The purpose of this research is to study the relationship among Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL) features on students' perceived motivational support and cognitive investment. The research used a multiple regression for data analysis across a sample of 200 students in to a public higher learning institution in Federal Territory of Labuan Malaysia. Their participation was purely voluntary. Empirical analysis via multiple regressions confirmed that students' perceived motivational support and cognitive investment was influenced positively by Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL) features. The results may be used to inform higher education institutes students' on how to design DGBL for the college students. How the DGBL works on college students' perceived motivational support and cognitive investment. The results of this study offers a new forward motion to the findings of prior studies on develop a consolidated design model to consider all identified empirical relationships in order to support efficient DGBL in higher education.

Digital game-based learning (DGBL) enhances critical thinking and improves college students' commitment. This study seeks to inspect the effects of digital game-based learning features on student perceived motivational support and cognitive investment. Data was analyzed via multiple regression to assess the relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. Results revealed that students in UMSLIC were significantly affected by factors such as game structure, game involvement, game appeal, attention, relevance, satisfaction, and cognitive investment. What's more, game involvement and game appeal of DGBL shows that students are more interested. Furthermore, attractive graphics and animations make the students more interested to use DGBL. The game allows the students to roleplay, and the challenges make them fun and more interested throughout the game. It promotes the students to engage deeply in the playing process.

The purpose of this study is to describe the development of entrepreneurial skills of college students in the intercultural context of Mexico. By a non-probability sampling method, a sample of 120 students from an intercultural institution of higher education in the Southeastern Mexico was selected, from which two groups (<em>Indigenous</em> and <em>Mestizos</em>) were obtained to perform the corresponding statistical analyses. The first group was integrated by indigenous students (<em>n </em>= 55) and the second group by mestizos (<em>n </em>= 65). For data analysis, the Student <em>t </em>test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used. The results showed no significant differences in the entrepreneurial skills between both groups. However, significant differences were obtained when considering the educational programs offered by the intercultural institution, where the program in sustainable rural development was the one that obtained a higher level regarding the development of entrepreneurial skills. This research contributes with empirical evidence to the knowledge on interculturality in this country.

Digital game-based learning (DGBL) has been identified as an effective digital teaching strategy to foster 21st century learning. The inclusion of digital game-based learning in instruction is challenging for educators to structure in higher education learning environments, often because of the lack of coherence with curriculum. Gamification is a recent DGBL strategy that enables the instructor to incorporate the motivational and engagement elements of games in ways that can be adapted to curriculum requirements. Gamification, supported with digital technologies such as web-based tools and learning management systems, offers the instructor the benefits of both face-to-face traditional instruction and online learning. An example of how blended learning in higher education incorporates gamification is presented. Study findings indicate that the blended gamified learning environment motivated learners and promoted cognitive, skill, and attitude development.

<p class="apa">This study examines the relationship between mathematics test anxiety and numerical anxiety on students’ mathematics achievement. 140 pre-university students who studied at one of the institutes of higher learning were being investigated. Gender issue pertaining to mathematics anxieties was being addressed besides investigating the magnitude of the variables for mathematics test anxiety and numerical anxiety. The data revealed that there was a positive correlation between mathematics test anxiety and numerical anxiety on students’ mathematics achievement. Results of the multiple regressions showed that all the variables of mathematics anxieties were statistically significant on students’ mathematics achievement. Non-parametric tests also revealed that mathematics anxiety was statistically significant in measuring students’ mathematics achievement.</p>

This study aims to determine the relationship between lonely with narcissistic tendencies. The hypothesis of this study states that there is a negative relationship between lonely with narcissistic tendencies, assuming that the higher the lonely is, the lower the narcissistic tendencies, and conversely the lower the lonely is, the higher the narcissistic tendencies will be. The subjects of this study were 256 college students of Universitas Prima Indonesia. Datas were obtained from scales used to measure turnover intention and work stress. Calculations were performed by testing the analysis requirements (assumption) that consisted of tests for normality and linearity. The data were analyzed using Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 20 for Windows. The results of the data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient was – 0,414 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). It showed that there is a negative relationship between lonely and narcissistic tendencies. The results of this study indicate that the contributions made by the variable of work stress on turnover intention was 17,2 percent, while the remaining 82,8 percent was influenced by other factors that were not examined. From these results, it is concluded that the hypothesis, which stated that there is a negative relationship between the lonely and narcissistic tendencies, is acceptable.

The purpose of this paper is to assess gender norms among students towards equality in higher education in Malaysia. The study was conducted in two higher learning institutions such as International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in Malaysia. A total of 300 students (77 males & 223 females) were selected as the respondents using purposive sampling method. A survey research design was employed in this study. Questionnaires were completed in a supervised setting by the research protocol. The first objective of this study was to assess student’s attitudes towards equality at higher education institutions. Results revealed that despite the majority of the respondents showed favorable attitudes towards equality; less favorable attitude towards gender equality was noted with respect on religious leadership and boys’ priority over girls in education. The study examined whether there is any difference between male and female student’s attitudes towards equality. Results showed that female students tended to have more egalitarian or non-traditional attitudes than male students towards equality. The paper analyzed the relationship between the demographic characteristics and student’s attitudes towards equality. The results revealed that the ethnicity, region of residence, father’s educational level have positive associations with student’s attitudes towards equality. Campus data analysis is becoming increasingly important in mining students’ behavior. The consumption data of college students is an important part of the campus data, which can reflect the students’ behavior to a great degree. A few methods have been used to analyze students’ consumption data, such as classification, association rules, clustering, decision trees, time series, etc. However, they do not use the method of sequential patterns mining, which results in some important information missing. Moreover, they only consider the occurring (positive) events but do not consider the nonoccurring (negative) events, which may lead to some important information missing. So this paper uses a positive and negative sequential patterns mining algorithm, called NegI-NSP, to analyze the consumption data of students. Moreover, we associate students’ consumption data with their academic grades by adding the students’ academic grades into sequences to analyze the relationship between the students’ academic grades and their consumptions. The experimental results show that the students’ academic performance has significant correlation with the habits of having breakfast regularly.

For Christian college students, the journey toward vocation can be hindered by faith-based anxiety. The relationship between students and mentors in Christian higher education offers a unique, optimum space to explore these beliefs. Christians in academia have invaluable personal experience in integrating their faith and career, and have much to teach the next generation in courageously engaging both mind and heart when making vocational choices. Within the professor–student relationship, intentional curiosity and conversation are tools for inquiry and resolution. We have included four common anxieties, with Scripture-based affirmations and challenges to those viewpoints, to model investigating these beliefs with students.
