Through established the simulation model for the engine and the traction host powertrain of rolling impact compaction machine, Simulated the working load with time history with the simulation parameters of rolling impact compaction machine. The simulation accuracy was verified by compared between the test speed and the simulation speed. The speed, turbine torque, torque converter efficiency, torque converter, gear ratios, fuel consumption, engine power, torque are dynamic changes follow with the alternating load and slope load so as to adapt to the dynamic drag torque fluctuations. Traction host power must be equipped with a full host transmission of the internal combustion engine. Driveline should be hydraulic transmission fluid or hydraulic machinery.

To increase productivity in agricultural production, combined wide-grip machines are being created, aggregated with tractors of traction classes from 5 and higher. In addition, according to agrotechnical requirements, the pressure of the mover on the soil should be minimal, as well as the number of passes over the surface of the field. These contradictions can be solved by ballasting of tractors, which allows using engine power to increase tractive effort. Ballasting affects energy saturation. Increased energy saturation with appropriate ballasting makes it possible to compose machine-tractor units (MTU) according to a more accurate ratio of the tractor pulling force and the unit's pulling resistance. The most in demand in modern agriculture are tractors of 5-6 traction classes produced by domestic and foreign tractor-building plants with an internal combustion engine with a capacity of 220-320 kW and an operating weight of 115-150 kN. The article contains a two-way analysis of variance, which makes it possible to determine the greatest influence on the ballasting of a tractor. A diagram is constructed that gives an idea of which of the studied brands of tractors can be recommended for performing agricultural operations, taking into account ballasting and compliance with agrotechnical requirements. Keywords: TRACTOR, BALLASTING, ENERGY SATURATION, TWO-FACTOR ANALYSIS OF VARIANCE

To understand the effect of internal leakage on the torque field and characteristics of a torque converter (TC), a transient analysis was performed on the internal flow of a TC and the pressure pulsation characteristics of monitoring points in the convection channel. It was found that dividing the leakage area of the TC into a separate watershed improved simulation accuracy by 4%. When there was a leakage area, there were distinct collision, mixing, and assimilation stages between the leakage flow and the main flow. These phenomena caused energy loss that was highest at low speed ratios. However, the leakage flow always accounted for 12% of the main flow regardless of the speed ratio. At the same time, the leakage flow had a larger influence on pressure pulsation inside the TC and especially the low frequency band was more substantial. This shows that the leakage area has a large influence on the TC performance, energy loss, and flow state. Analysis of the leakage area showed that reducing the leakage area helps to improve powertrain performance and fuel economy.

Moore’s law relates how the integration of semiconductors has progressed in time. This research shows that the exponential trend shown in the electronics manufacturing industry can have applications elsewhere. This study shows that the internal combustion engine followed the same trend for over 70 years. Though not the most used engine variable, engine power density shows the same trends for engines as transistor density does for microchips. This now mature technology has ended its period of rapid growth. However the present day engine trends can show how Moore’s law can be extended to include the slower growth of long established technologies. Because exponential growth cannot go on forever, the extension Moore’s law requires that the logistic function be used. The new function also allows one to predict a theoretical value for maximum power density.

Abstract. A close conjunction of several satellites (LANL, GOES, Polar, Geotail, and Cluster) distributed from the geostationary altitude to about 16 RE downstream in the tail occurred during substorm activity as indicated by global auroral imaging and ground-based magnetometer data. This constellation of satellites resembles what is planned for the THEMIS (Time History of Events and Macroscopic Interactions during Substorms) mission to resolve the substorm controversy on the location of the substorm expansion onset region. In this article, we show in detail the dipolarization and dynamic changes seen by these satellites associated with two onsets of substorm intensification activity. In particular, we find that dipolarization at ~16 RE downstream in the tail can occur with dawnward electric field and without plasma flow, just like some near-Earth dipolarization events reported previously. The spreading of substorm disturbances in the tail coupled with complementary ground observations indicates that the observed time sequence on the onsets of substorm disturbances favors initiation in the near-Earth region for this THEMIS-like conjunction.

A kind of diesel engine governor used in the combustion engine power station is introduced. During the governor designed and researched, 3D model of the governor is built, virtual assembly is simulated and appearance is evaluated used Pro/E software. The key part is also analyzed used ABAQUS, which is a kind of finite element software. Thus, all defects is deleted in the designing phase, lead time of the product is shortened, design cost is decreased, design quality is improved and the foundation is supplied to parameterization design and manufacturing.

The Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant and Flywheel Battery were the two primarily compositive units of the Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant --Rotary UPS, among them the Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant ensured the continuous power supply to the load after the breaking of the mains supply, the Flywheel Battery ensured the uninterruptible continuous power supply to the load when mains supply switched to the Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant, so the paper started with the two units, Introduced the control system structure and principle, and focused on discussing the method of achieving the Internal Combustion Engine Power Plant --Rotary UPS telecommunication by Ethernet. The method had been applied in correlative production. The practice showed that it was convenient for usage and high reliability.
