The simulation analysis is an important part of theoretical study on concrete materials. It is a kind of quantitative analysis method of making full use of the computer technology and it has the advantages of high efficiency, safety, fewer limits of environmental conditions, easy change of the time and size etc. Quickly generation of a three-dimensional aggregate structure is a very important prerequisite for the computer simulation analysis of concrete. In this paper, in order to meet the demand of analysis and simulation, based on the technology of Unity3D,the program of three-dimensional aggregate is written, designed to use a large number of existing tools to quickly generate a concrete aggregate model as simple as possible.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method was adopted to establish the three dimensional model for cathode gas channel of planar SOFC and simulate the gas flow in the channel of a single cell. A quantitative analysis method was presented to research the status of gas flow. The characteristics and diagram of velocity change were obtained by using the quantitative analysis method. Furthermore, it was found that gas leak has a negative effect on the uniformity of gas flow, which is more obvious in the region near the leak side.

PurposeA numerical study on the aerodynamic noise generation of a high efficiency propeller is carried out.Design/methodology/approachThree-dimensional numerical simulation based on Reynolds averaged N-S model is performed to obtain the aerodynamic performance of the propeller. Then, the result of the aerodynamic analysis is given as input of the acoustic calculation. The sound is calculated using the Farassat 1A which was derived from Ffowcs Williams–Hawkings equation and is compared with the measurements.FindingsMoreover, the fan is modified for noise reduction by changing its geometrical parameters such as span, chord length and torsion angle.Originality/valueThe variation trend of aerodynamic and acoustic are compared and discussed for different modification tasks. Some meaningful conclusions are drawn on the noise reduction of propeller.

The random aggregate model was used to simulate the structure of concrete, and microscopic damage and crack of concrete in splitting tensile tests were simulated by Finite Element Method. The process of splitting tensile damage for concrete was studied. The result shows that the method of numerical simulation based on random aggregate model is mainly feasible, and the surface between concrete aggregate and mortar is the weak part

Based on the Maxwell equation and simulation analysis method, this paper investigates and retains the optimized parameters of a high-speed solenoid valve, which is very important for electrical unit pump (EUP) diesels. According to the electromagnetic theory, firstly, a three-dimensional (3D) model of the solenoid valve is established, and working process of the electromagnets is analyzed by using both the theoretical method and Ansys Workbench software. In view of the electromagnetic force, furthermore, several parameters related to the solenoid valve performance are considered and their effects on solenoid valve are analyzed and discussed. Finally, the optimized parameters are proposed for the analyzed solenoid valve and proved by theoretical equations. The studied approach can be extended to any other field related to the electromagnetic device design.

In order to improve vehicle driving function, the author establishes a three-dimensional model of a sedan McPherson front suspension with ADAMS / CAR, besides, there is an analysis on the wheel vertical beating positioning parameter variation of the suspension when driving. With the evaluation of the rationality of the suspension design parameters, reaching the common method for the analysis and optimization of the vehicle suspension based on ADAMS, by which, we can improve the function of the vehicle suspension system, and save time to design the vehicle suspension.
