The aim of this article is to assess the impact of social media on the lives of selected college students. In this article, the authors raised the actual impact of daily communication on youth in social media. A descriptive research design was utilized to gain accurate profile of situation. Sixty business administration and management information system students who are actively using social media are the respondents of the study. It was conducted during the summer semester of academic year 2017-2018. Summing-up, social media becomes an integral part of the students' life and took up most of their free time. Undoubtedly, in social media, there are also things useful for the development of the students such as communication with peers through social media can help a student socialize, find new friends, discuss with them issues related to studies. Thus, it can be concluded that social media have a dual impact on student's life, positive and negative. It is necessary to approach youth's use of social media with ultimate responsibility.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact and the electronic service quality of the national zakat management information system (SIMBA) on the national zakat collection. This paper uses a multiple regression analysis in its explorative attempt to illustrate the impact of SIMBA implementation on the national zakat collection. It shows that SIMBA is positive and significantly impact the national zakat collection as well as the human development index that is used as a proxy for the human resource management quality of zakat institutions in the respective city. Nonetheless, the population is negative and significant to the zakat collection as endemic poverty and reluctance to pay zakat are indicated as the reasons. Moreover, this study has succeeded in adapting and conducting e-service quality survey to zakat information system realm. All the tests prove that the instrument in this study has a high degree of reliability and validity. The results show that some of the demographic factors significantly impact the perceived performance of SIMBA. Multiple regression analysis that is conducted in this study shows that e-service quality dimension is positive and significant towards SIMBA’ overall quality, perceived value, and loyalty intention. This study contributes to the zakat management system literature, especially in the impact of the national zakat information system, which is pivotal in enhancing zakat collection and poverty alleviation program funded by zakat.

Includes data management and data storage management is done simply where data is only stored in an excel. It looks less effective and efficient in the development of technology. This is the implementation of Management Information System is already being adopted by schools, especially in SMP N 1 Talamau. The method used is field research that is qualitative research that is intended to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the researcher, for example perception, behavior, events, actions and so on. This researcher used a qualitative descriptive method, a method that is focused on the problems of the existing problems in the present, then analyzed to obtain data and information. The results of the study suggested that the existing management information systems already meet the standards, both in terms of the student, curriculum, human resources (HR), the facilities and the quality of the user, who is able to manage the activities that exist in the school. The few things that support the implementation of the utilization of management information systems in data management are: 1). human resources, 2). Job Description (division of labor), 3). Means, 4). Special Applications, 5). Library, 6). Learners. As for the impact caused by the existence of a management information system in this study had 4 impact, namely: 1). For headmaster, 2). For the administration, 3). For the teacher, and 4). For learners.

At MA Darul Ihya Bogor correspondence is an important means of communication. One of the problems in managing letters at the MA Darul Ihya Bogor is the inefficient filing of mail data that still uses a manual system. With the number of incoming letters and outgoing letters each meeting makes a letter that is in the archive so that the search becomes inefficient because not all files are arranged properly. One effort to overcome this problem is to create an in and outgoing mail management information system. The research method used in this study is the method of Lifecycle Development (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. The waterfall model (waterfall) is often also called a linear sequential (linear sequential) model. The results of this study are to make this site-based management information system can facilitate business administration in the process of inputting incoming and outgoing mail data, searching for incoming and outgoing mail data, making reports of incoming and outgoing mail data producing the required information quickly and accurately.

The study emphasizes the importance of Management information systems (MIS) for corporate performance. Prior studies have been reviewed to substantiate theories that explain how Management information systems (MIS) affect corporate performance. Management information system (MIS) is providing information that relates to possible future events, efficiency, output rates, information on the effect of various events, that relate to the impact that the employees’ decision has on the performance of other departments. Furthermore, greater management information system capability leads to a higher degree of strategic performance. These and many other factors are suggested to be critical features of MIS that have a direct impact on financial and strategic performance of companies.

The Law on Regional Autonomy has the impact of the Regional Government having the authority to manage the assets and regional income independently. Semarang City is an area in the Central Java Province managed by the local government of Semarang city that is required to be able to carry out autonomy well. One of the things done is the management of land and building assets owned by Semarang city government that functioned for the public interest and the implementation of city government semarang. data of government assets owned by Semarang city government recorded in Identity Card belonging to the Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency (DPKAD) there are 3,092 plots of asset managed by Regional Secretariat, Institution under Semarang City Government and management by sub-district and kelurahan area.Land assets managed by the municipal government of Semarang are currently not considered optimal. The application of the management information system for the location of the city government's land assets is planned to use the Google Maps Application Programming Interface (API), can be viewed as a solution to help the implementing officer recognize the location of the asset land and provide competitive advantages and advantages in an effort to transparency of the city government semarang on assets owned and the achievement of Semarang city to semarang be smart city.With the support of management information system application of land asset location of Semarang city government which can represent referring to location of location of real asset with remote sensing (sensing) is expected to be used effectively to manage, control and control the land asset.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of the use of Facebook groups on student learning process. This group is intended as a communication and discussion tool and means for collecting assignment, therefore all members of this group can access the course related materials. Online questionnaire using Likert scale and open-ended section is used at the end of the course to know the response of students to the use of this group. We obtained 57 responses from 77 enrolled students from Management Information System subject. The results showed that the FB Group enhanced engagement both on the course and lecturer, and can be used as educational tools in higher education.

This study aims to obtain information about Teacher's Perception to increase of academic quality based of Management Information Systems at Elementary School 08 Batang Anai which is viewed from aspects: quality and management information system. This type of research is descriptive research. The population of this study were all teachers at SDN 08 Batang Anai, amounting to 11 peoples. Research method is qualitative descriptive. The data that has been collected by obsrvation and interview with the teachers and employee in that school. The result showed that: 1. Teacher's perception in improving the quality of education in SDN 08 Batang Anai is considered weak. The number of those who complained about being unable and lacking in expertise made the quality of education in these schools decline. 2. Teachers' perceptions in using the Management Information System in Schools are also considered weak. Some senior teachers who only rely on school operators make the information system not run smoothly as it should.

Based on the regulations of the Act – Act number 44-year 2009 about hospitals, where each hospital is obligated to do the recording and reporting of all activities of the Organization of the hospital in the form of hospital management information system (SIMRS). Therefore, every hospital is obligated to run SIMRS with the use of open source as has been set in the Year 2013 No. 82 Permenkes about SIMRS. The purpose of the study in order to evaluate the management information system in hospital medical record Installation was RSUP. Adam Malik. Quantitative research method withcross sectional design to measure the research variables model HOT Fit: Human (the use of the system, user satisfaction), Technology (quality system, the quality of information and service quality), Organization (structure), against a Net benefit. Population is the entire staff of medical record that uses SIMRS of 69 people, sampling techniques are the total sampling. The data analysis done in a multiple regression. The purpose of the study to find out the influence of the factor of human technology is preferred, and the organization 's response to the net benefit. The results of the research there is the influence of human factors and technology against a net benefit to mean Ho denied and Ha was accepted, while to factor the organization has no influence on the net benefit, meaning that Ho and Ha accepted rejected. Simultaneously all the independent variables have significant effects on the dependent variable i.e. factors human, technology and organization, the impact on the net benefit. The R-squared value of 0.635 which means all variables the dependent variable may affect independent of 63.5%. Conclusion the research need to craft a careful planning for the development of SIMRS in order to get a quality system, quality of information and service quality, and poured in the master plan, and strategic plan of the hospital.
