Mobile communication technology has become one of the most popular technologies, profoundly associated with many users’ everyday life. Mobile communication technology has evolved from a simple communication tool to mobile multimedia. This chapter concentrates on ‘mobile TV,’ the convergence of digital broadcasting and telecommunications. The main purpose of this chapter is to explore the diffusion and adoption of mobile TV-DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) in its early stages and examine the use of mobile TV-DMB in a wide range of everyday practices. This chapter also focuses on the factors that influence the adoption and use of mobile TV-DMB, and a contextual understanding of DMB that may affect media use patterns in a wide range of social and cultural contexts. The results of this study underline the potential of the broad integration of mobile TV-DMB into people’s everyday life.

The paper makes an overall analysis on present exterior environment and telecom industrial status on the basis of full and accurate datum, and presents the status of 4G technology, the competition relations between 4G and other wireless technologies, overseas 4G service development and the successful experience in Korea and Japan. Then this paper points out that enormous profits and great opportunity still exist in China's mobile telecommunication market, and 4G has become more mature and been applied commercially in a large scale, the conditions of 4G development in China has also become mature.

With the rapid growth in the number of the domestic mobile phone users and the widespread use of the third generation (3G) mobile communication technology, mobile payment will become a new means of payment and be gradually accepted. At present, many cities and regions already have a Phone Financial IC card which can provide contact and Non-contact applications of consumer who use the Point of Sales (POS), the phone financial IC card is the SIM card which comply with the financial specifications PBOC2.0, it can provide an individual customer with a debit or credit services and pure e-wallet functions of financial payment. Mobile payment system based on the phone financial IC card will achieve savings, air deposit, inquiries, payments, communications and other functions. On the basis of the project, this paper depicts and analyses the mobile payment system architecture, business functions and key technologies.

As the next generation of mobile communication technology, 5G has the characteristics of enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), massive machine-type communication (mMTC), and ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC), which are critical technologies for the future development of industrie 4.0. So far, these technologies have been explored and applied in industry, however, there is still a lack of general architectures. This paper presents a 5G and industrial communication convergence architecture and elaborates on the implementation methods from the aspects of device access technology and network configuration strategies, and discusses the transparent transmission and mapping methods adopted by 5G terminal access technology as well.
