may be carried out with the assesment of variables and metrics related to teacher training material and student trafficking. We propose three metrics which are combined efficiently, in order to quantify the quality characteristics of the courses and offer useful insights about the educational material and e-learning usage. This case study was implemented in the e-class platform of a Greek Higher Education educational institute. This platform created by the Greek Universities Network (GUNET) is very popular in Greece, since the majority of the Greek universities have adopted it. The results of our study confirmed the validity of our suggested approach, and highlighted the need for a more learner-centered focus and active participation of the students.

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in higher education has created totally a new environment which is fundamentally different from the traditional learning methods. The objectives of the study were to get the view of the University Grants Commission (UGC) about e-learning system and to investigate the possibilities of formalizing its implementation in the universities in future. As it is an exploratory study, the case study method was deemed appropriate. The result of the study shows that the UGC is favorable on the implementation of a campus-wide e-learning system in all universities. Though there is no formal policy on the embarkation of e-learning mode so far, it encourages the universities to adopt the system. This paper has also highlighted the possible areas for the early implementation of the e-learning mode and other requirements that should be considered for the future adoption of e-learning system.

This article presents a case study of the Australian children’s television programme, First Day (ABC Australia 2020–present), which depicts a young transgender girl’s experiences beginning high school. The article explores the screenwriting process involved in creating inclusive and diverse children’s television, drawing on an original interview with Julie Kalceff, the show’s screenwriter and director. Kalceff discusses her screenwriting process writing for and about children who occupy liminal and marginal spaces and the research, writing and consultation processes undertaken to create her pioneering work with trans characters as lead protagonists. The resulting series explores the universal experience of starting the high school journey, while allowing for a normalizing of gender diversity on-screen – hopefully the first of many of its type in the future. By foregrounding historically marginalized characters, screenwriters can explore universal social, psychological and physical trials, and in the process, break down stigmas surrounding LGBTQ people.
