Recently, Internet of Things (IoT) has aroused great interest among the educational, scientific research, and industrial communities. Researchers affirm that IoT environments will make people's daily life easier and will lead to superior services, great savings as well as a nifty use of resources. Consequently, IoT merchandise and services will grow exponentially in the upcoming years. The basic idea of IoT is to connect physical objects to the Internet and use that connection to provide some kind of useful remote monitoring or control of those objects. The chapter presents the overall IoT vision, the technologies for achieving it, IoT challenges and its applications. This chapter also attempts to describe and analyze threat types for privacy, security and trust in IoT as well as shows how big data is an important factor in IoT. This chapter will expose the readers and researchers who are interested in exploring and implementing the IoT and related technologies to the progress towards the bright future of the Internet of Things

IOT connected objects are new technologies used to connect objects to the internet and to users. The IOT influences our daily life in several fields such as logistics, health, energy, intelligent vehicles, the smart home or the smart city ... Subsequently, following the specific characteristics of the different areas of use, a multitude IOT applications have been developed and deployed using different IOT frameworks. An IOT framework is a set of rules, protocols and standards that simplify the implementation of IOT applications. The proper functioning and success of these applications depends on the characteristics of the framework, and also on the security mechanisms used. In this article, we will discuss the frameworks used by presenting the proposed architecture of each framework, the compatible hardwares and softwares and the security mechanisms used, then a comparative study of these frameworks will be presented. Finally, we will propose an architecture of a secure IOT framework.

Big data and the internet of things (IoT) are two major ruling domains in today's world. It is observed that there are 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created each day. Big data defines a very huge amount of data in terms of both structured and unstructured formats. Business intelligence and other application domains that have high information density use big data analytics to make predictions and better decisions to improve the business. Big data analytics is used to analyze a high range of data at a time. In general, big data and IoT were built on different technologies; however, over a period of time, both of them are interlinked to build a better world. Companies are not able to achieve maximum benefit, just because the data produced by the applications are not utilized and analyzed effectively as there is a shortage of big data analysts. For real-time IoT applications, synchronization among hardware, programming, and interfacing is needed to the greater extent. The chapter discusses about IoT and big data, relation between them, importance of big data analytics in IoT applications.

Classical architecture is an architectural, cultural heritage with specific historical value. It is also a city with historical and cultural heritage and even a testimony of the profound historical culture of a country. Therefore, urbanization is unavoidable, and it directly influences historical buildings. This study aims to combine the three-dimensional image techniques and the Internet of Things (IoT) technology to research the development of classical architectural artistic style. This article presents the acquisition equipment, methods, precautions, and data processing of real-life 3D image data of the classical architectural heritage. We realized the online publishing of real-world 3D services of classical architectural heritage through the real-world 3D display system developed through the Internet of Things and mobile terminals. The model was verified through simulation tests. The combination of image processing techniques and analysis methods such as simulated annealing improved the accuracy of the prediction model. The proposed model can provide data support for policy formulation, technical intervention, and targeted field investigation on architectural heritage by screening research objects.

In this article, the authors have discussed about the connection between Internet of Things and growth of big data. They have also discussed short reference on the evolution, features, lifecycle, and implementation of Big Data from IoT over the cloud. Internet of Things represents a platform or environment that consists of enormous number of sensors and mediators interconnecting heterogeneous physical devices over the internet. IoT applications are available in many real-world areas such as smart city, smart workplace, smart home, smart transportation and various other ubiquitous computing areas. Using IoT applications generates tremendous amount of data for storage and management in the internet. With the time and research evolution integration of the IoT platforms and cloud comes in the market and IoT platforms data storage and management started shifting to the cloud from the internet connected physical systems for many real-world application areas. Meanwhile when this data becomes huge termed as Big Data. Handling of Big Data over the cloud develops many new areas of research and attention.

The Internet of Things anticipates the combination of physical gadgets to the Internet and their access to wireless sensor data which makes it useful to restrain the physical world. Big Data convergence has many aspects and new opportunities ahead of business ventures to get into a new market or enhance their operations in the current market. The existing techniques and technologies is probably safe to say that the best solution is to use big data tools to provide an analytical solution to the Internet of Things. Based on the current technology deployment and adoption trends, it is visioned that the Internet of Things is the technology of the future; while to-day’s real-world devices can provide best and valuable analytics, and people in the real world use many IOT devices. In spite of all the advertisements that companies offer in connection with the Internet of Things, you as a liable consumer, have the right to be suspicious about IoT advertisements. This paper focuses on the Internet of things concerning reality and what are the prospects for the future.
