The numerical controlling simulation of process indicates a mapping of NC machine tool in the virtual environment, and it includes the technique of manufacture, the theories of NC machine tool, CAD, CAM, and the technique of modeling and simulating. The people can apperceive the virtual environment of 3D simulated model developed by computers, carry the NC process of parts in virtual condition before the true doing when we design or alter a project, inspect the exactitude and justification of NC program, evaluate and optimize the project of process. Thereby the intention, abridging the time of developing products, depressing the cost of manufacture, advancing the quality of products and the efficiency of Production, can be finally achieved. With the rapid development of NC technique and computer graphical technology and the extensive application of computer, NC simulation technology provide an effective tool in order to validate the NC machining program and forecast the machine process. The main purpose of this dissertation is to derive the mathematical model and to simulate the lathe tool cutter. In order to enhance the operating efficiency and the demonstration quality of the numerical control lathe simulation software, the analysis has compared a kind of shape about lathe tool cutter-- PARALLELOGRAM, has established the cutter forms, thus inferred the mathematical model of the numerical control lathe simulation on the lathe tool cutter. The cutter is display in the DELPHI software development platform based on the environments of GLSence using this derived mathematical model.

NC machine creeping failure usually occurs in the mechanical part and feed servo system of NC machine tool feed system, because of low speed creeping phenomenon often depends on the characteristics of mechanical transmission parts. Crawling is generally due to transmission of machine tool stiffness is insufficient, friction and dynamic friction coefficient difference and friction damped oscillations caused by too small. This paper establishes the physical model and the mathematical model, through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation of machine movement components that crawl main reason, put forward to prevent the moving parts of the main measures of creeping.

In this paper the characteristics of geometric errors is discussed in detail, error compensation methods used in productive practice and relevant examples are given. Finally, the application of error compensation in different situation is discussed according to the characteristics of machining center. The machine accuracy can be improved by error compensation. It has important practical reference value for reasonable use and maintaining of NC machine tool.

The thesis researched the relationship between green design and reconfigurable on NC machine tool, and expatiated that the development of the reconfigurable machine tools is essential. This article has carried on the analysis from the deep hole components classification and the formed movement craft two aspects to the deep hole components race. The reconfigurable deep hole machine tool was to carry on the modular design based two aspects for the module partition and reconstructable analyze, solved the key technologies the machine tool modulation design. From the machine tool bed module, the head of machine tool module, the cutting tool auxiliary system and the numerical control system four aspects, to design and research on reconfigurable machine tool, solved the difficult design problem which the part reconfigurable designed.

Automatic programming and process diagnosis are the essential function to drive the Numerical Control (NC) machine tool with probes to measure the products and evaluate the quality of process in every inspection procedure based on on-machine measurement (OMM), especially in the complex parts measuring, which can avoid the products unqualified and promote the efficiency of manufacture and inspection. In this paper, the method of automatic programming, the data exchange of measurement and the principle of process diagnosis are discussed. With a practical case based on FANUC, the effectiveness and efficiency of the method raised in this paper is validated.

The dynamic character of ball screw is the key factor that influences the machining accuracy of numerical control (NC) machine tool. To improve the dynamic characteristics of the NC machine tool, it is necessary to study the dynamic characteristics of a ball screw. In this paper, the kinematics of a ball screw mechanism (BSM) are studied to expound the dynamic process of the drive, and the load disturbance is considered to analyze the contact deformation based on the Hertzian contact theory. The velocity relationships among the ball, screw, and nut are analyzed, and the influence of the contact deformation on the dynamic characteristics is simulated and investigated experimentally. The results show that the relationships between the contact deformation, which is affected by the material characteristics, the contact angle, and the load of nut are nonlinear. The contact deformation is a factor that cannot be ignored when considering the dynamic machining error of high-speed and high-precision machine tools.

According to the development of Numerical Control (NC) machine tool’s manufacture, the way to build a platform of digitized design and manufacture system for NC machine tool was proposed, in which the various and relatively simplex digitized technologies were conformed as well as closely combined with the network and information technologies. From that, the real-time and parallel simulation in the whole process of NC machine tool’s design and manufacture would be achieved. Along with the all-sided expanding of digitized technology in the design field of NC machine tool, the corporations’ colligation which includes design, manufacture and management would be greatly upgraded and the development of entire manufacture will be expedited. The purpose of this study is to develop a new machine bed support mechanism for reducing the vibration generated during the high-speed tracking motion of numerical control machine tools. In order to achieve this, the frequency response and motion trajectory of a machine tool with the proposed machine bed, which has a sliding surface, are measured and compared with that of the conventional support. Based on the modal analysis of the machine tool structure, a mathematical model representing the influence of the machine bed characteristics on the vibration is also developed. The model consists of a bed, saddle, table, column, and spindle head. Every component has three degrees of freedom for each of the translational and rotational axes. In order to evaluate the characteristics of the machine bed, the mathematical model determines the stiffness and damping along the X-, Y-, and Z-axis between the bed and the ground. The frequency response curves simulated by using the mathematical model are compared with that of the measured ones. From the results of the experiments and simulations, it is confirmed that the vibration generated during high-speed tracking motions can be reduced by using the proposed machine bed with a sliding surface.

The numerical control machine tool, which is a typical energy-using product, because there are all sorts of energy loss and auxiliary functions, has low efficiency in machining process. Author makes a study of NC machine tool energy consumption controlling. With simens840Dsl numerical control system as an example, based on the analysis of CNC system control principle, according to processing characteristic of the part, the macro program is wrote to optimize dynamic characteristics of NC machine tool. According to the machine idle time in different work condition, three energy-saving control profiles are formulated, including machine standby, NC standby, auto shut off. By the formulation of the corresponding PLC control logic, low energy consumption of intelligent control of NC machine tool is realized. Integrate PAC3200/4200 multi-function meter in NC machine tools, quantitative measurement and analysis of energy consumption for numerical control system and ancillary equipment can be implemented, and machine tool real-time energy data can be obtained. This scheme has been successfully applied in long-men portable CNC machine tools, and obtained the ideal effect: to realize the optimize control of energy consumption, improve the performance of the machine tool, become more market competitiveness.
