In the large hydraulic concrete structure that conventional nondestructive testing technique can’t implement quantitative detection, using steady Rayleigh wave technique can acquire various characteristic parameters of concrete. The paper introduces the principle and detection system of steady Rayleigh wave technique systematically, and makes detection experiments to introduce steady Rayleigh wave e technique and application progress of it in quality of large hydraulic concrete and nondestructive detection of crack depth. The practice proves that steady Rayleigh wave detection technique has the characteristics of strong antijamming capability and higher detection precision.

Bolt has been used widely in geoengineering all over the world in recent years, the testing technique of bolt develops quickly too. This paper summarizes simply the history of bolt testing technique, describes in detail stress wave reflection method. It is useful and valuable nondestructive.Testing method is verified with several parameters which estimate quality of bolting integrity.

Based on the platform of LabVIEW, a set of roller intelligent detecting system is developed. With this system, it is easy to realize functions of fast nondestructive testing of subgrade compaction degree, roller speed, rollers compaction trajectory, compaction times, GPS real-time positioning as well as saving and printing report forms. Compared with traditional detection methods, this detecting system can test and control on-site compaction quality much more easily, in order to speed up the construction progress, improve the quality of subgrade compaction, control and manage compaction work better.

By data mining from 3DFEM simulation and Rough Set Theory (RST), it was performed that the extrusion process and die structures effect on the quality of AZ80 magnesium extrudate. The weights of the effect can be obtained. The results show that the effect of the billet temperature on the product quality is dominate, and its average weight is 0.27. The second important parameter is the ram speed and its average weight is 0.22. In addition, it was also found that the effect of the die characteristic parameters on the extrudate is insignificant.

Millions of Stereoscopic 3D capable TVs were sold into the consumer market from 2007 through to 2016. A wide range of display technologies were supported including rear-projection DLP, Plasma, LCD and OLED. Some displays supported the Active 3D method using liquid-crystal shutter glasses, and some displays supported the Passive 3D method using circularly polarised 3D glasses. Displays supporting Full-HD and Ultra-HD (4K) resolution were available in sizes ranging from 32" to 86" diagonal. Unfortunately display manufacturers eventually changed their focus to promoting other display technologies and 2016 was the last year that new 3D TVs were made for the consumer market. Fortunately, there are still millions of 3D displays available through the secondhand- market, however it can be difficult to know which displays have 3D display support. This paper will provide a listing of specifically Passive 3D TVs manufactured by LG, however it has been our experience that the 3D quality varied considerably from one display to another hence it is necessary to qualify the quality of the 3D available on these displays using a testing technique that will be described in the paper.

Stress wave based techniques have been developed for evaluating the quality of the wooden materials nondestructively. However the existing techniques have some shortcomings due to the significant variation of the wood properties and are now in need of updating. There are also stress wave based instruments which have been widely used for nondestructive testing of wood. But most of them are inflexible and unsuitable for the tentative studies. This paper proposed and implemented a wood nondestructive testing platform based on NI virtual instrument. Three wood nondestructive testing methods, including peak time interval measurement, cross-correlation, and spectrum analysis, were also tested on this platform with serious decay sample, early decay sample, and defect-free sample. The results show that new methods can be verified easily and the researches of wood nondestructive testing will be accelerated with the designed platform.
