A high performance and high voltage half-bridge novel IGBT driver circuit is described in this paper. The module integrates dual insulated driving and special protection circuits. It has high push-pull driving capability, bootstrap power supply technology and is easy for inverter miniature design. The paper also introduces the application in portable diesel engine generator and discusses some attention items in practical application. Experimental results show that this driving module has better performance and can reliably drive and protect IGBT.

The piezoelectric ceramic transformer has the advantages of high conversion efficiency, high pressure, electromagnetic compatibility,etc.It overcomes the shortcomings of large electromagnetic interference, low conversion efficiency , a large volume, etc. Using IR2184,the paper designs piezoelectric ceramic transformer full-bridge driver circuit. It greatly improves the conversion efficiency of the power system and power.

This paper describes a high-performance power-driven design of the permanent magnet direct drive wind turbine. The converter power circuit is designed by AN8026,and the converter drive circuit is designed by HCPL316J,then draw the PCB using the design software Altium Designer Summer 09,create and debug prototype. the final experiment verify that the soft switching power supply can improve the efficiency of the power based on the AN8026,and the drive circuit can increase the reliability of the power module drive based on HCPL316J,so the security and reliable operation of the entire wind power generation system is guaranteed,the switching power supply and drive is especially suitable for the converter hardware system design requirements of the small and medium-sized wind power generation system.

According to the principle of BOOST and working characteristics of current mode PWM control chip UC3842, a drive circuit of injector solenoid valve was designed for high pressure common rail diesel engine, and simulation model of drive circuit was build with full use of Multisim. Through the simulation of that model and the practical application of the circuit, the results of comparison show that the design of injector solenoid valve drive circuit is reliable and can meet the working demands of high pressure common rail diesel engine, which provides a theoretical basis and practical application for hardware design of high pressure common rail diesel engine control unit.

The increased availability of High Performance Computing and Communications (HPCC) offers scientists and students the potential for effective remote interactive use of centralized, specialized, and expensive instrumentation and computers. Examples of instruments capable of remote operation that may be usefully controlled from a distance are increasing. Some in current use include telescopes, networks of remote geophysical sensing devices and more recently, the intermediate high voltage electron microscope developed at the San Diego Microscopy and Imaging Resource (SDMIR) in La Jolla. In this presentation the imaging capabilities of a specially designed JEOL 4000EX IVEM will be described. This instrument was developed mainly to facilitate the extraction of 3-dimensional information from thick sections. In addition, progress will be described on a project now underway to develop a more advanced version of the Telemicroscopy software we previously demonstrated as a tool to for providing remote access to this IVEM (Mercurio et al., 1992; Fan et al., 1992).

As for the wide application of arc suppression coil to the grounding in neutral point of mine high voltage grid, grid leakage fault rules and harmonic characteristics of the neutral point grounding system through arc suppression coil are analyzed, the selective leakage protection program “zero-sequence voltage starts, fifth harmonics of grid zerosequence voltage and zero-sequence current are extracted for phase comparison” is proposed, and corresponding fifth harmonic extraction circuit and power direction discrimination circuit are designed. The experimental results show that the protective principle applies not only to the neutral point insulated power supply system, but also to the power supply system in which neutral point passes arc suppression coil, which can solve selective leakage protection problems under different neutral grounding ways, improving the reliability of selective leakage and guaranteeing the stability of the action value.
