The aquatic ecosystem of lake is a complex open systems, this study that is based on the principles of maximum flux selects Caohai as the object, we apply complex systems analysis to construct eutropication model which is suitable for local conditions and select a larger time scale and control parameters to simulate the eutrophication status to find out the main factors and to put forward reasonable proposals for giving out optimal control techniques. This model can be expanded in time scale, spatial scale and the number of parameters, while the difficulty of calculation and analysis will not be increased. The trend and influencing factors of the system will be got at the same time.

In this study, we have developed teaching material for helping technical high-school students understand control techniques. Students understand control techniques through the emotion obtained from the experience of riding a robot. We have considered the correspondence of the teaching material with the ARCS Model. Therefore, the material is aimed at improving student’s interest and willingness to learn mechatronics and control techniques by experience the difference of the response by the change in the control parameters. By performing an experiment, we have verified the educative effect of the teachingmaterial, which can improve the willingness of students to learn and their interest in mechatronics and control techniques.

The most important components of the distributed generation frameworks is the GTIs which is an interface amidst the utility and the source of energy. The recent years have seen an increased interest in the design and usage of GTIs due to its smaller weight and size, low cost and higher efficiency. But the problem of leakage currents in the transformerless inverter that is dependant on its topology and control scheme needs to be looked into carefully. Also, the high performance of the GTI requires a stringent control and various control systems are being developed and applied to the GTIs. This paper reviews the various topologies that are classified based on the attributes of the leakage current and the method of decoupling. Further it reviews and compares the different control techniques applied to the GTIs with respect to the frame of reference, controller, modulation technique and the control parameters considered.

Abstract The short take-off capability is of paramount importance for a fighter airplane to enable its operation from short and damaged runways. This paper analyses the airplane take-off process from the viewpoint of reducing the ground roll/take-off distance with the use of thrust vectoring. The airplane take-off is modelled incorporating the ground reactions on the landing gear and the thrust vector forces and moments. The take-off problem is formulated as an optimal control problem with appropriate constraints. Though many researchers have applied optimal control techniques for designing airplane manoeuvres, its application to the airplane take-off problem is rarely available in the open literature. It is expedient to use such methodology to understand the use of thrust vectoring features of an aircraft to maximise the benefits in shortening the ground roll/take-off distance. An optimal control methodology has been applied in this paper with the objectives stated above to a twin-engine fighter nonlinear aircraft model popularly known as F-18/HARV. Computation of flight path and control schedules using optimal control has been carried out with and without the use of vector nozzles. A reduction of about 6% in take-off distance and about 29% in ground roll distance is obtained with the use of thrust vector for the configuration studied.

As the four-wheel steering (4WS) system has great potentials, many researchers' attention was attracted to this technique and active research was made. As a result, passenger cars equipped with 4WS systems were put on the market a few years ago. This report tries to identify the essential elements of the 4WS technology in terms of vehicle dynamics and control techniques. Based on the findings of this investigation, the report gives a mechanism of electronically controlling the steering system depending on the variable pressure applied on it. This enhances the controlling and smoothens the operation of steering mechanism.
