It is important for the marine engineers to master the control principle with the widely application of PLC technology on marine equipment. Basing on the characteristic of marine oily water separator, a simulating control system on marine oily water separator was designed with PLC technology to meet the need of marine engineer training and competence assessment. The system integrates drawing bilge water, separating oil and water, draining off water, draining off oil and alarm of oil content high together. With running reliable and operating simple, it helps marine engineers/ trainees to master the control principle of marine oily water separator.

With the widely application of PLC technology on marine auxiliary boiler, the marine engineers should master the control principle. Basing on the characteristic of marine boiler, a combustion scheduling simulating control system on marine auxiliary boiler was designed with PLC technology to meet the need of sailors teaching and competence assessment. The system integrates automatic igniting, water feeding, two-position control of steam pressure and safety protection together. With running reliable and operating simple, it helps sailors to master the control principle of marine auxiliary boiler based on PLC technology.

The design idea of monitored control subsystem of vessel dynamic cyclone oily water separator is based on LabVIEW software platform, adopted DataSocket technology, by using DAQcard-A-16E-4E data acquisition card to realize real-time monitoring. This paper introduced the components of the monitored control system, analyzed its working conditions. According to the experimental operating records on some real ships, the application results and characteristics are summarized.

<p>Oil Water Separator (OWS) is an auxiliary machine that separates oil from water. It is waste that containing water and oil. The result of that separation reach less than 15 ppm so that the wastewater from the sea does not cause pollution. This mechine aircraft has a role to prevent the of pollution at sea. It is in accordance with MARPOL 1973 ANNEX I. The purpose of this study is to determine the cause of the high oil content resulting from the OWS on board of MT. Ontari. In this case the researchers used a combined method of shel and ultrasonography as data analysis techniques to analyze the problems that on OWS, such as what factors caused the increase in oil content and what efforts were made to overcome these factors. The data shel is to analize the problems. The ultrasonography is to determining the top priority problems. The result of this research that has been done on December 12, 2016 to October 26, 2017 on board of MT. Ontari on is that the level of the oil content inside OWS is caused by several factors. There are dirty coalesscer filters, bilge wells that containing dirty oil, lack of proper maintenance and due to misconducting tyhe procedures on tyhe manual book. The suggestion to overcome this problems are cleaning or replacing the coalesscer filters and bilge and optimal care of the OWS.</p><p><em><strong>Keywords : Oil water separator, Remnants, Oil</strong></em></p><p><em><strong><br /></strong></em>Oily Water Separator (OWS) merupakan permesinan bantu yang memisahkan minyak dari air buangan yang mengandung minyak sampai hasil pemisahannya mencapai kurang dari 15 ppm sehingga air buangan kelaut tidak menimbulkan pencemaran. Pesawat ini mempunyai peranan untuk mencegah terjadinya pencemaran dilaut sesuai dengan MARPOL 1973 ANNEX I. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab tingginya kandungan minyak hasil proses ows yang terjadi di MT. Ontari. Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan metode gabungan antara shel dan usg sebagai teknik analisis data untuk menganalisis masalah yang ada pada pesawat oily water separator, yaitu faktor-faktor apakah yang menyebabkan meningkatnya kandungan minyak hasil proses oily water separtor dan upaya apa yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi faktor–faktor dari permasalahan tersebut dengan menganalisis faktor menggunakan metode analisis data shel, dan menentukan prioritas utama dengan menggunakan metode usg. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan peneliti di kapal MT. Ontari pada tanggal 12 Desember 2016 sampai dengan 26 Oktober 2017, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tinggi kandugan minyak hasil proses oily water separator disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu kotornya filter coalesscer, bilge well banyak mengandung minyak kotor dan kurangnya perawatan dan prosedur pengoperasian yang kurang tepat sesuai instruction manual book. Untuk mengatasi faktor-faktor tersebut dapat dilakukan langkah pembersihan atau penggantian filter coalesscer, pembersihan bilge well serta perawatan ows secara optimal.</p><p><em><strong>Kata kunci: Analisis, Kandungan minyak, Oily water separator</strong></em></p>

Pada konvensi MARPOL 73/78 Annex 1 untuk kapal tanker berukuran &gt;150 GRT (selain dari kapal tanker berukuran &gt; 400 GRT) dan <em>Marpol Consolidate</em> 2006 Annex 1 Regulation 32 “<em>Oil/Water interface Detector</em>” dan Regulation 34 “<em>Control Of Dischare Of Oil</em>” kamar mesin harus dilengkapi dengan sarana <em>Oily water separator</em> sebagai media pemisah antara air dan minyak. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui permasalahan sehubungan dengan kendala pengoperasian <em>Oily Water Separator</em><em>. </em>Metode pengumpulan data pada penulisan artikel ini studi literatur, wawancara, observasi, studipustaka. Hasil dari pemecahan permasalahan perawatan secara rutin perlu dilakukan untuk menjaga kuliatas dari performa mesin <em>Oily Water Separator</em>. Pengoperasian oleh operator kapal harus sesuai dengan <em>standar operating procedure </em>dengan baik dan benar . Selain itu pengecekan fungsi <em>oil discharge monitoring</em> pada sensor <em>oil content meter</em><em> </em>perludilakukan agar pengaturan <em>oil content meter</em>  yang sesuai dengan peraturan dari MARPOL Annex 1 yaitu sebesar15 ppm.

According to the principle of fresh water generator and by the use of programmable controller technology, a simulating control system on fresh water generator was designed to meet the need of sailors training and competence assessment. The system illustrates vacuumizing, supplying sea water, heating and condensing of the fresh water generator. It helps sailors to master the basic operation of fresh water generator.

This paper deals with the design and theoretical analysis on a novel vertical lift machine which can vertically lift above 700 kg load up to 3.2 meters above the floor and located the load with high accuracy of position and orientation. Firstly the design model based on the installment demands of line-replaceable units (LRUs) is constructed. Then theoretical analysis including the number of degree of freedom of the lift machine, the inverse kinematic, the control principle, the lift platform pose error and the precise pose control method are conducted in the article. The validity of the design model and the effectiveness of the precise pose control system are confirmed by experiments using a prototype lift machine.

The paper provides background on how bilge water has changed over the years and how technology has enabled manufacturers to stay ahead of the curve by borrowing technological breakthroughs from other areas to the measurement of oil content in the marine environment. Light scattering provides today a universal and reliable method, able to measure the wide range of oils present in a wildly variable and unpredictable bilge water mixture. Bilge water regulations were put in place to reduce the potential of harm to the environment from oily bilge water discharges. Regulations require that instruments verify effluent quality continually during the discharge process, which precludes the adoption for shipboard use of standard laboratory style testing with the associated time delays to complete the analysis. Measuring oil content with the light scattering measuring instrument is a tried and tested means for compliant bilge water verification. State of the art instruments employ sophisticated light measuring systems and they use complex algorithms to convert the scattered light pattern values into oil content reading, thereby considering interference from other than oil suspended matter, they prevent harm to the environment from bilge water discharges. A novel vector control system of the split double-rotor motor based on indirect vector control principle has been proposed. The mathematic models of the primary machine and the secondary machine are set up respectively. Through the coupling of the two models, the system model of the split double-rotor motor is build. Matlab software is used for the simulation and analysis of this indirect vector control system. According to the simulation results, the validity of system model is proved with nicer static and dynamic capability, and without steady-state error in stable state. These are important to analyze and design the double-rotor motor. Furthermore, the results provide the basis for simulation and apply of double-rotor motor in HEV.

Aiming at the problem of MIG welding and considering the existing analog control wire feed system has the disadvantages of low response speed, low control accuracy and poor stability. This thesis designs a set of digital control wire feed system based on LPC2132 microprocessor and introduces the control principle of wire feed motor, CAN bus interface circuit and PID control algorithm. Under the condition of power grid voltage fluctuation and load change, we do a lot of experiments. The results show that: the wire feed change rate of designed system is very small, which not only meets the requirements of JB/T-1998.MIG/MAG arc welding standard, but also greatly improves the accuracy and stability of control system.
