This paper established a model of mechanical arm of hot extruding and upsetting machine. According to design requirements of mechanical arm of hot upsetting extruding machine, established the 3D model of parts and the parts assembly by using 3D modeling software SolidWorks. This design realizes cyclical movement of mechanical arm that 120° level rotation and up-downswing 15° by incomplete gear mechanism and cam mechanism, and verified the feasibility of designing the project by SolidWorks.

Verified the accuracy of designing the project. With the software to carry on a 3D model design can save work time and economize the design budget, providing the theoretical feasibility of realizing the dual-purpose move-assistant device of wheelchair and crutch.

Established the model of automatic feed punching mechanism by using 3D modeling software SolidWorks, we finished the 3D model of parts and parts assembly according to the design automatic feed punching mechanism’s requirements. This design based on the double-crank seven-bar mechanism as pressing mechanism and cam mechanism as feeding mechanism, completed the combination of pressing mechanism and feeding mechanism and the automation of the mechanism.

According to design requirements of the slicer,3D model was assembled in SolidWorks;Alternating motion of the slicer applies slider-crank mechanism.With the friction wheel cover,friction wheel can be arbitrary thickness within a certain range of sections. A device to control the amount of seeding is designed, which replaces the people in the entire reseeding process of double digging, planting, covering soil. So the work efficiency is improved. According to the design requirements of the seeding device, Solid Edge V18 software is used to build 3D model. On the software platform, the parts are designed and assembled. The correctness of the design scheme and feasibility is confirmed. Linkage has two functions such as blocking soil and protecting the seed. Using the software for 3D modeling greatly shortens the design cycle, improves design efficiency and design quality, and reduces the cost.

The 3D modeling software of Solidworks was used in the paper for the 3D modeling of large banana vibration shaker. And then the 3D model was imported into Ansys Workbench for finite element analysis. The overall stress and strain distribution of the shaker could be got under static loading. Secondly, the analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the entire shaker should be done, and the modal frequencies and mode shapes could be got through the analysis of the modal analysis results. Finally, the hammering test was done to verify the theoretical analysis. And it also provided a necessary theoretical basis for the design and improvement of the entire shaker.

Cam mechanisms are widely used in automated machines. Globoid cam has received widespread attention for its eminent kinematics and dynamic performance in research and application. As a commonly used cam mechanism in industry, especially in the field of industrial robots, Globoid Cam has the advantages of being highly efficient, highly accurate and relatively cheap. This study used ProEngineer to create a 3D model of the Globoid Cam mechanism. This paper describes the steps used to create a 3D model of the Globoid Cam, and the basic principles behind the parametric 3D modeling method.

Abstract To study the dynamic response of a certain type of co-frame launcher during launch, this article uses the 3D modeling software Pro/E to import the model into Adams from the perspective of launch dynamics. the launch dynamics model of the shared-frame launcher is established. We apply the ejection thrust of the two types of missiles to the corresponding ejection devices and measure and collect the dynamic parameters of the cartridge system. The simulation results show that the dynamic parameters of the A and B missiles are in line with the available overload design requirements. The B-type missiles are superior to the A-type missiles in terms of ballistic orbit contact force and ejection attitude.

This paper presents 3D modeling and simulation for a new type of globoidal indexing cam mechanism with steel ball. The characteristic of this mechanism is that cam raceway section is double circular arc section, and this characteristic is helpful to realize approximate rolling transmission. Profile surface equation of globoidal cam is established according to rotary transform tensor theory and meshing theory. Coordinate points of profile surface is obtained by MATLAB software. 3D model of parts of globoidal indexing cam mechanism with steel ball is built by Pro/E software. In Pro/E software these parts are assembled, and kinematics simulation is performed. Through kinematics simulation angular displacement, angular velocity and angular acceleration of indexing plate are obtained. Finally dynamic simulation of this mechanism is performed by ADMAS software, and contact force between cam and roller is obtained.
