Architectural design is a creative work, the final results of it is image and visually expressed in the form of drawings. AutoCad technology and Sketchup software combined with architecture design are the combination of computer application technology, especially the inevitable outcome of the development of computer graphics technology. Usage of the two softwares is not only able to design construction drawing with specification, beautiful buildings, and can effectively help designers improving the design level and work efficiently, this is the manual drawing. Mastering the AutoCad and SketchUp architectural drawings in other words is to have the advanced and standard of architectural design language tools.

In the form language of architectural design, the process of form generation and the source of form are completely different from the perspective of construction and vision. The two traceability for form are opposite. This paper attempts to quantify and analyze the process in a creative way of digital, by summarizing the relevant digital research of forms, a feasible modular sequence is proposed, which can correspond the form evaluation based on construction and vision in architectural design, and provide an actionable way by digital for the form design language.

The manual work or Excel based material mixing ratio method has low computer application level and lays high computer capacity on design construction workers. It is difficult to obtain the most optimal technical and economic program from a number of optional programs. The paper built mathematical model of materials mixing ratio based on genetic and identified constraint conditions. Data pre-processing was performed according to the constructed model. According to specific circus of material mixing ratio calculation, the fitness function and various operators were designed and parameters of model were also configured. At the same time of meeting requirements of project quality, multiple target optimizations were considered to give new model and constraints. The highway construction mixing materials ratio calculation based on genetic algorithm achieves expected goal and improve accuracy and efficiency of operations.

Threshold is a popular design theory in architecture that can be defined in many ways. One definition is “a barrier space that is located for separating the volumes”. This is “dictionary definition” of the threshold, but in fact this term can has various meanings according to the different perspectives. The threshold can be physical, psychological, emotional, social, economic, etc. definitions. There are many ways of expressing threshold in to architectural design considering the terms mentioned above. In this paper different ways of expressing “threshold” term in to the architectural design is discussed. For this purpose third year architecture design studio is taken as a case study. The student projects by the ways of defining and expressing the threshold term in to design is taken in consideration. The aim of this paper to put forward the integration of various meanings of threshold in to the architectural design by the case studies that are obtained from the architectural design studio.
