We present the main aspects of the importance of carrying out quality measurements in multimedia/interactive systems in the current era of expansion of communicability. Besides we disclose the first key elements to carry out techniques and/or methodologies to discover the quality attributes of an interactive system, such as the realization of quality metrics and the process of a heuristic evaluation. A set of examples online and off-line complete the current research work. In this set is stressed the economic importance of the process of evaluation in services and products related to the software, as well as some of the human factors to gain the hegemony of quality control.

The research work presents a set of rhetorical questions with regard to the new profile that an expert or an editor of scientific information must have regarding computer science and other interactive systems online and offline. The main interrelations between the communicator of the new technologies and those who generate or present themselves as authors of those breakthroughs are also presented, that is, the marketing of sciences. Finally, real examples that show how the economic factor prevails over the neutrality of science are inserted.

In this research work, we make known the excellent advantages of the use of computer animations in 3D with the purpose of transferring scientific heritage into paper support to the current generations of users of interactive systems. In it the archetypes factor is analyzed (semiotics perspective) and communicative inference of the analyzed examples. Besides, the main components of the layout category are analyzed, which are related to graphic computing and communicability inside the interface of the interactive system.

Problems arising in the near future may grow larger and more complex beyond the human capability for managing them and it is worrying that this can cause trouble for human society. The only possible way to solve this problem is to make computers more intelligent to back up the weak points of human beings. At least, it is necessary to provide a method for capturing and recording all human decisions in problem-solving. This view leads one to an idea of a computer-led interactive system such that the computer becomes able to manage problem-solving process and makes records of individual decisions made by a human being. Autonomy, generality and practicality are the major requirements for such computer-led interactive systems. New information technology to meet this condition is discussed. It is very different from the conventional computer technology in many aspects. The major topics are: a model-based software architecture for future information systems, a modeling scheme to accept and represent a wide area of problems, a method for externalizing human ideas and of representing it as a model, a method for solving problems represented in the form of a model and so on. It outlines a part of the research work being promoted by the author's group under the sponsorship of the Science and Technology Agency of the Japanese Government.

: Isatin is an endogenous and a significant category of fused heterocyclic component, widely been a part of several potential biologically useful synthetics. Since its discovery, tons of research work has been conducted with respect to the synthesis, chemical properties, and biological and industrial applications. It contains indole nucleus having both lactam and keto moiety which while being a part of a molecular framework exerted several biological effects, viz.; antimicrobial, antitubercular, anticonvulsant, anticancer etc. Isatin derivatives are synthetically significant substrates, which can be utilized for the synthesis of huge diversified chemical entities of which few members emerged to be a drug. The reason for this review is to provide extensive information pertaining to the chemistry and its significance in altering several pathological states of isatin and its derivatives. A Structure Activity Relationships study thus developed through a gamut of scientific information indicates the importance of mostly electron withdrawing groups, halogens, nitro, alkoxy and to a minor extent groups with positive inductive effects, such as methyl at position 1, 5, 6 and 7 of isatin in alleviating several clinical conditions. It is also observed from the survey that the presence of two oxo groups at position 2 and 3 sometimes become insignificant as fusion with a heterocycle at those position resulted in a biologically relevant compound.

AbstractInteractive and immersive technologies can significantly enhance the fruition of museums and exhibits. Several studies have proved that multimedia installations can attract visitors, presenting cultural and scientific information in an appealing way. In this article, we present our workflow for achieving a gaze-based interaction with artwork imagery. We designed both a tool for creating interactive “gaze-aware” images and an eye tracking application conceived to interact with those images with the gaze. Users can display different pictures, perform pan and zoom operations, and search for regions of interest with associated multimedia content (text, image, audio, or video). Besides being an assistive technology for motor impaired people (like most gaze-based interaction applications), our solution can also be a valid alternative to the common touch screen panels present in museums, in accordance with the new safety guidelines imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Experiments carried out with a panel of volunteer testers have shown that the tool is usable, effective, and easy to learn.

The results of research work on unifying the data formats that are required for the implementation of the analytical component in the structure of information systems intended for the solution of expert predictive problems in the sphere of communications and broadcasting are presented. Based on the results of the analysis of the main automated systems and their functional capabilities the necessity of introducing an analytical component into existing and future systems as well as unifying data formats as an indispensable condition for their interaction is substantiated. A set of unified data formats developed for a promising layout of an analytical system for the development of communications and broadcasting is considered.
