Influences and Intention of Consumer's Online Shopping Decision

Many researchers in Jordan tried to study customers' behavior in the domain of online shopping to understand consumers' attitudes and behaviors towards the adoption process. Still, a lot of work is to be done as customers real usage and adoption level is low which entails more research to be done to investigate the main reasons behind such behavior. In response, this article aims to shed light on consumers' attitudes towards online shopping decisions and extends the technology acceptance model ease of use, perceived usefulness) of the technology acceptance model (TAM) with four factors (trust, security, privacy, and risk). As such, 200 undergraduate and postgraduate students from Yarmouk University formulate the sample of this study. Findings indicate that the six factors are significantly impact consumers' intention to adopt online shopping. Additionally, the F-test of this study indicates that a linear relationship exists between the model's variables and consequently they can be utilized to study this process.

E-learning is a form of education that is increasingly being used in higher education in the developed world. The aim of the study was to evaluating students’ satisfaction of e-Learning. In this research, we apply and use the theory of technology acceptance model (TAM). We employ structural equation modelling (SEM) approach with SmartPLS software to investigate students’ adoption process. Findings indicates that the perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and intention to use e-learning among university students have a positive impact and substantially associated with learning performance and learning satisfaction. The study concludes that university students in Malaysia have positive perceptions towards e-learning and intend to practice it for educational purposes

Satisfaction is one sign of the success of a product or service in this case in the form of online shopping sites. Satisfaction assessed if users feel the achievement of a goal from the user. This study aimed to analyze the influence of variables contained in an online shopping website that quality systems, quality of information, perception of usefulness, ease of use to the user satisfaction. This research used experimental methods and quantitative data in the form of a questionnaire. The results showed that the three hypotheses were rejected and 4 received. Results of the data analysis using methods DeLone and McLean combined with Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and PLS SEM showed that the three factors that influence user satisfaction is the quality of the system, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness.

AbstractThis study aims to verify and propose a modified technology acceptance model (TAM) to understand the antecedents of e-textbook adoption among college students. An extended TAM is to investigate college students’ intention to adopt e-textbooks. Measurement items were drawn and modified from existing validated scales. After data were collected from college students in Taiwan, structural equation modelling was employed to examine and compare the proposed model with the original model. Moreover, two tests were conducted to determine the extent of common method variance in the current data. The empirical findings support the inclusion of perceived enjoyment in the TAM. The proposed model explained 43% of the variance in behavioural intention, but explained 71% of the variance in attitudes, suggesting an explication of how the different determinants influence college students’ adoption of e-textbooks. The significance of the chi-square difference between the two models indicates that our proposed model shows a better fit to the data than the TAM does. Besides, perceived enjoyment is a critical factor in the influence of attitudes towards the usage of e-textbooks. Perceived ease of use is more influential than perceived usefulness in the determination of attitudes.

<em>The aim of this research is to discuss and test the effect of the factors on Vietnamese consumers’ online shopping intention base on technology acceptance model. The questionnaire was sent directly to the respondents and through the Internet. After 5 months collecting, there were 423 valid replies being analyzed. The data were analyzed in accordance with the process from EFA to Cronbach's Alpha and multiple regression technique. The results showed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and trust had a positive effect on consumers’ online shopping intention. While the factor of perceived risk had a negative effect on consumers’ online shopping intention.</em>

This study aims to develop and implement a new Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to verify and explain users&rsquo; acceptance of SAP software. The structural equation model (SEM) technique is used with the AMOS program for the adoption process. General structural model, which includes Experience, Voluntariness, Perceived Enjoyment, Perceptions of External Control, Computer Self Efficacy, Output Quality and Job Relevance, is developed with Analytical Hierarchy Method (AHP) and Pareto Analysis by deciding variables from previously original developed models which are called TAM1, TAM2 and TAM3. New TAM is tested to a sample of 384 SAP users in a company that serves in metal production. Results illustrates that new TAM is an appropriate tool to explain and understand users&rsquo; acceptance of SAP besides of being flexible and easily implemented. SAP users&rsquo; job relevance and their perceptions of external control are the most important variables that affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use in the model.

This study has three purposes: to understand the enterprises’ expectations and needs of using multimedia marketing, to examine the reasons behind enterprises’ rejection of multimedia marketing, and to verify whether multimedia marketing meets the expectations of the enterprises. This study combines the technology acceptance model (TAM) and expectation confirmation theory (ECT) to investigate Taiwanese enterprises’ perspectives of using multimedia marketing by employing the questionnaire technique. A total of 288 valid paper questionnaires (143 companies did not use multimedia marketing, while 145 did) were collected after eliminating invalid ones. As a result, this study shows that TAM and ECT are suitable models for explaining the enterprises’ behavior of using multimedia marketing. Perceived ease of use is an important factor for enterprises that do not use multimedia marketing. In addition, both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are important factors that affect the enterprises’ continuance intention to adopt multimedia marketing.

Tech-friendliness in this new era is an important quotient considered and the persons’ acceptance towards the technology frequency matters a lot. But still the frequency varies from person to person, this brought in the concept of Technology Acceptance Model given by Fred Davis in 1989. The theory of TAM is based on two theories that are Theory of Reasoned Action and Theory of Planned Behavior, TAM is extended version of these two. Green Banking is a new technology introduced by the banks that focuses on the growth of Sustainable development and Banking system too. Thus, banks ask their customers to use it or practice it in their daily life transactions. But every customer has their own point of view on the usage of Green banking. Thus, the research aims to understand the customers’ perception towards the Green Banking for this TAM is used. The research states that Perceived risk is the primary factor that is followed by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that impacts the decision to use green banking. Thus, the behavioral intention results in actual use of green banking usage for which people are trying to accept the new technology. So, the banks have earned points for creating awareness among their customers but still they have to work hard and clarify their customers’ problems and vanish that hitch that is stopping them to use green banking easily.

With the rapid growth of information technology, electronic money has played an important and central role in the e-payment. Development of electronic money is able to create a trend less-cash society, which is a society’s behavior using non- cash transactions by utilizing the simplicity offered through electronic transactions. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors affecting the intention to use electronic money. We designed a questionnaire and used it to survey a simple random sampling of people who use of e-money in DKI Jakarta. The actual samples used for the study are 125 respondents. We analyzed the data using Structured Equation Modeling to evaluate the strength of the hypothesized effects. The result of the analysis showed that perceived ease of use has no significant effect on attitudes towards the use of e-money. Perceived ease of use has a significant effect on the perceived usefulness of e-money. Perceived usefulness has no significant effect on the intention to use e-money. Perceived usefulness has a significant effect on attitudes towards the use of e-money. Attitude has a significant effect on the intention to use e-money. Subjective norm has a significant effect on the intention to use e-money. Perceived behavioral control has no significant effect on the intention to use e-money. E-learning is a method of delivering knowledge using information technology and electronic media for the remote users. The advantages of e-learning method can be fully achieved with the postgraduate studies as majority of the postgraduate students are engaged in learning while they are working and also geographically dispersed due to the family and work life thus physically appearing for the lecture sessions are difficult to them. This paper attempts to develop a framework to measure the postgraduate students’ perceived technology acceptance by developing a modified version of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which replaces perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use in the original model of TAM with relative advantage and complexity and incorporate other variables of trialability, observability, compatibility, psychological wellbeing and social influence of the students. The developed model is validated using 30 postgraduate students from Sri Lanka and thus this model can be used in future researchers to measure the perceived e-learning acceptance of postgraduate students.
