Enterprise sustainable development emphasizes coordination of the development of economy, environment and society. The life cycle cost based on the sustainable development controls the engineering cost as well as environmental pollution and damage. The thermal power plant burns large amount of fossil fuels and discharge pollutants which cause serious pollution. Therefore the pollution control and ecological conservation make up important parts of construction and production cost, both of which are key parts of life cycle cost. This paper uses analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to estimate the life cycle cost and helps the enterprise to make social or temporal comparison and potentiality exploitation and to improve its sustainable development capability.

The development of higher education has led to an increasing demand for campus buildings. To promote the sustainable development of campus buildings, this paper combines social willingness-to-pay (WTP) with the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) based on the characteristics of Chinese campus buildings to establish a life cycle assessment–life cycle cost (LCA–LCC) integrated model. Based on this model, this paper analyses the teaching building at a university in North China. The results show that the environmental impacts and economic costs are largest in the operation phase of the life cycle, mainly because of the use of electric energy. The environmental impacts and economic costs during the construction phase mainly come from the building material production process (BMPP); in this process, steel is the main source. Throughout the life cycle, abiotic depletion-fossil fuel potential (ADP fossil) and global warming potential (GWP) are the most prominent indexes. Further analysis shows that these two indexes should be the emphases of similar building assessments in the near future. Finally, this study offers suggestions for the proposed buildings and existing buildings based on the prominent problems found in the case study, with the aim to provide reference for the design, construction, and operation management of similar buildings.

How to implement the life-cycle management of water conservancy and hydro power project cost effectively, and how to distinguish the influence degree of different factors on project cost stage management. This is a key problem in project cost control. In this paper, based on the influence of each factor on the overall evaluation goal influence, FAHP is applied to set up Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Model. Aiming at the variability characteristics of factors in each stage, the information entropy is used to determine the objective weight in the model, in combination with AHP the subjective weights to determine the weight.

The Ability of Symbiotic Innovation in Sustainable Technology (ASIST) plays an important role in the sustainable development. It is of great strategic significance for enterprises to evaluate this ability scientifically and rationally. How can we evaluate it in a scientific, rational, standardized and quantitative way? In this paper the author thinks that ASIST is an ability system of multifaceted and multileveled components, such as the abilities of symbiosis with economic, social, natural and scientific & technological resource environment. The evaluation of this ability is a problem of multifactor, multilevel and fuzzy comprehensive decision, so it is reasonable and effective to select and apply the method of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE). After constructing an evaluation index system composed of 4 factors and 15 indexes, the author proposes and analyses preliminarily the general models and process to evaluate the ability using FCE. The models include the basic, multilevel and multioperator ones and the process composes of 5 main steps. He further illustrates the general solution of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of ASIST with a practical example, in the hope of realizing the evaluation to be scientific, rational, standardized and quantitative.

At present, the flexible transformation of thermal power is an effective measure to solve the problem of renewable energy consumption. At the same time, the improvement of the electricity auxiliary service market makes the power generation enterprises improve their ability to provide auxiliary services through flexible transformation and obtain benefits while serving the power system. Therefore, how to construct the flexibility evaluation system of regional units according to the characteristics of the auxiliary service market in different regions is of great significance to power generation enterprises. In this paper, the flexibility evaluation system of the auxiliary market environment is designed. Analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method were used to determine the weight and final evaluation basis.

With respect to mining area, to establish an evaluation system that aims to reflecting its actual condition and assessing its sustainable development ability has been of importance. In this paper, we discussed the meaning of sustainable development and evaluation factors, and then built a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to evaluate the sustainable development condition of mining area.

Green Building rating tools are the essential need of this era, to cope up with the sustainable development goals, climate change, and natural resource degradation through buildings. Realization of green building incentives decently increased within past few decades with abrupt declination in real estate markets and economic depletion has decelerated the interest of investors towards the green building projects. This research calculates influence of costing elements in MyCREST (IS-design) using questionnaire survey distributed amongst qualified professionals (QP’S) of green buildings and expert practitioners. Firstly, factor score and then weightage factor was performed to produce the final result with weightage output for evaluating weighatge and ranking of the relevant criteria of MyCREST and life cycle cost elements respectively. It is found that the criteria of storm water management has weighatge of 0.236 as highest and criteria environmental management plan (EMP) as 0.061 as lowest. Research also identified another perspective by finding association of cost element at design stage of MyCREST and found that management cost is highly associated at design stage with the value of 87.7%. The outcome of this research will add value to green building development and map road towards sustainable development using green building tools to uplift quality of life. Furthermore, this paves a way to integrate various stages of MyCREST with life cycle costing tool to potentially contribute in evaluating cost association through green building rating tool.

This paper adopts the analysis method of big data to conduct an in-depth analysis and research on the sustainable development mechanism of enterprises, firstly, combing the content and methods of enterprise business performance evaluation, defining enterprise sustainable development, and exploring the integration of enterprise sustainable development and enterprise business performance evaluation by specifically analyzing from different perspectives. Then, we analyze the industry in which the enterprise is located, its business situation, and strategy, and after analyzing the current business performance evaluation system of the enterprise, we point out its problems. The current performance evaluation system is incomplete, focuses only on economic benefits, is not long term, and does not consider the company’s strategy and stakeholders’ needs, which affects its importance and feasibility. Then, the above analysis is integrated to build a performance evaluation system consisting of four dimensions, namely, economic dimension, scientific research and innovation dimension, social dimension, and ecological dimension, from the perspective of sustainable development, and a total of 29 indicators are selected. Then, the two research tools of first value method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method were combined, based on the panel data of enterprises from 2016 to 2020; the first value method was used to get the weights of each indicator in the business performance evaluation system. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to get a comprehensive evaluation score of enterprise’s business performance in 2019, and then the evaluation results were analyzed in detail and suggestions were made, which confirms that enterprises are based on the sustainable development perspective. The evaluation of business performance is necessary and important. Finally, we propose supporting safeguards, such as establishing a performance evaluation team and a monitoring mechanism, dynamically improving the enterprise performance evaluation system, establishing a sustainable corporate culture, preparing and publishing a sustainable development report, and accelerating the information construction of performance evaluation.
