Research and Design of a Short Message Services Management System for Mobile Devices

The last few years has seen a massive growth of applications for smart phone operating systems such as Android, IOS. Short message services (SMS) is one of them. Although SMS as an application has existed for a long time, the method for managing short messages is rather outdated and very inconvenient. The is partially because most of the SMS applications are inherited from old fashioned mobile platforms, in which users of mobile phone usually concentrate on basic phone service and demand less for SMS. With the introduction of smart phone operating system, the old-fashioned method of short messages management is not suitable. To cope with this problem, in this paper we first conduct research on modern ways of short messages management, and then a short message services management system for mobile devices is designed. In this new system, more advanced options, such as messages query by date, by sender and sending a message to many receivers at the same time, for short messages is provided. Moreover, to validate our research and design, we implement the system based on Android platform. And we conduct some experiments with this system and test results shows that our system works quite well. With the mobile Internet becoming increasingly important to life, our research is expected to improve work efficiency greatly.

How to effectively manage the employees withinformation and mobile technology is an important problem to the coal mineindustry, and even many conventional industries. In this paper, a coal mineemployee management system, which is based on their work characteristics andpractical requirements, is presented. The system is composed of mobile terminallayer, transport layer and Web server layer. It conducts intelligent managementand safety monitoring through the acquisition and maintenance of the employees’information. Our work is of great significance in promoting the coal mineindustry to information system management and ensuring the employees’ safetywith information technology.

From long, long time ago until nowadays information still takes a serious position for all aspect of life, fromindividual to organization. In ABC company information is somewhat very sensitive, very important. But how wekeep our information safe, well we have many ways to do that: in hard drive, removable disc etc. with otherorganizations they even have data centre to save their information. The objective of information security is to keep information safe from unwanted access. We applied Risk Mitigation Action framework on our data management system and after several months we have a result far better than before we use it: information more secure, quickly detect incidents, improve internal and external collaboration etc.

Business Card is the most efficient, effective and appropriate tool for every business men no matter they are owners, employees, more over marketers to provide information about their businesses. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to bring and manage business card in large numbers also to remember the face of the business card owner. A Business Card application need to be built to solve all those issues mentioned above. The Application or software must be run in media which can be accessed anywhere and anytime such as smart phone. Kuartu is as business card application run in mobile devices. Kuartu is developed using object base modeling for mobile sub system. The platform of the mobile sub system is android, as it is the most widely used platform in the world. The Kuartu application utilizing NFC and QR Code technology to support the business card information exchange and the Chatting feature for communication. Based on the experiment and test using black box methodology, it can be concluded that Kuartu application makes business card owner to communicate each other easily, business card always carried, easy to manage the cards and information of the business card owner can be easily obtained. M-learning or mobile learning is defined as learning through mobile apps, social interactions and online educational hubs via Internet or network using personal mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones. However, in such open environment examination security is most challenging task as students can exchange mobile devices or also can exchange information through network during examination. This paper aims to design secure examination management system for m- learning and provide appropriate mechanism for anti- impersonation to ensure examination security. The users are authenticated through OTP. To prevent students from exchanging mobile devices during examination, system re-authenticates students automatically through face recognition at random time without interrupting the test. The system also provides external click management i.e. prevent students from accessing online sites and already downloaded files during examination.
