Supply chain quality is the assurance of product quality in its full life-cycle. Although supply chain quality control is a hot topic among researchers, supply chain quality prediction is actually an important but unsolved problem in manufacturing industry. In this paper, an approach of manufacturing supply chain quality prediction based on quality satisfaction degree is proposed to control supply chain better, in order to help ensure product quality. Supply chain quality prediction 3D model and model based on customer satisfaction and process control are established firstly. And then technologies used in quality prediction are studied, including quality prediction index system established on Expert scoring -AHP and prediction workflow built on ABPM. Finally an example is given to illustrate this approach. The customer satisfaction prediction result of supply chain quality can help supply chain management, and the quality prediction software system can make it easier, which provides a new direction for the product quality control technology research.

The collaborative development of complex products has gradually developed into a “main manufacturer-suppliers” mode, under which the manufacturing enterprises form a complex product collaborative manufacturing supply chain network. Quality risks which bring enormous hidden danger to the product quality can be propagated and accumulate along the supply chain. It is of great significance to quantify the propagation mechanism of quality risk between supply chain network nodes and identify the key quality risk factor that causes fluctuation of product quality. This study for the first time applies the SoV into the research on quality risk propagation of complex product collaborative manufacturing supply chain network. Firstly, this paper uses the CN to construct a complex product collaborative manufacturing supply chain network according to its characteristics. Secondly, on the basis of SoV, the quality risk propagation model is established. Thirdly, we put forward a method to identify the key quality risk factors of supply chain network based on the risk propagation effect. Lastly, a numerical simulation is given to verify the effectiveness of the model and its identification method. The results reveal that the quality risk propagation includes the vertical propagation within enterprises and the horizontal propagation from the lower-level enterprises to the upper-level enterprises of the supply chain. The quality risks of an enterprise are determined by its own quality risk factors and the quality risk passed by the lower-level enterprises.

Abstract To circumvent the possibility of business failure, small to medium enterprises in emerging economies face mounting pressure to increase the satisfaction of their customers. The adoption of supply chain management practices is critical to the provision of quality products and services as well as the satisfaction of customers by small to medium enterprises. This paper investigated the relationship between customer satisfaction, supply chain management practices and three input factors; namely, product quality, flexibility and product variety in small to medium enterprises. The study adopted a quantitative approach in which a four section questionnaire was distributed to 131 managers in small to medium enterprises based in Gauteng Province, South Africa. Hypotheses were tested using regression analysis. The results of the study revealed that product quality and flexibility predicted supply chain management practices. Supply chain management practices were also statistically significant, and mediated the relationship between customer satisfaction and product quality and flexibility. Based on these results, conclusions were drawn and appropriate recommendations were made.

Numerous manufacturing processes require extremely low levels of nanoparticulate contamination to ensure product quality. While modern filters efficiently remove nanoparticles, online monitoring of the cleanliness of possibly reactive process gases is frequently necessary for quality control purposes. For most manufacturing processes, product quality depends on the concentration of particles above a specific threshold size. This paper will describe how to design an online nanoparticle monitoring system (NMS) for reactive (and inert) process gases from commercially available components, and will discuss how to adapt this system to varying process requirements, such as particle threshold size, and type and pressure of process gas. This paper will also describe a method to determine experimentally the performance of an NMS to ensure quality control.

Aircraft is a complex product, and the Supply-Chain System of Aircraft Manufacturing has many characters which containing hierarchy structure, wide contents in each level, complex relationship between providers etc. So it has a great significance to do research on this. After studying the Kleinberg model and analyzing the characters of providers’ data in Aircraft Manufacturing industry, advanced changes of the Kleinberg model are made, and also the data of Supply-Chain of Aircraft Manufacturing is projected to circle structure, base on these two factors a advanced hierarchical navigable Kleinberg model is proposed, it is more suitable for the Aircraft Manufacturing Supply Chain and its structure is corresponding with the structure of Aircraft Manufacturing Supply Chain. From this advanced model we can do easier research on Supply-Chain System of Aircraft Manufacturing than Kleinberg model.

Sayur Organik Merbabu with the highest level of sales reach 1018 kg / month. One factor that needs to be considered in production process is product quality, because it will have an impact on customer satisfaction. However, there are obstacles in the production process, namely the nature of plants that are very susceptible to damage and broken if not treated properly. So it is necessary to conduct a quality analysis of Japanese spinach on an ongoing basis to reduce the level of damage. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of defects and factors that affect the quality of Japanese spinach. This research was conducted on January 16 to February 20, 2020 with qualitative descriptive methods and using quality control tools such as check sheets, histograms, control maps, pareto and fishbone. The number of informants used consisted of business owners, workers, partner farmers and distributors. After doing the research, five types of defects were found, namely defective leaves, broken stems, yellow leaves, dwarf plants and stems or leaf rot, with the highest percentage of defects being defective leaves. While the factors that influence the quality of Japanese spinach are found, namely human factors, methods, and the environment supported by making fishbone diagrams.
